As its name implies, Central Downtown is located in the center of Fremont and is home to the city’s downtown district. Located between three major freeways and a train station located in the northern end of the neighborhood, Central Downtown is a popular spot for those working at tech companies in Silicon Valley. Downtown is home to several medical facilities including Fremont Center Hospital, Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center, and the Washington Hospital Healthcare System, providing renters with employment opportunities and healthcare close to home as well. Residents can walk, bike, or drive to diverse restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers like the Fremont Hub, an outdoor mall with big-box department stores. Along with central location and abundant amenities, renters love being within walking distance to Central Park, Fremont’s largest park with playgrounds, a skate park, a water park, and more.

Property Ratings at The Presidio
Multiple bad things including policy with guest parking not allowed beyond a certain number of passes per month but the most egregious is that the apartment does not have hot water very frequently. It has happened thrice in past couple of weeks where you don’t have hot water without any notice. I have lived here for 1.5 years but don’t plan to renew my lease anymore. Having lived in multiple apartment communities across 3 states this is my worst experience renting an apartment.
Our move out statement was horrible they charged us for small wear and tear( carpet replacement, stove top, bath tub reglaze and many more) when asked to explain the move out statement they were acting rude. The management is very rude.

The worst apartment complex I have ever had. After 1 year lease, the price increased by 10%, and move out statement was crazy. They charged us for everything. Full carpet replacement, full paint, stovetop replacement. So people take photos and be ready to sue those guys. Management does not know how to do business and they are so rude.

Hi folks, if you are currently live in this community or decide to move in, please read this carefully: 1. Your car will be towed from your own signed parking area at any time without giving any specific notice. 2. The leasing manager says that your car needs to be registered on an app called Reliant to avoid towing. And the thing is, on that App, you cannot register your first car for free. You can only order New Permit by paying $25/year; that confused most residents. Because on the Rental Agreement, you will see: "All residents are allowed to park one vehicle at no charge. But an annual $25 parking permit fee will also apply for EACH VEHICLE". WHICH MEANS THERE IS NO FREE PARKING IN THIS COMMUNITY. After your car got towed and paid $500 you will realize that they play words in the Rental Agreement. 3. I have been told there were around 50 cars towed during the past weekend!!? I mean, I highly doubted that the management company is making money from its residents based on some agreements with the towing company. 4. The move-in experience is terrible; you won't get the gate key and mailbox key until they are available. 5. If you pay the rental fee by check, be careful; there will be a late fee because the management team may forget to read your check. There are different ways to make money, but what this community management team did here is evil.

We are sorry you had to deal with a tow. Our Community Manager will be reaching out. Our team sent our reminders about our parking policies, and the requirement to be registered. If there are any problems with or questions about the registration process or our policies, we encourage our residents to contact our office. We’re always happy to help.
The staff is very rude to tenants. They don't know how to communicate with tenants.

It is a very nice apartment. Location is excellent. It is within working distance to both Fremont BART station and central park. There are fence and gate around the community, it is very safe. 1. Building/apartment are in very good condition. I lived in a remodeled unit. It is in top condition, it was very clean. 2. Staff is very friendly. I never had any issues during moving in and moving out. I had to move out due to personal reason. Even after half a year, they still called me to tell me to pick m y package which was sent to Presidio by mistake. 3. There are a lot of tree, grass and flowers around buildings. It is really nice. Overall it is a very nice experience living there. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
The management started a construction in the building right in our hallway. We were not offered any other space to work or even they didn’t reduce the price for rent. It is impossible to be in the apartment, not saying even to work from home. While offices remain closed and we have no other choice.
Last year I wrote very nice words about Presidio. Now I don't feel so. Main reason is repair work.
Leasing process was simple and easy and leasing office staff was really helpful. Apartment readiness and flexible moving dates are few parameter need to be carefully look into by management team. Overall experience was good, and would love to recommend this apartment to my friends and colleagues!!
The Presidio Apartments was a refreshing find when searching for a place to stay. The quality of apartments was one of the best I could find in this area at a more reasonable price than others. The whole complex is very well maintained and any service requests I've made in the one month I've lived here have been addressed quickly and completely. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with having found an apartment here and would definitely consider renewing my lease once it's over.
Nice community with lots of greenery and good apartment layouts. Remodelled apartments are really nice to be in.
Overall community is good, maintenance of common areas is really good. Some areas could use improvements like ventilation in units. better guidelines for residents and employees to wear masks and follow social distancing.
Good Community to live with and very safe.
I expected a much better response to issues and not led to believe things will be taken care of when they obviously havent been
Great proximity to BART station, supermarkets, lake Elisabeth for walks. I really like the pool areas and the jacuzzi, especially the heated one in the winter. Outside green areas are well maintained and let you feel like you are in a vacation rental home. The electric car chargers are really convenient for my car. Washer and dryer inside the apartment are a great feature as well.
Apartments floors doesn't have any sound proofing, may be you can hear lots of noise from foot steps of people living above to your apt. My experience is worse especially during silent hrs. It's Convenient location, you may be lucky if you get light walkers on top of your unit. Good luck!!
When moving in, there were thousands of bugs and roaches in the unit. Owners just wanted to have the unit rented without taking care of the issue ahead of time. There are still roaches and bugs and we have not yet completely unpacked as the issue is not resolved after more than 1 month of moving in.
Oustanding
It's been fun 5 years living at The Presidio! It's truly been a home-away-from-home for us!
This is a wonderful place for anyone who is commuting to the City - Bart is nearby. The place is clean and homely, with multiple amenities... but also comes with a price.
Great location, close to BART station and excellent amenities with two pools (one heated) and jacuzzi. New appliances in the apartment and great floor layout.
Extraordinary community to live and enjoy
This is a beautiful gated community that offers indoor and outdoor pools, an exercise room, beautiful and well maintained landscaping. It is a relatively quiet area and the location is excellent for my needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this complex to others.
Convenient location, multiple pools & a playground for kids.
Great location and place to live in, constantly improving !
I am kind of person who likes to go through reviews before buying anything. When I searched for The Presidio, Fremont. I found lot of negative reviews on net. But I can tell you with my moving experience and overall stay of 3 months, this is one of the good community you'll find in Fremont. Good location, very good office staff, extremely easy leasing formalities, quick maintenance and list goes on. This is perfect home for me and my family !! Special Mention of Maria and Jenne from office staff. They are extremely polite, professional and prompt at work.
I have been living for more than a year now and had very pleasant experience. Location is a big advantage for daily SFO commute as this is close to Fremont Bart station. The maintenance system is very prompt and I all our requests for maintenance were addressed within very reasonable time. The team at leasing office including Mohammed, Marisol and Jayne are very responsive to our requests and always helpful. The recently open kids park is a fun place for kids. We highly recommend this community for families looking for a good community with all amenities.
A good place to live with generous spaces, homey feel, and very convenient location.
We have been living at The Presidio Apartments for the past five years and it has been a wonderful experience. The maintenance staff is very courteous, efficient and responsive.
Good community with good locality. Kids will have more fun in presidio. Rent will be above average \ range.
