Quiet streets lined with picturesque single-family homes characterize the neighborhood of Harding. Upscale apartment complexes are also commonplace in this centrally located suburb. Located less than two miles from the heart of Roseville, residents have easy access to the city’s charming local businesses. Harding sits next door to Westfield Galleria at Roseville, Ridge at Creekside, and Creekside Town Center. Big-box stores, high-end retailers, and popular dining options are available right outside of the neighborhood. Harding is also home to the Fountains at Roseville, an outdoor mall with more high-end chain retailers, restaurants, and supermarkets. For more dining, shopping, and entertainment options, Sacramento is just 20 miles southeast of town.

Property Ratings at The Preserve at Creekside
Garage Door Repaired My garage door was having an issue with not opening. It took several days to remedy having to wait on the repair company. Nice new opener and system. The office was kind enough to Reno assign me a carport. Only snafu was the office didn’t let me know it was repaired and I didn’t find out until I checked it late in the day. There was a new remote that came with the opener but it was locked in the office. It would have been nice if they would have let me know. The kind maintenance fellow found the remote albeit with wrong garage number sticker on it. I think he gave me my neighbors new remote. Will exchange when I return to Sac All is well. Sometimes things just don’t go as we plan, but working together with understanding we get through it. .

Do your due diligence on your side, guys, when joining this apartment. I've been staying in this apartment since 2018 without any issues. However, recently, there have been changes in management i love the old management , and these new people are not responsible and don't listen to tenant requests at all. Last year, they gave me a garage, but it was not working as expected. After multiple emails and discussions with the staff, they finally repaired all the garages. If you have any issues with your garage, they only take action if it's a significant problem. Today, I reported an issue with the AC. The AC in my first-floor room is not working, and the temperature at night reaches 88F. You can imagine how hot it gets during the day. I politely requested assistance, but they are not listening. Somehow, I received an answer like this: 'We have ten pending requests in front of you, so please wait for them to be completed.' It makes me question the quality of their maintenance service.
Property Manager at The Preserve at Creekside, Responded To This Review
Hi venkat, we appreciate your feedback and apologize that you aren't fully satisfied with our community. In regards to the AC, we unfortunately had an issue with several other HVACs as well which our team worked on in the order that they were received. We appreciate your patience while our maintenance team worked diligently to serve all of our residents. We have recorded that your AC was fixed on Sunday but if there is anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office. We truly want you to love your home here at The Preserve! The Preserve at Creekside Management Team
The Preserve at Creekside is an excellent place to live! I’ve been a resident over 7 years and seen many changes ( most good, some not so good). But overall it has everything you need plus more! Wonderful staff!!
DO NOT MOVE HERE! -Car break-ins/Theft (My catalytic converter was stolen off the bottom of my car here. $2,200 Bill) -Car towing. (My car was parked in general parking and they towed my car with no notice. $320 bill) -Homeless people wandering the neighborhood and digging in trash -Uncooperative Leasing office. Rudeness and attitude and a general lack of care. -Not answering calls when service is needed (Without Hot water/AC) -Parking Situation. Parking is already limited so I pay for a garage here. The Leasing office booked multiple people in my garage spot causing me not able to park in my reserved spot for weeks while they did nothing. $100/Month for the spot -Loud maintenance all the time. It seems to never stop. It has been going on for months. I work nights and its unbearable. There is definitely more but this is just what I remember off the top of my head. I would definitely stay away from this place
The most hellish moving experience… and I didn’t even move in. I am trying to move with my fiancée back to California across the entire country from New York state. It is a monumental undertaking and renting during this time is clearly a difficult prospect in general, but the property management for the Preserve at Creekside have shown utter lack of care, consideration or interest in our business. I am out of work as a credentialed Social Science teacher, I did not expect I would be treated like a second class citizen with a veiled, barely hidden condescension from the staff, especially considering that my fiancée is a powerful working woman who doesn’t need my help to rent the likes of this place. Except, even though she qualified with glowing credit scores north of 790 and made over 80k a year, they were extremely reticent to rent to us. So assuage their wary minds, my very wealthy and influential family stepped in to act as guarantor for the lease to expedite the process. We had deadlines we were working behind and we needed it done with efficiency. Instead of this making matters easier, it made matters harder. The largesse of my family was questioned and condescended to while they continued to dither and incompetently fail to navigate verifying the $80k income through the State of New York. At one point they got into a bureaucratic struggle with the State of New York over who should fill out which form, and how. Believing that the State of New York, would just lie down and do what these property managers, in their hubris, had commanded. If it were up to the Preserve staff… we would still be waiting on the results of this struggle. Having whittled down their draconian and byzantine requests from all three of us, they said, with no amount of any certainty, that when the income was verified we *might* get a lease… eventually… Mind you, at this point it had been nearly 2 weeks, countless emails (including the ones the Preserve lost in filters) and $450 dollars that they just get to pocket for the pleasure of wasting our time. I have to conclude, based on how caustically hostile their staff is through a thin veneer of courtesy, that this is the business model at the Preserve at Creekside. The atmosphere every time I talked to them was dripping with self-righteous sanctimony, and a perverse lack of interest in doing upfront business with you. They aren’t even a bargain!!
