Property Ratings at The Residence at Turnberry
My Daughter rented her 1st apartment here after having the worst experience at two other places. Rachel, in the office, put our concerns at ease. She kept in touch with both of us through the application process, was honest (which is hard to find nowadays), didnt take advantage of my daughter not knowing the process and was easily available to answer questions as needed. The process was easy and the apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, close to everything and has a serene landscape. We couldnt be happier with our experience, with Rachel and with the apartment. Highly recommend!!!!

My husband and I went to look into the Warwick townhome. The office ladies were extremely nice. The townhome was VERY spacious, a little outdated however tons of space. Once we were done looking at the townhome we then went back into the office and discuss pricing. My husband & I wanted to continue to look and weight our options. After about 5-7 days we decided to go forward with Residence at Turnberry. We filled our application out and submitted it. The next day I went into the office to submit my paystubs to find out the pricing that I was initially quoted was totally different by over $100. I asked about it. I went home discuss with my husband & we weren't happy. Later that night I went back online and found pricing different again which was cheaper then what I seen in the office. Not to mention they didn't tell my the pricing was gonna be different I seen in on my folder, when they went to place my paystubs inside, so I was disappointed that they did not advise me. I then emailed them about the pricing asking why it changed and if I could get the cheaper pricing I seen. I was told that unfortunately they could only hold a unit for 2weeks and that the reason I was unable to get the initial pricing is because I had to accept & apply that very day (which we weren't told about). I then explained how was that possible being that they could only hold for 2weeks and I couldn't move until my lease was out which was well over 2weeks so that didn't make any sense. No response on that however I was told they would check with regional manager and get back with me & that they didn't expect pricing to go up that much either. The next day I received an email stating that unfortunately they couldn't adjust the pricing unless I moved sooner. I'm currently in a lease and couldn't do that. I then asked about more townhomes on their website which was cheaper online then the price quoted. I was then told that once again they can only hold for 2weeks & that the home would be ready sooner than two weeks which still makes NO SENSE to me being that I couldn't move until after my lease, however if I would have applied the initial day they would have gave me the initial price I was quoted on top of holding the townhome over 2months. I also, spoke to the regional manager who told me prices go up daily & that its just like gas prices HA! that was a joke to me. My husband & I then decided not to go with this company and to continue to search. I also lost $70 because we applied.
The grounds are very nice however when I moved in my unit needed alot of cleaning. It had lots of spider webs and dust. I even had to put in a little elbow grease removing stains. For the amount of rent it costs to live here and the area I was disappointed in the condition. There were several things that did not work that I would imagine would be standard things they check when moving in a tenant such as lights, garbage disposal and so on. My windows are not insulated so rains comes in the windows. Not to mention all the heat and air that gets wasted. It takes a while for maintenance to fix things. He said he was going to caulk my windows and that was about 3 weeks ago. I'm still waiting. Overall this unit is ok but it does need some work and I wish I my unit wasn't facing the main road because I hear all the noise from the street. Especially since my windows are not insulated.
