Greer, South Carolina is a convenient small town less than 20 minutes from Greenville. Apalachee Lake, streaming into South Tyger River, and Lake Robinson are located in Greer, giving residents wonderful water views. Greer Golf and Country Club on Gap Creek Road has views of Apalachee Lake and South Tyger River with memberships available to the public. Greer City Park in downtown stretches across 12 acres and offers a little oasis for the community. If you’re interested in learning more about the history of Greer, a visit to the Greer Heritage Museum downtown is a must.
A variety of restaurants and bars are conveniently located in the downtown area, such as the Blue Ridge Brewing Company, a vibrant brewery serving upscale pub food. Property Ratings at The Preserve at West View Apartments
Under no circumstances should you be advised to live here if you work third shift. No matter what they tell you in the office the constant all year landscaping will keep you from being able to sleep for work.
When you first go into the office, the apartment managers make you feel very welcome. They assist you in anyway they can. The maintenance is always on time. They appreciate they tenants and they show us in so many ways.
As we are considering renewing our lease, I can't think of any negative aspect of this place. In our experience: Our neighbors have been fine No scary dogs No trash strewn about Clean landscaping no security concerns, cops live in units although I've never seen them have to respond to anything within the complex. Office staff is friendly and genuinely cares about tenants. After doing a pretty obsessive search for the kajillion apts in the Greer/Greenville area, I've come to the conclusion that it is next to impossible to find a clean, updated, spacious unit with w/d in unit and WATER SEWER AND TRASH INCLUDED! Almost all the apts we visited (around 10) have that as a separate, astronomical cost. Additionally, a lot of places have mandatory cable packages which this does not. If our renewal fee doesn't jump too much, we will definitely stay because you cannot beat the location or the amenities.
