Bordered by the Rio Grande and the Mexican border, Mission is one of four towns that make up the border county of Hildago. Considered one of the nation's fastest-growing cities, Mission is a major citrus producer -- it is even nicknamed the "Home of the Ruby Red Grapefruit." It is also home to the Texas Citrus Exchange and the Texas Citrus Fiesta Parade.
Mission provides some fantastic parks. Anzalduas Park, located along a bend in the Rio Grande, covers 96 acres and is a bird sanctuary. It also features a playground and picnic areas. With Mexico just four miles away, residents can cross into the country via the Anzalduas International Bridge to visit the city of Reynosa. Other destinations in Mission include the World Birding Center, the National Butterfly Center, the Mission Historical Museum, Shary Municipal Golf Course, and Mountain Bike Park.

Property Ratings at The Reserve at Cimarron
I consistently experienced the best residential support services at the Reserve at Cimarron. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful :). When I rarely needed to submit a maintenance request, I had received a prompt response. Whether it was replacing/removing furniture, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, maintenance quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment. I intend to continue renting from Cimarron if needed, and I strongly recommend their properties to anyone in the area. In some ways, a property management company can make or break your living experience and at The Reserve at Cimarron, i received the best service. I couldn’t be happier! Thank you.

Lived there for two years , left then returned for almost 10 years . I left again for work but the property is well taken care of , maintenance staff great, management great, location ideal . Only thing negative is there’s no speed bumps and it floods but not a deal breaker

I love my apartment! They did such a great job getting it ready for me. The process to get approved was very smooth . I called Ericka like 100 times with questions and she was always with an awesome attitude, always very helpful and had all the answers I needed. The staff is very friendly and that made me feel welcomed. The location is great, it’s close to everything I need! I did search about 5 other places, but I’m glad I picked this one. 5*

We have rented here for a year, and love it here! The complex is peaceful and cozy, staff is awesome, and location is on point! The pool and playground are a huge plus, if u have little ones that love the water :) maintenance is great too, they respond efficiently to work orders and are polite, even take the time to explain what's going on. Renewing another year here! - Sarah

Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are glad that you and you family love calling The Reserve at Cimarron home, our dedicated staff will be pleased to learn of your high praise. They work very diligently and it will provide them with great encouragement to keep doing what they are doing. Thank you, once again, for your kind words.
Apartments are nice but administration took 8 months to fix to broken fans and with used ones from other apartment units. Roaches are a problem as well. We're very clean, wash dishes and leave everything very dry daily, no food outside the fridge etc.. So I know it is not us. I'm not hating, I have plenty of pictures to show. The staff are oddly apologetic and nice but they never fix anything. The excuse with the fans was that they were waiting to receive new fans... blah blah blah... went in for 8 months and finally they were replaced with used fans... Again, they're nice and very apologetic but inefficient, and there are roaches. If you live in the valley you know 8 months without a fan is plain cruel.
Worth stopping by and checking this property out. We will be renting here this upcoming year.
We've been living 2 year... We are completely satisfied living in this apartment Nice management, quite, very good location everything very close We renew again for 1 more year contract
Nice location a little small but good . First floor ceiling to low second floor very good .
I myself have lived here for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. The grounds are always maintained and apartments are spacious. The office staff is always helpful and professional. Check The Reserve out... I'm sure you will want to live here too.
The apartment has a decent layout and a private washer and dryer which is convenient. No issues with the space itself, the issues lie with the property management. There is no regulation of children running around screaming and cars blasting music during all hours of the day and night. There is no respect for privacy. Inspectors came in whenever they wanted without permission and at one point came in the apartment while I was showering. Thankfully, I was able to wake my boyfriend up and he made them leave. Our apartment was not cleaned before we moved in and after talking to neighbors neither were theirs. After moving in we found a huge whole in our bathtub, which they tried to blame on us and should have been replaced before we moved in. Wasn't fixed for more than 4 months and the work done looked terrible. Apparently there was also damage to the microwave which we didn't notice at move in, and is now being taken from our security deposit. There is no maintenance or cleaning done between tenants even though they take whatever they want from your security deposit on move out to cover those expenses. The whole process is a scam. I have lived in more than 5 different apartment complexes and always received my full deposit back. There are apartments just as nice and with double the space available near downtown McAllen and Edinburg with out all the hassle at similar or lower cost.
