RENTER BEWARE: I’ve lived in a Taymil-managed building for three years and have experienced ongoing issues, including car break-ins, strangers sleeping in stairwells, non-functioning lights in common areas, and frequent fire code violations (I work in emergency management). Despite raising these concerns for months, basic issues remain unresolved. I strongly recommend researching the property manager thoroughly before submitting an application. Best of luck!
From the moment I came to look at an apartment all aspects of this community are outstanding. I have been here for a year now and plan on staying here much longer. I have lived at other apartment communities and this one beats them all. When I first came here to inquire about the apartments the staff that work in the office were very courteous and knowledgeable about giving me all the information I needed. They showed me several units and explained the process perfectly. I have dealt with everyone at the management office including the property manager and maintenance people. Everyone is polite and helpful. All the common areas are well maintained and clean. The management office keeps all tenants well informed of events, pool and gym hours , any routine maintenance with common areas and parking striping and seal coating. I strongly recommend that you visit this property when you are looking for a place to relocate. I have been here since Feb 2024 John O.

Pool closed for repairs for a year now!! Still had to pay amenity fee yearly. No landscaping for the last year, no mulch so alot of mud! No flowers except in front of leasing office. They only want your money. No resident activities for the past year. All this and huge increases in rent every year. Maintenance is done to once a week unless it's an "emergency" in their eyes. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

We value your feedback and want to assure you that we are working as quickly as possible to reopen the pool. Repairs were necessary which required pool closure, however, we are reopening the pool with a fresh remodel and we are sure our residents will be very pleased. The amenity fee is for all amenities and helps to cover cost of upkeep. Landscaping has been a challenge this winter due to heavy rain and windstorms which have caused some muddy areas. We are working with a landscaper to develop a better method to control the water runoff, and new plantings and additional mulch are scheduled for spring. We are happy to let you know that there is a resident event planned for later this month and invites are being sent this week. Unfortunately, the previous holiday party was cancelled due to lack of responses to attend. We are committed to fostering a connected community and will continue to plan events where neighbors can meet and gather. Thank you for your residency and patience during this time!

We lived here for 4 years and really enjoyed it. Older buildings that get cold in the winter but otherwise has a nice homey feel to it. Great amenities and grounds and nice quiet surrounding neighborhoods.

- Pool paint is cheap and chipping - Pool door was broken all summer (still broken) so it was hard to use the pool - a simple siding project took 6+ months (because they probably picked a cheap contracting company) then the remaining material was left on the lawns for months….yes I said months. - the new residence, clearly as not being screened or held to the same standards as long term residence ——— my new neighbor told me he wasn’t background checked or asked for his income to ensure he could pay rent. Ridiculous. —— there are people who I’m certain are dealing drugs in the building across from me. They act very shady and constantly have people going in and out at all night - December 2022, we had a few car break ins and an attempted apartment break-in. Crime is on the rise it seems . Of course no email about how security will be improved. Pathetic. - The police are constantly showing up, at least every 2-3 weeks I see several cop cars on the street, lights flashing. I’ve lived here for a few years. The downhill quality is one thing, but now safety doesn't seem to be a concern. I will be moving out 2023, devastated that I have to leave a once great place. I hope they are happy with how badly they’ve destroyed this place

The five star rating reflects what it was like prior to the new management taking over in Jan 2022. It went downhill fast. All upkeep and preventative maintenance has stopped. The office is only staffed part-time, the property manager is "regional" and not actually onsite, and calls and emails to the office go unanswered. Management has also initiated a bunch of unnecessary "upgrades" like replacing the fully-functional and up-to-code fire alarm system in order to justify the hike in rents (which have doubled in all cases). Expect to get notice about people entering your apartment to do such work at least ten minutes AFTER the start time listed in the email. Also expect parking lots not to be cleared at all until the day after snowstorms (good luck getting out to go to work). There is a reason there is so much availability here right now (in the current rental market) when most other places in the area have none. Long-time residents like myself are leaving in droves.

