Not to be confused with Northeast Philadelphia, North Philadelphia East encompasses the smaller subsets of Ludlow, Yorktown, West Kensington, Poplar, and Callowhill. This composite area runs from the Vine Street Expressway, stretching north to Erie Avenue. Broad Street acts as its eastern border, and the western edge runs a jagged line separating North Philadelphia East from the nearby Kensington, Port Richmond, and Fishtown neighborhoods. With such a long stretch of city, the neighborhood offers a diverse blend of important city landmarks, such as renowned musical venues the Electric Factory and Union Transfer, and Temple University, North Philadelphia's premiere site of higher learning.

Property Ratings at The Rally
I’ve lived in this so-called “luxury” apartment building for a few months now, and honestly, it’s been nothing short of a disappointment. Despite paying premium rent, this place has been a constant letdown in every way. For starters, there is always a cleaner, cleaning common areas – but don’t be fooled. The common areas are ALWAYS dirty. It’s shocking considering they advertise “premium living,” but it’s clear that cleaning is either never done or done poorly. The elevators are another ongoing issue. They are constantly out of order, and when they don't work, there’s no sense of urgency from management to fix them. For a “luxury” building, that’s just unacceptable. Move-in day was a nightmare. Not only was my apartment not cleaned as promised, but there was food left in the fridge and trash bags throughout the apartment. I had to spend hours cleaning up before I could even settle in, after we had to wait hours for a "code" just to move in. This building is only a year old, but it already feels like it’s been neglected. The management has zero pride in keeping it up. If you’re looking for something new and well-maintained, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The only redeeming quality here is the maintenance person, who is honestly the nicest and most helpful person I’ve met in the building. But unfortunately, even he can’t make up for the poor management and lack of care that defines this place. Save yourself the frustration and don’t fall for the “luxury” label. This building is a waste of money.
I cannot recommend The Rally and Brick Management based on my experience and the experience of my neighbors. The apartment falls short of expectations for quality and luxury living. Since moving in, I've faced multiple issues with communication and management, including being locked out of my apartment and receiving little to no response when seeking help. For the past two months, I've been without central air conditioning during several heat waves. Despite being provided with two portable air conditioners, they have proven ineffective, leaving the apartment dangerously hot (check out the google review I posted with photos of my apartment at 96 degrees with the air conditioners running. Initially, I received a $200 credit, followed by an additional $300 after multiple inquiries, but this amount falls short compared to the $700 credits given to other residents facing similar issues. The management's unwillingness to offer further concessions or address the problem adequately, along with a series of excuses, demonstrates poor business practices. Overall, the cleanliness of the building is lacking, and the management's disregard for resident well-being is evident. They have only sent out messages regarding residents cleaning after themselves and their animals after me and a few other residents contacted them numerous times to address it. I strongly advise considering other options. DO NOT RENT HERE!
I just moved into The Rally a few weeks ago and unfortunately it has missed the mark for me at this point. They promised a lot of amenities that would be available (such as a roof deck with a dog park) but they haven’t even begun construction on it. The elevators do not work, the parking garage isn’t operational, mailboxes are broken, and there is construction still occurring with loud noises. Additionally, they verbally told me about a one-month free promotion but were promoting two free months online. When inquiring with the management team (which was initially unresponsive), they told me they would not be able to honor the two months. The apartment itself has nice finishes but a lot of what I was “sold” on is not even available for use.
