Property Ratings at The Preserve Murfreesboro Apartments
Just recently moved here and was very impressed. The fact that majority of the reviews were from more than a year or 2 years ago really got me doubting it. Once I got a tour and talked to their agent I realized how much work and effort they’ve put into this new and improved apartments that I know the old ones are out. Give it try!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REAAAD!! MSTU students I repeat DO NOT move here!! I regret moving student apartments this year my experience has been terrible! My whole experience has been unprofessional since move in !! When I moved into my apartment my bed was in the living room no blinds and no keys!! Not to mention my roommate is a 59 year old woman who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day and yells constantly anytime through the night or day I thought these were student apartments? Everytime you go to the office there is only 1 person working and management is just down right poor!!! I cannot wait until July I will be finishing my college experience else where !
If I could rate negative stars I would rate it a -5. I would not recommend my enemy to rent from this place. This place is run by a whole staff of children. When I first moved here in April 2019 I signed my lease for a 3x3 apartment and they moved me into a 4x4 instead. Okay fine it’s not that deep. In May 2019 I received an email that my renewal lease was signed which I had not signed it because I never planned to stay past July 31,2019. In May I went to the office and spoke with the “office leasing manager” and told him what the problem was but he simply stated that it says it was signed through a rental portal and that was all he had to say about it. I began looking through my lease and reading the fine print and on my original lease that I started in April; it has a signatures page where it shows where everybody signed. Here’s the thing I had to have a co-signer to move into this apartment in the first place and my co-signer did not sign the “current” lease and neither did I. On the new lease my IP address is the same as the managers and on the first lease it shows my actual IP address. This is just one of the many things I’ve dealt with. I signed the lease the same time my roommates did and just because I’ve been contacting corporate and everything there’s alway extra charges on my account. Also you can’t get anything fixed living here they don’t take the time to do anything they are supposed to. They had to have a 3rd party company to come in and help their original maintenance crew do their jobs when all they do is ride around on carts all day. Random people still come through the “gated community” it’s no different than when it was open. They charge you for if people have stuff on the balcony that’s not supposed to be there. Example there was a chair on my balcony that I wasn’t aware of because I rarely use the balcony; I have $150 charge on my account because of something someone else did but they still expect me to pay. Anybody looking for a place needs to avoid The pointe at Raiders campus at all costs
I have lived here since 2017 , it’s had it’s ups and downs but it has come up out from a lot. They are working on things as we speak. And it’s gated so no worries on any problems with people messing with your vehicles, two resort style pools, work out room , tanning beds, place to do your school work, free wifi, and they have different specials for residents almost every other week. It’s secluded next to a wooded area.
I wish I could give this place no stars! First off cops are here at least once a week due to the high crime rate, robberies, drug deals, shootings, and parties that go on 7 days a week. Next the grounds are horrible and many residents own 2 or more dogs leaving any grass area to me covered with poop and if you live on the first floor people also let their dogs poop on your patio so you can’t even enjoy sitting on your patio without looking and mounds of dog poop. The apartment it’s self is filled with mold and old appliances that never work, the washer and dryers don’t work at all and if you put a maintenance request in well you are just wasting your time because it still won’t be fixed. Lastly the management changes every few months and they are always “out of the office” no matter who it is! This is by far the worst place in Murfreesboro to live!
Front gate does not close, appliances hardly work, furniture is old, bugs, sketchy neighbors, cops are called here often, office workers do not care about residents, mold in windows, shuttle bus cancels last minute, slim in pools, not enough maintenance workers, and maintenance requests get ignored. Management is aware of living conditions because of routine apartment checks.
I usually do not leave comments like these, but I feel the need to tell others. Do not live here, POINTE blank period. Management is OKAY once they have a new team settle in every other month. Maintenance is very unorganized and they lie, saying they have "completed" the "work order" when they HAVE NOT, and that'll keep going on and on. Save yourself some time, money and PEACE OF MIND by staying far, far away from this place, PLEASE! You deserve better!!
I have lived at The Pointe for 3 years. Ever since I moved in, my dryer has not been working correctly. I have to dry my clothes 3 times to actually get them dry. I complained a plethora of times, but nothing still has changed. Maintenance continues to tell me that nothing is wrong with my dryer, though I have to dry my clothes a thousand time. That takes up too much time as well as runs up my overages. The Pointe said that they are more interested in repairing multiple times and then replacing. Nothing has been done though..Also, I went about 3 months without air in the summertime.. That should say enough about the pointe
**IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT COMPLEX IN MURFREESBORO** As a current resident of The Pointe at Raiders Campus in Murfreesboro, Tennessee I have to say DO NOT LIVE HERE. I filed a formal complaint with the office in January (5 months after a random roommate was moved into my apartment) to regulate the use of the laundry machines (her family and friends all do their laundry in my apartment), to get the person who was sleeping on my couch out, to get a better control of the AC/Heat unit as it was always set to the "extremes" (80 when cold outside, 55 when warm outside), to get the random roommate to stop giving her keys or copying her keys to give to her friends so they could come and go from my apartment as they please, to get the new random roommate and friends to stop leaving the front door unlocked, and to get the new random roommate to stop eating my food and using my kitchen utensils and flatware. The Office sent a note saying that her "illegal guest" had 3 days to leave and that was all that they did. The "illegal guest" simply moved from the couch to her bedroom. It is now June and I have been complaining ever since I wrote the formal complaint in January- to no avail. The office has done nothing to help me in this situation, and will not even reply to my email or phone calls any more. I have been a loyal resident for 5 years with no noise complaints, no complaints from other roommates, no extra fines or fees, and little to no overages. In the almost 60 months I have lived at The Pointe I have had (maybe) 3 overages until this last year. The office is neglecting to help me in my situation even though I have complained through all of the proper channels and procedures, and they are still charging me outrageous overages that I have not caused. DO NOT LIVE AT THE POINTE. The office is unhelpful, slow, and changes management every other month. The bus is broken down more than it runs, and there is trash all over the complex all of the time. Also, the gates are never closed. They make you pay $10 upon move-in for a gate pass and then they never shut the gates. If they do shut them, someone always hits the gate so that they are open again. Pointe-less waste of money. From one current resident who is moving out ASAP- do yourself a favor, and live somewhere else.
Overall, the apartment is very nice and so are the amenities. The staff is very nice. The two biggest down falls are that it takes a very long time to get things repaired, and their roommate matching is not very good.
It said it was luxury living. Admittedly, it looked very nice. A choice of 3 or 4 roommates under $500. However, the maintenance was rude and intrusive. The crime rate is ridiculous. This place is known for burglary around the leases end. I've been robbed twice. Two tv's gone among others things. There has been assaults unfortunately, as well. They have received new management, but the units have a bad gnat problem and also molding in the restrooms and bedroom windows.
