Property Ratings at The Reserve at Sandstone Ranch
My family and I have lived here since July of 2022. We love the apartment, the suprisingly clean and well maintained facilities and grounds, especially in light of so many residents and pet owners. Between July of 2022 and approximately December of 2022 the automatic gates (there are 2 pairs) were non-functional and were left open - and that was a good thing. In the past 6-8 weeks a lot of maintenance has been done, including repair of the automatic gates. Three nights ago, I was leaving the apartment complex through the back gates to turn left onto Marcus Uribe Drive. The gates have a sensor to open when you pull up slowly to them. However, when you pass the first sensor and you pull forward during rush hour to turn left, I learned there is no secondary sensor to tell the gates to remain open. Allegedly the gates are timed for one car to leave at a time. Well, the gates closed on my car causing damage. I immediately called the leasing office and shared my story. The lady informed me that the signs they have up clear them of liability and the apartment complex is not responsible. I'm currently speaking with my insurance company about this. LAST night, I witnessed a gorgeous sports car barely escaping from getting caught in the gates. Neither the front nor back gate have secondary sensors to remain open when an automobile or a child on a bicycle is riding through them- but hey - the apartment isn't liable for damages so who cares.
This place is a great place to live at. I love the different events, they put on for the residents. As well as the many amenities they offer such as a gym, pool, and in-unit washer and dryer. The only issue with the gym is that it is kind of small. But you are still able to get a good workout in. Another I like about this apartment is the maintenance response is fast.
just nowNEW They were the worst apartment complex I've ever lived at. They screwed us over multiple times and didn't care. The maintenance guys came in whenever and left our door unlocked and open while we were out of town. Luckily a friend noticed this and closed the door and we contacted management and asked them to lock it. They said they would, we returned to the door still unlocked. I think they enjoy screwing over military families. My clicker for the gate stopped working and they never fixed it or gave me a new one, but I guess it didn't matter since the gates never worked. They also made us move out before we agreed on a date because they already had people moving in two days later. If I could give them zero stars I would. Please do not live here especially if you're military. They don't care about you or your stuff. Save yourself and find another place. Absolutely horrible management as well.
I have been living at The Reserve at Sandstone Ranch for about 3 Months now and so far it has surpassed all my apartment living expectations. From how quiet the community is to the friendly neighbors and staff I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
These apartments where my husband and I 1st home! I love the staff that help us. Moving was easy When my husband and I wanted to on the 1st floor that was a easy transition. Would highly recommend these apartments to anyone .
When I performed the move inspection reality hit. Cheap construcion materials. From dangling closet doors to wholes in the walls. Stairway is disgusting. only been here a year and the the deterioration is evident. Definitely moving out.
BEWARE OF THIS LANDLORD!!? I take great pride in keeping a very clean house. So when I recently moved out of my apartment, I was looking forward to getting back my $250 Cleaning Deposit Much to my surprise, not only did I not get a refund, I was sent an invoice for an additional $40 to cover the clean up costs. I took photos of my apartment before I left and there. NO WAY there was $290 worth of cleaning that needed to be done inside my old apartment. The carpets were vacuumed and the hardwood floors were swept so clean you could eat off of them! The bathroom was better than any hotel room you have checked into and the whole apartment was ready to be moved into the day we left. But they tried to tell me that it cost $290 to dust the windows and remove a stain from inside the kitchen cabinet?!?! NO WAY!!! Be Careful if you rent from this Landlord. This Landlord is a rip off artist and should not be trusted!
