Stroll along Baker Beach and enjoy fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean, or head to Crissy Field Beach for a perspective from the bay and some of the best views of Alcatraz Island.

Bug infestation & dirty
This building is dirty and bug-infested. Their exterminators haven't been able to get the bugs in my apartment under control. Even when it's cool and dry outside, It's also super hot and humid in my unit (like, sweating-while-sitting-down, pretty hard to sleep hot). Also, at least one of the appliances is broken pretty much at all times.

The Presidio Landmark is a one-of-a-kind building in San Francisco, located in a national park adjoining some 1400 acres of forest, historical military buildings, and quiet neighborhoods especially suited to children. The Landmark is well-built and well-maintained, attractive, and at a remove from traffic noise. It was smartly repurposed from its original use as a hospital and has a pleasant community of residents.

I almost don't want to write a review saying how much my family and I love living here. I think the Landmark is still a bit of a well-kept secret in the city judging, by how many times San Francisco natives state they had no idea that this historical landmark is now an apartment building! The staff are what make the building feel like home, for us.

I love living at Presidio Landmark! I’ve been here a little over a year, and this location and building could not meet my needs any better. The staff are wonderful, the parking is a huge asset, and services like 24-hr concierge and on-site maintenance have been extremely helpful. I’ve only lived here since the pandemic lockdown, but i am ready to participate in more of the social life at Presidio as that resumes.

Convenience and caring
My husband and i moved into the Presidio Landmark in May 2020. Since the first visit and a tour with Jason, it was a perfect fit for us. Our apartment is lovely and quiet, had lots of closet space, and the finishes are first rate. The concierge staff and management are considerate, kind, and always “at your service.” Even the maintenance team is responsive and aims to please, no matter what the issue. I renewed my lease in large part due to the overall convenience and the caring staff.

1 year living at the Landmark
I've lived here for a year. The landscaping, build quality, scenic views, and tranquil trails are extraordinary. I will however warn future residents about the frequent false fire alarms: they are quite disruptive (~1.5 a month).
