Located in southeastern Pennsylvania on the Schuylkill River, Reading sits about halfway between Harrisburg and Philadelphia. Nicknamed the Pretzel City for its numerous local pretzel bakeries, Reading is home to an array of independent businesses, many of which line Penn Street in Downtown Reading and Penn Avenue in West Reading.
Among Reading’s many vibrant attractions are GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, Reading Public Museum, Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, the Pagoda, and FirstEnergy Stadium—home of the minor-league Reading Fightin Phils. Opportunities for outdoor adventure abound, with a host of scenic parks and more than 125 miles of biking and hiking trails in Greater Reading.

Property Ratings at The Reserve at Wyomissing
There have been at least four apartment managers since Larken took over. This used to be a wonderful place to live before Larken bought this complex. The maintenance man, Mike is outstanding. He was here before Larken arrived. The new apartment managers they have had don't seem very professional. They don't care about complaints from tenants. I have heard many of my neighbors have the very same complaint. The old owners would only raise the rent in $15 increments. We just got large rent increase and things have only gotten worse since Larken took over. They began charging utility fees also. They seem to spend money on superfluous things like putting candy in the lobby. I notice the smell of marijuana all over the building and even outside. Delivery packages are stolen. There is loud music late at night too. I even talked to a man that lives next to the apartments and he said the music was so loud it kept him from sleeping. The place has become cold and impersonal. Management is very unprofessional.
