Oak Park/Northwood is a traditional subdivision, complete with grid streets and homes dating back to the 1960s. Because it is an established neighborhood, giant oak trees enhance the landscape and offer shady streets and sidewalks to residents. Residents enjoy easy, fast commutes with Downtown San Antonio just 10 miles south. Other destinations directly south of Oak Park/Northwood include Fort Sam Houston Joint Base San Antonio, the University of the Incarnate Word, and the San Antonio Zoo.
Head northwest to the San Antonio International Airport and the North Star Mall. McAllister Park, also directly north of the neighborhood, features hiking trails, ball fields, and a dog park. While Oak Park/Northwood is mostly residential, you’ll find an H-E-B, Starbucks, and other businesses along Nacogdoches Road. More shopping is located just outside the neighborhood along Basse Road, including the very popular Torchy’s Tacos.

I had a door problem a few days ago. The maintenance crew arrived within an hour! I love my apartment plus the amazing people who work here at The Quarter are all so supportive and diligent at their jobs! The neighbors are all very friendly and helpful, they will reach out to you assisting in many ways!
