Tinley Park is a large suburban village located about 25 miles south-southwest of Chicago along Interstate 80. The historic community maintains a timeless appearance, with many preserved and restored homes and buildings still in active use all around the village. A network of public parks spread across the local neighborhoods ensures that residents are never more than a few blocks from a lush greenspace.
The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on the south end of town is one of the area’s biggest performance venues, and regularly attracts thousands of people from across the Chicagoland region. With its cozy small-town aesthetic, low crime rate, and top-notch public school system, Tinley Park is quite popular as a home base for commuters and is frequently named on lists of best places to raise a family.

Property Ratings at The Residences at 159 Tinley Park Place
I have been living here since 2014 all through the renovations a few years ago. Our rent has increased exponentially but the property is declining. There bottles of empty alcohol and garbage everywhere but the dumpsters. I've had a hole in my bathroom ceiling since we moved to the updated apartments, with a work order dated 1/9/2018 to fix it, but they refuse. I also have mold in my bedroom closet and bathrooms that keeps coming back. When I called about it, they claimed they couldn't come into the apartment because of covid and to just spray bleach on it. Well I'm asthmatic and my asthma has only worsened over the last year due to this. STAY FAR WAY FROM HERE!!!
The apartment complex’s property manager was very rude and did not help with many issues I brought forth to her. The maintenance was subpar, with my A/C not fixed for 3 months. Paying for heat during the winter was a hassle. They have the building set to an uncomfortably high temperature, then charge you more in gas utilities. All in all, just don’t bother with this place. Bad service, poor management, and “band-aids” slapped over every issue for a temporary fix. Good riddance.
Save yourself some struggle and do not live here. The property looks nice on the exterior, but they seriously cut corners and it makes living here terrible. They say that they are going to pay for heat during the winter and set the building to 80 degrees. Then they proceed to only pay 30% of the gas bill and pass the remaining balance onto you. Utilities have more than tripled the past few months so the property can make even more money off of you. The intense heat has also caused a lot of damage to my "newly renovated" apartment. The door and "crown molding" have shifted so much that I cannot lock my door and you can see the previous pant job from the trim shifting. There are now cracks everywhere and the thermostat is just there for looks, it does not work. They re-did the roof without telling us and that was an awful experience, it scared my dog so badly, that I had to leave work early to take care of him. If I knew ahead of time, I could have planned ahead to take the day off or something. Then they hired a new property manager without informing the tenants and she is the worst person I have ever encountered. If she does not like you, or you actually make her do something, she will be rude and snippy and will not fill out your work orders. Now my toilet has been leaking for 3 weeks and I'm sorry for the people living below me and I bet that they are going to charge us for the damage. Just don't do it. It's a trap.
The management here is by far the worst management I have ever delt with. Maintenance requests are almost never filled. The apartments are poorly renovated and things always break. The grounds are poorly kept and walking on the sidewalks is dangerous when it’s anything but sunny. I recently was alerted that there is a resident who was charged with possession and intent to distribute heroin, so apparently they let anybody live here!!! Stay away from this living nightmare.
Im currently moving into an apartment building there and i must say Patty and Diane have given me the best experience ive had since i moved out of my house at age 18. I ran into some personal issues and Patty and Diane where quick to help even though i felt like a burden. They not only helped but went out of their way for me. I cannot tell you how beautiful these apartments have became. I would recommend moving here.
Don’t bother with this apartment complex. It’s under new management (prior Orland Creek) the apartments do look great. But that’s it. They literally put a band aid on an open wound with the “remodel” - cracks in walls, floors are raised in some areas, leaking pipes in the bathroom and kitchen- the list of headaches goes on and on. Numerous times we had issues where we would call and just get voicemail during business hours and no returned calls back. I called regarding a problem area with my bathroom in January (it’s May) and now it’s worse with the pipes leaking. Called all day and nobody could return our phone calls- my boyfriend ended up going to leasing office to find out what was going on and leasing manager responded with I’m busy showing apartments - awesome- why don’t you take care of the tenants you already do have that are paying?? Don’t bother with this place - it’s run through poor management and a list of headaches just waiting for you.
my apartment building has everything you can think of with the exception of a work out room. I'm surrounded around 4 Metra stations, a number of grocery stores, a host of restaurants, shopping plaza's, a mall and a couple of workout gyms. if you like to walk then this is the perfect place, the school districts are amazing, tinley park has two zip codes, one for cook and the other will county. tinley park is family orient and pet friendly. whether you are looking for a apartment or a condominium, if you are a out going person with a pleasant personality, then tinley park has your name all over it.
Ever imagine living like a celebrity Orland Creek is the place to be affordable high society living peaceful, fun, nearby shopping, all amenities, spacious living, wonderful neighbors and the list goes on everything you could imagine.
I have been living here at Orlan Creek for 3 years it is a nice place to stay at for a decent price i have had no problems with the place