Owner transitions can take time to get through. When issues are reported to management, our goal is to resolve them quickly. Updating the fire alarm system was not discretionary, the North Providence Fire Mashal mandated that the fire alarm system be upgraded. We are also in the process of upgrading units with quartz countertops and plank flooring. The Regional Manager is on site 4 days a week and the Office is open Monday through Saturday. We hope we can assist you going forward.
Brentwood was great before 2022, to start the new owners took over and residence were notified 5 hours before the hand over, since then quality has gone downhill. Communication is Poor - Notified at 7am on a Saturday to move car for snow plow by 9am or get towed. Most people didn’t move and we all got a strongly worded email as if we were at fault. previous owners would give at least 24hr notice to plan and follow up in the AM Neighbor Noise issues - Doesn't seem like an issue to them. Neighbors blast music or throw parties? Don’t bother calling the office. Maintenance under Pope is good compared to other places, thank goodness he stayed. But some of the new folks or contractors are a bit iffy, they don’t seem to care about the property. Overall, don’t let the outside appearance sell you. Quality has plummeted, and all the hype and niceties they tell you they will do are hollow. Very sad to be looking again, it was great place to stay before.

We are sorry you have been disappointed. Owner transitions can take time to get through. When issues are reported to management, our goal is to resolve quickly. Staff shortages because of ownership change did cause some delays in keeping up with email communication. Regarding snow removal, snow clearance is required and as stated in the snow policy, the time schedule is posted on the actual day of snow removal. The Office is open Monday through Saturday. People at the office are useless, and always overcharge for everything, your car will get scratched with the small parking spaces.
Save your money! Overpriced apartments with absolutely NO insulation. You'll hear your next door neighbors and the people above from you and you'll pay an arm and a leg for utilities just to keep the apartment at a livable temperature. Don't bother emailing "management" because they never get back to you. Maintenance is okay but definitely go into the apartments without giving any notice. Parking is horrible so your car will get dinged or better yet your tires stolen! The amenities are fine when actually available - they took away the tennis courts without any notice to put in a dog park that literally no one uses, the pool is always closed for maintenance and the gym hasn't been updated in about a decade. I almost got CO poisoning because they don't clean the vents and animals make themselves at home. My apartment was also infested with flies at one point because of the dirty vents. They lose your packages with absolutely no remorse or solution and they will fine you for every little thing.
Not peaceful & quiet, mostly kids in their 20's rent here. Police cars are always there. Wheels being stolen off cars. Lot's of noise. Wall are thin, you will hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing both beside and above you. Very poorly insulated units, freezing cold. Boilers & A/C drowned out your television and conversation's. Rodents at the dumpster. Not worth the money. Also having a terrible time getting some of my Security Deposit back. Really horrible and overpriced. Office clerks call themselves magager's(hahaha) Maintenance crew is great.
DO NOT RENT HERE. The customer service at the office is atrocious. The lease does have all the fees you will pay and they are very strict to it. If you think you may not be living here as long as your lease or want to transfer forget about it unless you want to pay a lot of money. Maintenance will sometimes come in your home without permission and gives you not a lot of notice to put your pets away when they have to come in for something. I've never experienced such high lease breakage fees in my ten years experience renting. It's not worth the high fees. You've been warned. I urge you to take your money elsewhere.
- Heating system does not keep up with apt size. Also, when the heat comes on, you must turn up TV (it's loud). - A LOT of police presence. Wheels get stolen off cars at night. - Amenities are often broken or closed. - Parking spaces are very tight. Your car doors well get dinged.
Don't live here. Cons: - Utilities are expensive and the staff is not upfront about what the price is. Expect to pay - 35 for water - 100 for electricity - 13 for gas in summer and 150 for gas in winter (80 year average?) - Electric stove sucks. Electric water heater accounts for 30 dollars a month. No microwave. - Walls suck. They are painted with this weird textured awfulness which looks really bad. - Tight parking spaces. Each spot is for a small sedan. Literally, every other car has dings from car doors. - The layout of the apartment is not the best. Pros: - Gym and pool on site (pool is closed a lot) - They sign for packages at the front door. - Current staff seem friendly enough. - Fireplace is nice.
I like my apartments,it is located in a beautiful neighborhood which is secure and peacful.
I absolutel love this place, however, due to some medical issues, I must move. Hate to leave. The people are nice, maintanence lives on grounds,, well kept, just overall a great place
Awful management. They have an excuse for every issue you bring to their attention. Quality of apartments is not representative of what you pay for rent. Apartment sizes are not very big. Thin walls - you can hear everything, especially if there is someone above you. Parking in many of the lots is extremely tight so expect you car to have scratches and dents. There are rodent problems in some of the buildings. Expect a large heating bill as there is little insulation.
