Property Ratings at The Residences At Carronade
I live in a 2 bedroom private entrance unit and it has been exactly what I want and need in an apartment. I am close to everything I need but I don't hear all the noise. The pool is amazing and I have so much space in my apartment.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. What started as a great experience hrough the first few months at Carronade, had turned into the most unprofessional and unwelcoming places I could have picked to live. In my 15 months at the complex, we have had several issues go completely unaddress and simply ignored by on-site complex manager, and have had to go over her head to corporate to get anything done. Regarding any kind of standard maintance, the air filter in our air conditioning unit was original to the complex being built, and looked like a shrivled up raisin when it was taken out when our AC broke. There is a trash service that is supposed to come around and pick up the trash from resident's doors throughout the week, and unless you live on the first floor, good luck with any kind of consistency with this service. When it came time to renew, which we knew we certainly were not, they even tried to increase the price per month by over $200. For the amount that they are charging, please seriously consider any other options that you may have in mind. I would not recommend Carronade to anyone after the way they treated residents. And if your work from home good luck with the amount of kids that run around screaming unsupervised all day long. There have been multiple calls to the office where I have had to address children screaming being able to be heard during work calls, and I lived on the third floor.
Apartments look nice but come with substandard services and amenities as well as a rude management team that refuses to return messages. I’ve had to go over their heads to Dietz Property Group and only gotten them to respond by threatening to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. There are chronic problems with trash and addressing maintenance requests; routine maintenance on furnace, fireplace, and AC are not completed. The complex is extremely unsafe in winter because sidewalks are never salted and staff refuses to clear all of the sidewalks on the premises. The sidewalks they do “clear” are still covered in patches of ice and piles of snow, and they don’t start clearing snow until after 8am. The only sidewalk that is ever truly clear is in front of the management office. Stairways and breezeways around apartments are never cleared by staff. Management tells new residents they’ll be entered into a gift card drawing if they leave a positive review; that’s the only reason people have left 5 stars. Read the reviews left by people who’ve lived at Carronade longer.
Though a nice community and good maintenance the management and property group should be avoided if you have other options. They will send you to collections during a state of emergency without even a phone call or a bill. We left forwarding address and 2 phone numbers after checking with the office on 2 occasions yet never received any communication of a bill until collecting agency came after us. The reason your rent is high here is likely the use of debt collections agencies instead of a bill sent to a forwarding address or any sort of phone call communication.

the parking is terrible! there are not enough spots so unless you pay $80 for a garage you will have a hard time getting a spot. the office is unresponsive and unhelpful the dont maintain anything; wood stairs have black mold, various lightbulbs out, dumpsters overflowing, etc smoking is allowed so your cupboard will smell like cigarette smoke more than likely and if your neighbors smoke you will know it! I am glad I got out of that place!!

My experience was that of an awesome and friendly staff, not to mention an awesome apartment in a prime location. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency I did have to move, but I would take that apartment back in an instant. It is right in front of the pool and on the first floor. It had plenty of space with all the amenities that i needed. The maintenance man was always helpful if we ever had an issue. It was nice to sit on the front porch and watch our kids swim and take in the summer. Prime location.
The Residences at Carronade is the great place to live in Perrysburg. The location is just at right place which the center of all shopping centers, Costco, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Home depot, Schools. Very close to YMCA. The staff .. office and maintenance both is very good and friendly. The take care of your issues immediately. This makes the stay very enjoyable and pleasant.
