I love living here, this place literally has everything. Fully furnished with SEVERAL amenities, like there is no other choice for students. Especially students coming out of the dorms, these apartments PROVIDE all the furniture you need and you don't have to spend money on getting furniture.

Poor Management,Poor Maintnence, I have lived here for a year and constantly have to put in work orders and then wait for weeks to get stuff worked on. DONT LIVE HERE
I have always loved living at The Gramercy! They are so professional and nice, and they have a great maintenance staff that always gets stuff done.
This place is a joke and knowingly gives misinformation to tenants. They incentivize giving good reviews for money or prizes. Maintenance takes forever and sometimes they don't even fix the problem. The front office staff just gives you the run around when there are real concerns or ignore you completely. I've asked to speak with the general manager multiple times and have either been ignored or pushed off to someone else.
I've been part of this apartment complex for almost a year and there has been a turnover in the management. I guess corporate still can't find responsible management to run this complex. Management says one thing and then denies it later. Better to respond by email or have a recorder with you during each and every conversation. I'm not sure what roommate matching program is used to place roommates together, but it doesn't work well. The Gramercy states student apartments, but that is not always true. The first apartment set up was placing a then 21 year old with people that were 30-40 years old. Being forced out of the apartment by the older roommates, then being placed with a married couple. So now, less than a year of being here, having to move out because of dirty living conditions-roommates dog pooping inside the apartment, and the irresponsible management not acknowledging it. Don't plan on the amenities being up working or clean.
Unless you have a lawyer and roommate, don’t move into The Gramercy. I moved in after new management, so things haven’t changed. I have been forced to move out of dangerous, adverse and disgusting situations into contracts costing more than my initial sign-on. I eventually was forced from a 4 bedroom into a 2 bedroom, expecting to have 1 roommate, but moved in with a couple unbeknownst to me. Then the amenities…the coffee machine and printer don’t work half the time, and the pool is beyond disgusting. Utilities are split by the building so trying to save in your personal apartment won’t do any good. They recently held an Easter egg hunt, but there was not an egg in sight for residents. All the good events are for prospects. Once they have you under contract you become a $. I had mold in my bathroom, but the mold was not removed. Instead, caulking was used to cover barely half of what there was.
The staff ignores work orders, refused to give a tour, and was overall unprofessional. Also there have been potholes for around 2 months that have not been fixed, and continues to get worse. Maintenance is also not helpful. They make quick fix that breaks again within weeks.
I have lived here 3 years and will live here my senior year too! I recommend this place to my friends and any K-State student because the improvements to the apartments have been awesome, the clubhouse is really the best in MHK and the office staff and maintenance are so nice. I would say that I was worried about the distance to campus before I moved in but I take their free shuttle to campus and sometimes even ride my bike. Either way I just don't think there is a better place.