When we first moved in last October,The manager at the time,Todd, was wonderful.The most current manager, Cindy, has made this place go downhill so fast. The management will now walk into your apartment unannounced, charge you ridiculous amounts for simple things (other friends got charged $20 for a cardboard box on their patio due to just moving),they will lie to your face and change their story when you confront them about the issue after I had to go to corporate (multiple times might I add).I had to get a service dog due to a medical condition and they tried to charge me $975 for the "new" deposit rate even though I was on the old management lease with a WAY lower pet deposit and with a service dog, they can't charge you a pet deposit. It took them 2 months to clear this up and in the mean time, every day I would be charged more and more for a late fee which took forever to get off. They then tried to evict me because of my service dog which is 100% illegal and after I went to corporate, they agreed to just "terminate my lease whenever I wanted" since what they tried to do was illegal and I had to threaten to take them to court. I got a call from the manager, Cindy, informing me that people in the apartment complex found my husband intimidating and the only reason that we weren't evicted is because he hasn't actually done anything to anyone but people did feel threatened so we better watch it because we are being watched. Pictures were being taken of us and I was feeling paranoid and being stalked by the workers here.I have been to corporate multiple times, due to issues that Cindy was blaming on them, and when I go up there, they said they had never even heard of the issue.They are extremely money hungry and target all animals.All extra charges are now due to dogs digging holes, or dogs off leash, or not picking up feces, or workers feeling threatened by the animals".They would shut down the pools because someone would take their dog in there. One person would do that and they would take away an amenity that everyone there paid for and signed for.Theres bigger issues to worry about such as people speeding, going at least 30 mph in the parking lots, Ive almost gotten hit multiple times.People who don't live here using the pool and other amenities, people throwing parties and taking up all parking spots so I had to park blocks away from my apartment, list goes on.I would not recommend it to anyone
theirManagement is there to serve you , for the first 2 weeks Doors aren't always open staff aren't always avialable during hours The property has cameras to insure you pick up dog poo and dont accidentally miss the garbage bins.fines plenty of sidewalks, they end abruptly into rocks or concrete, youre welcome to walk around the cars at every corner wont always be room to push your stroller on sidewalks because cars love to park thier back and front ends as close as possble If you would like to leave the property you can walk in the car lane, the walk through gate is padlocked fill out maintinenace forms when you move in so so you don't get charged when you leave. experience a backround check/credit check so that they may judge you based off your past (for resident safety) and it allows for more fees so that the reserve is motivated to trust you Preffered tenants include miitary/medical, they find it profitable to collect deposits from military because they are moving constantly.The reserve has off duty police as couresty officers so that you may be baby sat, questioed/watched past 8, for your safety! You can sit by the pool or on a bench in patches of grass here and there so you can watch dogs do there business and the surrounding residents watch from their windows, no privacy The reserve doesnt appreciate you to have things on your porch, we care about how we look to future residents so keep as much as possible inside your house, chairs are OK. up to three levels, bottom two levels have soothing sound of water falling down the pipes of the thin walls. cancel your service providers and make sure you have good credit so that you can enjoy tv/internet through att/dish network, nobody else. Please do not expect the reserve to keep verbal agreements, all agreements to be honored need to be in writing no matter how friendly staff may seem. location is in developing area so crickets and cockroaches enjoy the property when it is dark flies to are prevelant due to dumpsters and dog poo bins. award winning good at making sure everything is perfect when special guests are expected so that they do not see how bad things are on an ordinary day. Your kids can enjoy the playground in the hot sun(no coverage) and enjoy the outdoor pool that is open for a few months, the lock to get in is a bit tricky but after a bit of a struggle you will eventually get in or somebody will open the gate for you from the inside.
The apartments have a nice multicolor facade and two level pet friendly apartments. We had a home and decided to sell the home and during the transition we became tenants to this apartments at this location. We found the apartment personel friendly and polite. They showed us all the extras the apartment had and made the apartments feel like a resort or a vacation away from home. Made my family feel special and very comfortable. We have loved living at the apartments because there is stores and businesses next to them and made if convenient to buy groceries and necessary items for the apartment as well as good food establishments. We enjoy our apartments since they have a small 6 hole putting golf course, dog park, gas grills around complex with outdoor table with chairs. Not to mention a gym open 24 hrs as well with two large pools on both sides of complex with a spa each. The apartments are ADA compliant with all the accessaries one needs for a family-washer,dryer,dishwasher,frig,oven,microwave, and marble countertop. So my family can enjoy a nice quality of life without spending a lot to do so. My main appreciation is that they have a policeman walk the grounds for security and the complex is gated in the night to protect from any possible burglary or thefts. I can feel that my family is safe and protected as much as possible. The area which the apartments are in is very nice side of town and traffic is not heavey like other parts of town. We can exit and enter very nicely usullay and with no troubles of traffic. We feel very lucky to live in these apartments as well as being respected and treated with polite and caring people. So, as for my family and myself we have been very pleased and appreciative of the Reserve at Sandstone apartments.
This is the absolute perfect place if you want the Suburb get away while still in your home town. Great amenities, Pool, 24-hr Gym, HD Theatre, Pet Park and so much more. The staff is amazing always wanting to help out when us residents need their help. This is Truly luxury living at its finest, I love it here !!
