While it is only 11 short miles from Downtown Denver, Greater Thornton feels like a suburban retreat with picturesque views of the mountains in the west. Thornton apartments are popular for those who want to live close to Denver, but also want that rugged Colorado terrain that provides so many outdoor activities, from camping and hiking to mountain biking and bird-watching.
There are plenty of highly-rated schools at every level in Greater Thornton, the more rural and suburban area that surrounds the heart of the city, making this an ideal place for families with children. Stunning views and unparalleled natural beauty make this part of Thornton popular with nature lovers as well, but all residents will get to enjoy the beauty of the Rockies.

Property Ratings at The Promenade at Hunters Glen
The Promenade has a lot of great things going for it. The maintenance crew is always timely and on top of things. The office crew is polite and helpful. The area around the complex is very green and scenic. The surrounding area has a wide variety of food and grocery stories to go to. The lake behind the complex is amazing for walks or exercising. Does it have some issues? Yes, but every apartment has issues. Overall, it’s a great place to live for a slightly above average price range. I would recommend it.

Thank you so much for the kind words! It means a lot to us and our entire team! We are so happy to hear you enjoy living here as we love having you as part of the Promenade at Hunter's Glen community!
We really enjoying living at Promenade at Hunters Glen. The front desk staff is very helpful and responsive, and the maintenance crew is super quick and efficient. We love seeing Stephon walk through our door, whenever we put in a maintenance request. One of our favorite parts of living here is the food trucks they bring in. We also love going for walks around the lake, with a beautiful view of the mountains! The apartments are very spacious and make us feel right at home. We would highly recommend living here!

We can't thank you enough for the recommendation of The Promenade! We hope to count you among the valued members of our community for many years to come. As always, let us know if you ever need anything at all!
This place is literally one of the worst places you can rent. Do yourselves a favor and stay away. Sure it looks nice on the outside but it is waaayyy to expensive for what you actually get. My husband's car had gotten stolen, we told them about it and they didn't seem to care. After that our car got towed twice and had to pay 300+ each time, and it wasn't even our fault, they said that they couldn't do anything about it and they're "sorry." I signed a 1 year lease and literally 3 months of living there, cabinet handles, door hinges, bathroom rack and door knobs started breaking. Now I'm not someone who has great upper body strength so that's not why everything is breaking. It's like they didn't intend on anyone living there for a long time. By the way, a little side note, the cabinet door under the sink was broken when we were looking at the apartment and they said everything would get fixed by the time we had to move it and I mean yeah sure it was fixed... WITH A ROLLED UP PIECE OF PAPER SHOVED INSIDE THE HOLE TO HOLD THE STUPID HANDLE IN. Gee what great service. Oh and now comes the time that we are moving out and saying hello to alllllll the ridiculous up charges. All they want to do is suck all the money out of you. God I really wish I didn't rent here.

We're truly sorry you feel that way, though we can't help but disagree with your assessment of our community and management team. In fact, we're proud of the five-star environment we've established here over the years, and we remain committed to improving our service as opportunities arise. In any case, please contact our leasing office directly if you wish to discuss your thoughts further. We're always available to help.
They will not communicate about anything but will fine or tow a vehicle without hesitation. Management can be dense and will borderline refuse to communicate with tenants. You would think paying more for rent you would get better, not worse, service but you will not. Better off going down the street for $400 less a month. At least they won't tow your car after you pay them $8 to park.

We're saddened to hear your negative impression of our community has led you to believe that there is a management flaw. All members of our team work hard to provide our residents with a five-star living experience, and we'd love for another chance to restore your opinion of us. Please contact our office at your next convenience so that we may have the opportunity to discuss your concerns. Thank you.
For the price, there are equivalent options, especially in Thornton. Here’s a list of things we experienced: It’s right next to the fire station, so you hear fire trucks come in and out constantly. Even late at night. This is a smoking community, so residents are allowed to smoke weed and have the smell constantly enter and fill your apartment. Office staff will not do anything because smoking is allowed. The office staff is hard to get a hold of and never picks up. Dog poop is more prevalent here than at other properties. This causes the property to stink. Lots of break ins. Before we left, a car was broken into. We called the office about it, and they never responded to us. Parking is pretty awful, and it’s not uncommon to have to park miles away from your building. No courtesy patrol. The homeless will go through the garbage and people will do drugs on the playground. It’s not safe walking to my car at night. This property is just another run down apartment complex in Thornton. Don’t let its location fool you.

