Property Ratings at The Preserve at Pine Valley
I want to formally thank, Frank. His work is continuously excellent! His knowledge and ability is beyond compare! Thank you so very much for fixing my inside issues! Always pleased to see you and your professionalism!!!
Went with the furnished unit and it came with EVERYTHING we needed! A couch, TV, unused towels, a Keurig, a rug, lamps, bedding, pots, pans, all dish utensils, etc! Truly such a good property to live at, especially with how well they upkeep maintenance, the new mail kiosks, pest control, monitored parking, etc. Truly my home :)
Staff is very professional and friendly, I can always trust them to hear my concerns and fix any problems quickly. The maintenance staff is also very good at what they do. Amenities are in good condition and always kept up. Neighbors are friendly and it’s a great place for families, quiet at night and lots of kids of all ages live here.
The office team is always so kind! I love it here!
The maintenance staff is always fantastic. The office staff is so friendly and so helpful! I love living here!
Since new management company took over place had really gotten bad. There are rats, roaches, snakes and the new property manager Andrew refuses to do anything to fix the problem. They are more worried about the office and the things new prospective tenants might see then people's actual homes. It took over four months to get our air conditioner fixed. Some residents are over charged for water have a/c that barely cool, stairs and balconies that are falling apart.
I had a rat in my apartment on a Thiesday night. We call the emergency number that night. Andrew tells us someone MAY come Friday to set the trap than he says you being here over a year and this is your first rat as if it's normal! Friday evening I get 2 of my kids (I have 3 small kids) out of the tub and look up and it comes in the living room. I'm terrified. I ran out the house screaming and crying. We call back and they say they still can't do anything. Expect to have pet rats if you live here even though your lease says they aren't welcome.
Office Staff are condescending. Will walk right by you and not acknowledge you at all. Any issues Andrew will put off on you to take care of. To get the simplest thing fixed takes an act of Congress. The only good thing I could say about this place is that they have some good people living here. Good people in a really bad situation. Will not be renewing my lease and would tell others to not even sign one.
The past year or so, since long-time owner Foglemen sold the property has been trying to residents. The first property management company brought in was a disaster. Several months ago the owners brought in a new management company - Drucker. That company now seems to have brought in an entirely new on-site management team. Since the new team has been in place, the buildings, patios and sidewalks have been power washed, the landscaping has been refreshed and construction of a new playground is underway. I am cautiously optimistic that this apartment community may be on the road back to being a older but well-maintained and responsive-to-residents community.
After being bought out by Carlisle Properties everything has been awful! It took months to even get some semi-permanent staff in place. They no longer offer community events and the pool is disgusting (also ants everywhere there.) The apartments are old and run down and several have serious mold issues as well as roach, rat, and flea issues! With all of these issues the new owners have raised the rent by a few hundred dollars! The maintainance is a huge joke! The worst part yet is that the customer service is awful! The office staff is decently nice but they don't have good management skills and the big rigs that own the company are rude!
As Governour's Square, the people in charge their were very friendly and prompt to fix any problems and go out of their way to make sure the problems were permanently fxed, not just a quick fix. Their website always worked as well and you could share certain extents of your account with roommates as well as find out how much you owed when as well as put in quick requests for any kind of maintenance. Now...they are pretty inefficient and have increased costs, their website isn't helpful except for people looking to move in. It often takes days for almost any kind of maintenance to be done. They probably should not have sold this complex.
