Convenience describes Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga in San Bernardino County. Found 42 miles east of Los Angeles, this Inland Empire region falls where Interstates 10 and 15 intersect. The area locals simply call "Cucamonga" or "Rancho" rests northeast from its neighbor, Ontario.
Ontario and Cucamonga residents enjoy two major malls, multiple parks and contemporary houses. You find numerous restaurants at every turn, along with heavy-hitter retail stores such as Bass Pro Shops for outdoor enthusiasts.
The flat terrain makes nice cycling routes, with the San Gabriel Mountains in the backdrop. Singles and families have ample choices for entertainment in this neighborhood, making it a popular hangout year-round.

Property Ratings at The Reserve at Empire Lakes
First off let me start by saying I wouldn't wish a living situation like this upon my worst enemy. I'm a current resident and my lease is almost up (thank goodness). This place looks nice from the outside/in but it is far from that. In the course of 11 months the mailroom has been broken into 3 times, multiple vehicle break ins, garage break ins and countless complaints about intruders trying to open doors in the middle of the night. This place doesn't have a single camera outside of the main office/mailroom. They are more concerned about towing cars, when there are 4 guest parking spots total in the whole community. They claim to be a safe residency since it is so close to the police station, but that's obviously not the case. As for the security cars that drive around once a month, good luck with their help. They are half asleep/on their phone just collecting a check. I chose an apartment on the 3rd story to try and avoid loud neighbors above me but instead I got stuck with extremely loud neighbors below me. I know what you're thinking.. "how can you hear your neighbors below you??". I'll tell you why, this place has no insulation in the walls. I have dealt with this for 11 months straight, listening to my neighbors run back and forth every single day until the time I fall asleep and then as soon as i'm home from work. I complained about my neighbors at least 15 times over the past 6 months and I received absolutely NO help. I spoke with 4 different employees including the main manager. The last employee I spoke with actually asked if he could come sit in my apartment with me to hear for himself. In the middle of a global pandemic, he wanted to come sit in my apartment because my word wasn't good enough after calling every week. After he sat there for about 30 minutes and listened to my obnoxious neighbors I was told "this is just apartment living for you, it's the way it is". To top things off, my apartment is closer to the main street and anytime a semi truck drives by the whole apartment shakes.. and not just a tiny shake. It feels like an earthquake. From that point on I knew this place didn't care the slightest bit about my uncomfortable living situation. All of the employees in the leasing office come off as nice and helpful but once you sign your lease, good luck with any issues beyond that point. I'm trying to save the next person or family from the horrible experience I had here at this apartment complex.
Since I’ve moved in February 2020, they’ve been nice to my family and I. The Mr RAUL alway responses quickly and fixed things in the apartment. Am glad that I’ve chosen this place. Thank you
The office staff is awesome. The area is great. The apartment is spacious and neighbors are friendly. If they didnt hit me with rent increase, I wouldve renewed my lease!
Considering most apartments are over 1,000 . This unit gives great value in return . I just started my new job and even though it'll it may be a little pricey for me I think it's worth it because it's a well kept aparment and it's close to la / oc/SB county
It's a great location you have the Ontario Mills right across the street, movies which is great me and my children just walk to it. And it's great because my children's school is only a few locks way. Really everything you need is with a 1mile radius of you home.
I've rented for a few years now and never have felt a sense of it being a home! The Reserves is an awesome place to live! Everything is walking distance including resturaunts and the Ontario Mills! Perfectly placed in the middle of everything! The Reserves at Empire Lakes makes you feel at home! They have activities for the whole complex from meet and greets, garage sales, cooking classes in the banquet room, wine tasting and much more! They almost everything week have a new vendor parked outside of the main office for us with amazing food and tasty treats!! Their customer service and maintenance are outstanding! Never have had any issues! We love it here!!!
I recently became the proud renter of a three bedroom two bath apartment at the Reserve at Empire Lakes which I found on apartments.com. My apartment is on the ideal location; walking distance from the mall, plenty of restaurants, and two minutes from my job! The complex is ideal for a variety of renters. Clean, quiet, and had great amenities. If ask the nearby apartment complexes this one had the most comprehensive set up. In addition to that renters become a part of the Lewis Community and can easily transfer between any of their gorgeous communities around the country. On top of that you also area eligible for Equity Perks! The staff is friendly and helpful, the apartments come with an the appliances, and the maintenance is great especially for me coming from a rental home where I had to fix everything. This is my new home and I love the price. If there is a drawback I haven't found it yet.
Beautiful location near the best shopping in the Inland Empire, Ontario.
Location is perfect for commuters, close to 10 and 15 Freeways. Staff is always busy showing prospective tenants around, but not available to help current tenants with problems and manager doesn't want to be bothered. Amenities have degraded; business center is poorly lacking, and video entertainment and pool table rooms require hefty deposits. They will not invest back into upgrading the apartments or keeping them safer.