While we appreciate you sharing your concerns, we’re saddened to learn that your experience has not been a more accurate reflection of the positive living situation that we strive to offer. Our residents’ comfort is very important to us and we are sorry to hear that noise from your neighbors has been an issue, as we know that noise pollution can be an unfortunate side effect of living in a multifamily housing situation. Furthermore, we want all residents to enjoy their time in our community whether they have pets or not. Please alert us of any problem areas you’ve noticed and let us know if you see any community members disregarding our policies. At your earliest convenience, please contact the office so we may have the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail.
"Newly Renovated" means fresh paint, new fixtures, appliances, linoleum and repainted cabinet doors. Unfortunately, whomever conducts the walk-through before re-renting units has a very poor attention to detail and basics (leaking sinks & faucets), non-working hot water heater, appliances not installed properly, stained carpets, multiple electric outlets partially work, marker writing on doors that paint didn't cover, and generally not thoroughly cleaned (found food on floors, in cabinets, etc). Property: Stay on the sidewalks, since daily maintenance picking up dog waste in all grass areas can't keep up with the inconsiderate pet owners. When you walk the grounds, you can smell it. Trash can be found thrown about (especially the neighbors kid who decided to throw his soda can onto our patio), Sharpie Marker graffiti seems to be found everywhere (doors, walls, exterior buildings). Parking is almost unbelievably inadequate and tenants speeding through the grounds is a hazard. If you are a non-smoker...you will smell cigarette smoke in the apartments from the neighbors, cigarette butts nearly everywhere, and first floor patios need to be aware of cigarettes falling from the units above. It's hard to imagine that pressure washing down the breezeways has not been considered (bugs, spider webs, clothes dryer lint, dirt are common). Tenants: Loud...noise from kids running, jumping and pounding. Cars & stereos blasting. Screaming, fighting, swearing in the breezeways. It appears "quiet hours" are midnight to sunrise, otherwise it seems there is ongoing "activity". Conclusion: I have worked and lived throughout the U.S. and this experience ranks in the lower end of apartments I've rented. In this case, it was based on limited time to review all of the options. If you need four walls and a roof, it is passable. It's possible other units are better, but in this case, it is a short-term option only. The Denver area is in a housing crunch and the prices are all inflated. The more costly communities obviously have very limited availability (because they are well-kept, well managed, well maintained and typically have a better clientele). Unless you have limited options or time constraints, I strongly suggest you shop around, as I cannot offer a recommendation based my experience.

We're sincerely troubled by your characterization of our community. We care about providing a wonderful experience for our residents and it's disheartening to know you hold such a poor opinion of your stay with us. Please reach out to our team so we can address any maintenance concerns, answer any questions you have regarding the policies stated in our leasing agreement, and to discuss your suggestions for how we can improve our community moving forward. We would like nothing more than to better the experience in your home and to improve your perception of our team. We look forward to speaking with you - thank you.
I can't say enough great things about Erika and living at the Promenade!! I was there for 3 years during my transition between buying homes and enjoyed it! They did so much to relieve my stress during the home buying process!!! I was able to use the business center 24/7. It helped tremendously in the home purchase process. Erika is so caring and understanding, she has great customer service. I would highly recommend this community to Everyone! I'm beyond thankful of my smooth transition! Mary T.
We love our home here and we almost had to leave but thankfully plans have changed! We love the apartment, community and location! The team is amazing and always willing to help! Whenever something breaks (not often) they respond quickly and always take care of the problem! Our neighbors are amazing they almost all know our dog and say hi to her when they pass! And of cour the property is amazing and well maintained! We also love our mountain view?? Parking is a little rough if you get home late but we don't mind because that means other families are enjoying their home as much as we are!!!! And of course our most favorite part, the kids!! We love hearing them play outside and laugh and yell! Their conversations always bring a smile to my face!! We won't be leaving anytime soon and you shouldn't either!!! In fact you should move in and call this beautiful place home!!

Wow, we could not have asked for a better review of The Promenade at Hunters Glen! Our team strives to give each resident an amazing living experience, so we couldn't be happier to hear that we've exceeded your expectations. Also, we're thrilled to know that our convenient location as well as your neighbors have positively impacted your stay here! If there's anything we can do to better your stay here, please don't hesitate to give our office a call.
I've Lived here 3 years. I never ask for much, just routine maintenance. Recently a valve broke and My unit flooded 2-3 inches of standing water in every room, even over the carpet. It took the cleanup company 5 days to dry the carpet and padding. I asked mgr Erika to pro rate my rent 5 days for walking on soggy / moldy carpet in December. Seems fair and reasonable right? Management wouldn't discount me a dime! To add insult to injury the Regional mgr, Janeen, wouldn't return any of my calls or emails after leaving multiple messages. I suppose current residents just aren't worth the time or courtesy. I recommend this place to no friends or family because I've paid them religiously for years, and when I need them to help me out and do what's right, they don't have the decency to return my call. Very disappointing.
This place suck, don't do it. Like seriously, it's awful.
DO NOT RENT ONE OF THESE UNITS!! This place was great until the new management company took over a few weeks ago. The places are falling apart! Maintenance will leave notes for work orders saying they “fixed” the problem when nothing was done. The units have ants all over the place. The women working in the office and rude and inconsiderate. Parking is nightmare here! And if you do rent a unit, beware that if you park incorrectly or forget your parking pass, your vehicle will be towed within two hours. I would definitely wait to rent here until the new management company is gone.
My apartment "home", has the most wonderful amenities possible. From the washer and dryer in the unit, my own water heater (no cold showers here :). There is a heated pool open year round, gym and common area with Internet access. We are located perfectly in the foothill for breath taking views of the rockies and spectacular sunsets. If taking a evening walk around the lake doesnt get you, a little morning fishing will...