Customer service is atrocious! The staff ushers your to apply and pay a $200 hold on an apartment unit. This $200 is forfeited after 72 hours of paying it and they make sure to take WAY more than 72 hours to even begin to look at your application. I had to follow up with all the staff MULTIPLE times to find out what items they were waiting on and to do their job for them in contacting employers and landlords because they called incorrect numbers and filled out forms incorrectly. After they got their over $300 in application and holding fees, they refused to provide updates or actively process the application and only did the bare minimum after being reminded. This place obviously doesn't care about renting out apartments. It seems like their real business isn't renting apartments, rather it is collecting $250+ application and holding fees for apartments that are supposedly available but never allowed to rent. I have a credit score of 800 and a job that pays over $80,000 a year and was put through the ringer at this place - despite only needing to make 2x the monthly rent. So apply to this place only if you have no intention of ever getting an apartment from them and you want to throw them a $250+ for nothing.
I am a New Tenant as of June 25, 2019. 3 Weeks as of Today. (San Francisco Job Relocation, to Roseville, CA) The Staff here is Very Pleasant and Professional. (Amanda and Noah in Particular) My Unit was Delivered in Exceptionally Clean Condition. The Property Grounds are also Extremely Clean and Well Maintained. Pool is also Sparkling Clean, and Well Maintained Daily! I requested a Small Maintenance Item, and it was Fixed Immediately! You cannot go wrong in Selecting this Property. Also well located near the Galleria Mall, and many other Shopping Districts. Also Close to the Main Business District on Douglas Blvd. Everything you Need is Here, or Close By,.......and Everything is CLEAN! Respectfully, Chris Baker New Tenant, June 2019, The Preserve at Creekside, Roseville, CA
Property Manager at The Preserve at Creekside, Responded To This Review
Hi, Chris! Thank you so much for taking the time to briefly share the experience you have had thus far! We want to be sure that you continue to have an amazing experience, and ask that you reach out to us right away if you were to need anything going forward. Thanks again! - The Preserve at Creekside Team
Renovations have been going on for more than a year. Most of them were begun without prior notice; banging on the roof was notification that the roof was being replaced; loud jack-hammer noises were the notification that the windows and the patio were being replaced; loud scrapping noises at my front door was the notification that my door was going to be painted. However, there is no hesitation by the front office to give notification that rules forbid placing items on one's patio or in front of their door; no plants on the patio and no shoes outside the front door. Appliances are the cheapest, lowest quality available. I can boil a pot of water on the range top by turning on the oven. I cannot tell you how many times maintenance has been over to replace the flapper in the toilet tank because it was leaking. Lived here for over 2 years and always paid my rent on time. When I went to pay February's rent I found the office closed, however there was a notice stating that the office was closed due to an emergency [read: Super Bowl] and what to do if a resident had a real emergency. The mail drop slot was screwed shut. Since I did not see a place to deposit my rent check I resolved to bring it by the office the next day. Because I was technically 1-day late with the rent the front office threatened to charge me a late fee; even if the office was closed, I could have "slipped the check into the crack between the front doors" - which was not mentioned in the lengthy notice on what to do since the office was closed.
I don't even know where to start with how horrible this place is. Shortly after I moved in, Amanda took over as office manager, and the change was drastic. Constant emails and notices posting the rules and regulations, patio inspections and surprise inspections to inspect our housekeeping, without our consent to enter. They did this under the guise of a California statute , where a landlord can enter to inspect for potential plumbing or electrical issues, however my research concluded that the statute doesn't cover housekeeping inspections. No use of our patios for 2 months before I moved out, with every sign of going on for months longer (with no rent credit), speed bumps installed every few feet, so from the community entrance to my garage, I had to drive over 15 speed bumps. That's 60 speed bumps per day just to leave the apartment twice! Management has no consideration for their tenants - it's like they're running a boot camp, making up rules after move-in that weren't in the lease, and I could go on, but there's only so much space. Suffice it to say that these girls (Amanda and Kelly) are on some kind of power trip and have no consideration that they're impacting the quality of life for their tenants. I was hoping to stay there until I found a house, but was forced to leave because I couldn't take it anymore. My new place is great and I'm so glad to be out of there!
Looked on line, seem like the rent was listed as 1475, so I went by and looked over a model. Things seem to go well and we got a written statement that the rent would be 1470 when we got the application, and said we would make up my mind and return the next day. When we returned she said the rent had gone up to $1500. So we left. Then we happened to see the rent was $1480. Maybe these people get upset when people want to look over other places. We will write HUD and the State, there needs to be better monitoring of how landlords manage rental rates. We just don't know what goes on here. Never been in a city where finding an apartment is like purchasing an Used Automobile. I have very sensitive hearing and had to visit these places to find out how close they are to traffic noises. Also some of these apartments are just not built with the Wall Noise Installation that they were many years ago. jr.
Ultimately, I am happy that I moved here for a few reasons. 1. Location- The complex is close (walking distance if you have a few minutes) from the Fountains, the Galleria, and a few other shopping centers. While there are many apartments in the vicinity, this is one of the few that offers points of entry that can be accessed without falling victim to the intense traffic of the Galleria. 2. Parking- The only complex I have lived in where a spot is always open for you. 3. Cost- It is important to understand that this area of Roseville is pricier than other parts of town, but in regards to the size and location of my apartment, this offers the best value of any place I saw in the area. 4. Big Closets and Garage- The master bedroom has two large closets that lead into the master bathroom. Some units also have a covered garage. 5. Great outdoor amenities: Big pool, free use of nice grills near the pool, large communal propane fire pit, and a 24 hour (small) fitness center.
The apartments are spacious and some units face the nature preserve. Major shopping centers are within a 5 mile radius, the Galleria is within walkable distance. There are many day's you will see the wild turkeys walking down the grass peaking in your window! It's a perfect layout with a large living room and kitchen as well as a wonderful large spa like tub in the master bath. It's pet friendly and public areas are well kept. The office and maintenance staff are friendly and available 7 days a week. The Preserve at Creekside is a great place to live!
