I don't know about the old management, but the staff and maintenance has been on point any maintenance requests I've had put in was fix quickly,any concerns I had was taken care of staff is very helpful and friendly I had no problems I will be renewing my lease this year the only issue I have some time when I week late is the parking other than that I have no complaints... from tenant ...M.S

Kaylynn and Bobby were so easy to work with! They were very knowledgeable and answered every question we had! They answered in a timely fashion too. In addition , since we live out of town the FaceTime apt viewing was especially helpful and a real time saver! We looked at a number of different locations in the Columbus area BUT we found the RESERVES AT WALNUT CREEK far superior in amenities offered and at a fair price! Based on our experience we would say WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Reserves at Walnut Creek!

I have been living here for about 2+ years and have had a great experience. They care about the community amenities in maintaining them clean and also are prompt in answering questions and are super friendly and welcoming. They answer to maintenance issues and complaints also very promptly. Appreciate the property managers one site! Their work encouraged me to sign for another year.

My husband and I have been living here since last year, we’re older and recently retired. We really enjoy the amenities, it’s like living on a nice resort. The staff is very professional, friendly and respond quickly to our needs.

When Champion Company took over this apartment complex improved tremendously. Maintenance requests get addressed right away and the maintenance persons are always nice and accommodating. Perfect location New office staff friendly and actually helpful and they always answer the phone. They go above and beyond. Cons are that the walls are thin, you can hear people going up and down the stairs all day. lack of parking spaces.

I'm not sure what the reviews are about snakes and bugs, unless people have filthy apartments. My family and I love it here. The pool has been open since April and still is mid/end of September, the office staff does fun stuff like pool parties, community movie days, and food trucks... We LOVE the office staff and maintenance. They are nice, friendly and professional. Property is clean and apartments well maintained, super close to Easton and highways... And the carpet is awesome. It's thick and plush, not like typical apartment junk carpet. By far best apartment we've ever lived in!

I was in search of an apartment that I could move into the first week of April that still offered the amenities I was looking for. I stumbled upon the Reserve at Walnut Creek and gave them a call. The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. They helped me find a wonderful apartment and even helped me move in early as my apartment at the time needed me out by the first week of April. The staff helped me smoothly through the application and move in process. I am so happy with my decision to make this place my new home!

I have lived here for two years. And I have to say the new management is wonderful. They are definitely listening to our concerns and addressing them. Everytime I have had a question they are so quick to answer and are so kind. The parking is really the main thing that can get annoying. It's people who want to park against the curb and block the street just because they don't want to park a little farther from their apartment. But management has been addressing this and it's nice to know that we are heard by them.

Living at the Reserve at Walnut Creek was interesting to say the least. The phrase “Don’t judge a book by its cover” can definitely apply to the outside appearance of the complex and rent rate, but is deceiving once you are immersed. For starters, not a lot of thought was considered for parking accommodations. Maneuvering your vehicle with the small space allotted is a challenge of itself. You might also wake up to numerous scratches and dents appearing the next day on your car with no security, video evidence or sympathy provided by the management office. Please be aware that management knows bugs are an issue during the early fall season, so when addressed, you will receive little to no response for this complaint. The most alarming aspect of living at the Reserve at Walnut Creek is the Management Office. It is hard to get in contact with the staff for questions and concerns as they are scarce on providing necessary updates. For example, we were notified that the pool would be open in late June due to COVID-19. However, the pool has remained closed as of mid-September 2020, with no updates since then. Hopefully, by the time you move in, the apartment complex next door will be built. It may come as no surprise, but we received no communication that a new complex and construction would be underway for several months on end. This resulted in some early mornings waking up to construction and loud music. Another factor to consider is where you are placed in the complex. It can be like roulette, depending if you hear neighbors screaming in the parking lot at night, hear gun shots in the distance or smell the lingering odor of weed. As much as we hoped to leave a positive review, we feel responsible to communicate our concerns.
This community has horrible parking and unsafe. I have addressed parking issues with management multiple times and they have not taken steps to correct the issues. On-Site management deflects conversations to corporate and corporate responds in a negative matter. A lot of the residents have voiced similar concerns. I came home from work one night and there was no parking in the entire complex. I had to wait 25 minutes until someone left to hurry and grab their spot. For the price that you pay to live in this complex with paper thin walls, you should at least have a safe place to park. We are also backed up against a wooded area and there isn't good lighting to walk from your car to your home.
Management personnel deals carefully before signing up the lease. Once you sign, you will get to see true colors. They are rude and got very bad attitude. There are lot of snakes around the apartment. We are seeing at least one a week.When complained about it, they say they can't do much about it. swimming pool is junk. It has been closed by authorities every now and then. Use the swimming pool if you really want to get sick.
This place is honestly not worth the price. When I first moved in I was given a mailbox key that didn't go to the assigned mailbox. Pretty sure it has been mixed up with the post office because they deliver my mail to the wrong location all the time. The residents here are so loud. It seems like on all sides of my apartment the residents are blasting music until about 2am every night. I've had to report a noise complaint to the police many times but good luck trying to get them there anytime soon. Literally takes them like 3 hours to show up. The apartment gym is complete trash. From what I understand, this complex was built in 2014 but every single piece of equipment in the gym is broken. The machines have shredded cables (major safety issue)the treadmills squeak non stop, everything else seems to be missing a chunks of itself. But the absolute worst thing about this place is the trash compactor is ALWAYS BROKE. This causes it to be over stuffed and eventually the trash makes its way onto the sidewalk. Probably every other week you'll walk out to see dozens of trash bags on the sidewalk. You can literally smell it throughout the entire complex.
I've lived here 3 mos and I don't recommend this place anyone what so ever! The construction may be appealing however the floors and walls are paper thin and you are able to hear the neighbors every move. This is the recipe for a disruptive environment that makes it unpleasant and not a peaceful place to live with the neighbors. Do yourself a favor a ask for a list of the type of complaints the property manager gets from the tenants and check the public record of police reports filed. Ask the property manager what they have done to resolve the tenants complaints. Do your research before you move here and take your money elsewhere
We moved into a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment mid-May. It was great upon arrival. However, we had some electrical issues resulting from the breaker not being set correctly, and some light bulbs not being provided, which the maintenance team quickly fixed. Our closet by the front door does not open. We were told that our washer and dryer would be ready when we moved in, but we did not get it for 4 weeks, and once we did, the maintenance man left the instruction manual inside when he turned it on. The apartment itself is very nice. Everything is new, so there are no weird stains from previous owners or anything like that. The cabinets in the kitchen are very small, but you can rig up some extra space in the pantry/water heater area. The fan is set to run full time in the bathroom as well. The grounds are very well kept. The pool is nice and the deck area is always clean. The gym is stocked with typical machines, and they now offer a weekly class. It is an extremely pet friendly community.
