Property Ratings at The Presidio
This was my very first time getting my own place. I was shown a model apartment that wasn’t quite fixed up but she swore that wasn’t the unit that I was going to be in. So I put down a $40 application fee and a $200 Administration fee for the upstairs fixed up unit she told me to come back the next week for. So I came back the next week, ready to move in, I bought cleaning supplies and everything ready to move in and the unit she told me to come back to see And when I got there she told me that someone else moved in And then tried to get me to settle for that busted unit she showed me. Someone need to do something about this fraud because their taking people’s hard earned money only to NOT fix up the apartments. Smh I should have listened to the reviews! Do Not Waste Your Time And Money Like I did. Lesson Learned
I moved in to this apartment complex in March 2017. In the beginning, everything appeared to be alright, then I started having issue after issue. The dishwasher kept getting clogged which caused the sink to overflow, I found 2 enormously large spiders on the wall, fights always broke out in the parking lot during the night, cops always get called there, none of the exterior doors to your building locked, the place is absolutely nasty and filthy, AND I EVEN FOUND A SNAKE ON MY BATHROOM FLOOR UPON ENTERING ( NO REASON A SNAKE SHOULD BE ON MY BATHROOM FLOOR). Also, I couldn't even use the laundry room at night because there was always a grown man sitting in the dark in the laundry room with a small child, so I ended up calling the police after it kept happening. They haven't updated the pictures of the property in probably 20 years. They should take some of that rent money and put it towards renovations and up-keeping, which they don't do at all. That being said, I had a discussion with the property manager and asked her if I could breach the lease. She said that was fine and that I could get out of the lease due to all the issues I was having; the only thing I needed to do was provide her with a written letter that I was moving. SO I PACKED ALL MY STUFF UP IN TWO TRUCKS, HAD THE APARTMENT COMPLETELY EMPTY, then when I took her the written letter, she said that the corporate office would not let me breach the lease. She did not even attempt to call me , knock on my door, or anything to let me know that she could not keep her word. I wouldn't have packed my stuff if she hadn't told me I could break the lease. Then they report it to collections agency. Bottom line is this whole place needs torn to the ground and completely rebuild.
Infested with rats horrible not worth the price at all
I've lived in Wellington Arms for 3 years , and they always change mangers every month , Maintenance is horrific they make up new rules every time there is a new change in power , Apts are okay but if anything breaks your out of look i got into a apt that had a broken window and 3 years later they still haven't fixed it , i put something over it and they told me i had to take it done . The people out there aren't bad just it is ran very poorly and they are NEVER in there office say its open 6 days a week but there always close . Would def not recommend any move out there may look nice but its not worth the long term anger issues you will get from living there .
I recently moved to Wellington Arms Apts. I am a night worker that sleeps all day. I live in the front by a main driveway in a 2 story townhouse. It is very serene, quiet, and friendly any day or night. The neighbors are of all ages from older folks to youngsters and still the atmosphere is very quiet and calm. The maintenance family is very adept and prompt. The management is " Team Shannon". They are always available for any need. One of the team actually lives on the property as part of the maintenance family do. It was a very perfect move for me and my family. Catherine H.
