Property Ratings at The Reserve at Saluki Pointe
I lived here the past year. Despite the rent being fair I was handed a unit with dirty carpets and the vinyl flooring was a trip hazard. All right it was replaced within three months of my move in date. Steer clear of management
Been living here for over a year now and to be honest it is horrible. The buildings on the outside look nice and so do the apartments for the most part but the hallways on the inside and the windows look atrocious. Dirt, dust, and cobwebs are all over the place and there has been little to no attempt to clean any of the 20 some buildings they have. Recently since a new management took over the keys for the building have had reliability issues and sometimes you can get into your building and 5 mins later you take your dog out side key doesn’t work anymore and if it happens after the office is closed they charge you a fee to come and reprogram a new one for a issue people have complained about. Sometimes they last a month if you’re lucky but most of the time they only last 4-9 days it seems on average to me. I have been to the office countless times now for this same issue and the best part is some of the keys they have fall apart because of poor quality. Maintenance I would say is spotty. Sometimes they get on an issue you report right away other times you could wait a more than a couple days upwards of a week to get a response. The other thing is if you have a bunch of issues you sometimes will have multiple maintenance guys show up for an issue that a guy 20-40 mins ago came and fix already. I would not recommend renting at The Reserve to any college students I would highly suggest finding another alternative place to rent since it is very obvious that they for the most part do not care for there renters and even if the management read this review they would change a couple things but guaranteed that in a month or so they will go back to how they were previously because that’s how it sadly works.

We are sorry to hear about your issues. The key issue has been an issue before new management took over and unfortunately there is no simple solution. The only real fix is to replace the entire system which is a very long process. We can say officially that we are doing so but it will take some time to get completed. The Reserve, and management, absolutely do care about the residents despite how poorly the property was taken care of and managed prior. Many things are a work in progress and all we can say is we are doing everything we can to make the Reserve a great place to live.
While the apartments look nice, there are mice and hallways are disgusting. The people who work in the main lobby are terribly rude for no reason. My roommate has been getting charged double rent for months and the head of financial services flat out ignores her. DO NOT LIVE HERE
Property Manager at The Reserve at Saluki Pointe, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear about your issues. We can't resolve any problems if we don't know they exist. If your roommate was accidentally charged double rent, we would have no issues removing any duplicate charges. We don't have a "head of financial services" but if someone didn't remove those charges in a timely manner, it was not intentional.
I have lived here for almost three years and I have loved it. Floor plans are big, a lot of amenities included with rent, and the staff is always helpful with whatever I need.
The reserves is such an amazing place to live! You get so much for your money. Not only is the apartment complex itself super nice , it's a gated complex, it has a clubhouse full of great stuff like a movie theatre, gym, and tanning bed, and it is so cozy and feels just like home. It was the best choice i made for my first apartment!
