Property Ratings at The Rail at Red Bank
I have been living at The Rail for over two years now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience here. The apartment complex is exceptionally well-maintained, with beautiful landscaping and clean common areas. One of the things I appreciate most is the range of amenities available. The gym is well-equipped and never too crowded, making it easy to keep up with my fitness routine. The lounge area is a fantastic place to relax and unwind during the weekends. The management team is outstanding, specifically Sonya! Any maintenance requests I have made were addressed promptly, often within the same day. The staff are always friendly and willing to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I also love the sense of community here. There are regular social events that provide great opportunities to meet neighbors and make friends. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transportation, shopping centers, and restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend The Rail to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and friendly place to live. It's a wonderful community for families, young professionals, and anyone who values quality living.
Property Manager at The Rail at Red Bank, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your kind words! We are pleased to provide an exceptional living experience for you at The Rail at Red Bank!
We moved in late 2022 into what was billed as a “luxury building”, that moniker has not aged well. Aside from the two maintenance employees and one employee running the leasing office it has been a laughable experience. Only good I can say is that the three aforementioned employees are good at their jobs and frankly the building would be even more of a joke without them. Amenities are not open, it is April 24th 2023 and the outdoor spaces with grills are closed. Paid ~$500 for this at the start of the lease. Clearly just a money grab. Finishes in the apartment themselves look nice but are clearly the cheapest money could buy. Closets aren’t actual closets as they did not install any storage solutions. Rather they are storage rooms with a single wire rack in it. This makes them very inefficient. Door frames are already showing cracks as they are made out of cheap wood and would not stand up to any type of break in attempt. Taking out garbage and more so recycling is comical. You have to drop off cardboard in the corner of a parking garage which is only accessible from one side of the building. Can clearly hear things outside of the apartment because the doors they installed are very cheap, think people walking by in hallway, dog barking, etc. Dishwasher is clearly the cheapest model you could buy, same with fridge and stove. Shower floor is plastic with plastic drain. It is somewhat shocking that Denzhold would put their name on something like this right by their home offices. It is laughable at how many corners were clearly cut in the building process and then they want to charge Jersey City luxury prices. If the apartments themselves were actually nicely build then it would not be an issue, but they are not and the building will likely fall into a state of constant repair/disrepair within 3-5 years, if not sooner. Right by the train station is a plus but the positives do not outweigh the negatives here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
