Property Ratings at The Regent Palm Desert Apartment Homes
Maintenance men smoke and litter cigarettes in the middle of the property near the main pool area. The pools and jacuzzis are filthy and the whole property is cockroach infested. All of these are mild issues compared to the management, both The Regent and the parent company Cannon Management.

Hello Juan, At The Regent at Palm Desert, we strive to provide a comfortable and clean community for all residents, however, that doesn't seem to reflect in your experience. Our manager has followed up with the staff and confirmed that our staff does not smoke cigarettes. We encourage you to call the office so we can look further into the issues mentioned in your review! The Regent at Palm Desert Team
Rent has been increased but pools and other amenities have been closed for over a year with no actual plan to re-open them. Lots of new tenants moving in that are a special breed of losers - be ready to be woken up all night long hearing drunken fights between couples, dogs of all breeds barking non-stop (even though there is supposed to be ban on bully breeds, you'll see dobermans, rotties, pitties, etc.), people parking in fire zones whenever they feel like it. Our bikes got stolen almost immediately after we brought them here. Takes months to fix problems in the unit if $$ is required to be spend by Cannon. This place has turned into a shithole in the 2 years I've lived here. Sad because it used to be a decent place.

We strive to provide excellent customer service and a comfortable community for all of our residents, however, we apologize that this may not be reflected in your experience. The Regent has recently sent out a letter to all of our residents regarding our pool opening on 4/30/21. We do have breed restrictions in place, however, a handful of our residents do have service animals. We are so sorry to hear about your bike, please call the office at your earliest convenience so we can file an incident report. In regards to maintenance requests, we make it a priority to attend to work orders within 24 to 48 hours, and all emergency orders are handled right away. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your concerns further, please don't hesitate to reach out to the office. The Regent Palm Desert Team
I'm a fun, yet mature-ish, local professional and made the decision to move to The Regent due to the beauty of the premises and size of the apartments. My experience with management has been nothing but positive and professional. From my move in inspection of the apartment before signing the lease- Manager Jessica was thorough and detailed and attentive to every little nuance in the apartment so that it's in the best working order upon move in. Having lived here 4 months now, things pop up as they would in any home. A flicker/fault of my fan's functionality- it's fixed that day. The soap holder lid to my dishwasher broke- repaired that day. Management is attentive to its tenants. The pools are sparkly and blue. The grills are a pleasant addition. Tennis courts and put put course if that's your jam. Fountains and citrus trees around the grounds- you might catch me knocking down lemons for my evening cocktail. When friends come and visit- they feel like they're at a resort. Quite simply- if you follow the guidelines set forth by an apartment complex and your lease, you'll have a good relationship and experience here. If you're kind, you'll get kind back. I really appreciate that The Regent's management cares about the grounds, cares about me breaking the rules and letting my dog run amuck for 15 minutes in the evening- and tells me so, cares that residents and kids aren't too loud and disrespectful so the rest of us can live in a retreat and, cares about how we keep the appearance of our balconies etc. The low reviews of this place are surprising to me. My experience has been awesome.

Thank you SO much for the glowing review and recommendation! We absolutely thrilled to hear you're loving life at The Regent Palm Desert and taking advantage of everything our fabulous community has to offer. We truly appreciate your kind words!! We're grateful to have you as a resident, and we hope you continue to stay with us for many years to come!
I been here two years, sad i have to leave because of a new job. Angie, the property manager is great, so as chuck and petty. Super professional and very nice. The pools area is always clean, the hot tub is always hot and clean, no bugs in the the apartment, grills are always working and they grill great, landscaping people are always on top of it. parking is great, tennis light are always working. If you are new to the area this is the best complex in palm desert for the money, you are in the middle of everything and close to everything, 4 mints from the I10. The middle school my daughter goes too is great and she learns a lot. The only thing bad about this place is that i have to leave it and lose all my great neighbors and the memories at the big pool area. oh one last thing the maintenance people come the same day if not the next day and they fix things right. The also put washers and dries in all the apartments and they are currently remodeling the whole entire main pool area, it will be a hot spot in the summer, I will miss this place.
The sands of the California desert engulf me with pleasure. The weather in the desert is perfect; the sun shines his light on the Coachella Valley for eleven and a half months a year. Mourning-Doves wake me out of my sleep, Ravens and Hummingbirds fly so free around the picturesque views of the mountains that surround me. I am living in the moment in my oasis!
I have lived in this apartment community for almost a year now and I have had a very happy, pleasant experience! This complex is located in the heart of Palm Desert and it only a walk away from restaurants and grocery stores as well as several coffee shops! We have a work-out room and several big swimming pools. People never move in and out.. the neighbors that were here when I first moved in are still here and most have been for several years.. I can honestly say it feels more like a condo then an apartment! The staff in the main lobby are like family and are always very attentive to whatever needs or questions you have. We also have full time security. We have never had any problems with people while living here. My only request is it'd be great to have a washer and dryer in the apartment instead of a laundry room! Over-all I am very happy to say I have the privilege of living at The Regent in Palm Desert CA!
its a great apartment complex, the pool area is beautiful and the gym area is just right for a nice light workout. the maintenance team is great, they work a little early but hey the job needs to get done. the one thing I would like for them to change is our rent price its pricey, also for how much my boyfriend and I pay I would like better washer and driers that didn't cost so much to use.
