The Retreat at Hamburg has a very convenient location, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and I-75 are all close by. A friendly and helpful office staff and very prompt maintenance crew!

Great and friendly staff who actually listen and care about what's going on. Maintenance team will respond quickly while being professional. Amenities and common areas are clean, spacious and well maintained. Go for the third floor if available. Balcony is the biggest.

Kristen and Holli are professional and treat you like family. The maintenance team is always prompt on fixing any issues in your apartment. They also keep the grounds in tip top shape. We love living here and highly recommend Retreat at Hamburg.

The only down side is not enough parking. I came home at 2 am and could not find a parking spot.

Its very quiet. The maintenance are quick to help and fixed my requests. I have no complaints so far.

My only real complaint is storage - I've seen other apartments with much more thoughtful storage built in. Also, I know there will always be noise in apartment living but the front doors slam, that could be easily resolved for everyone with a soft-close door hinge.

The location is great. Everything I could possibly need is right here.

Great place great leasing professional

Amenities, location and peacefulness would be my recommendation for living here. My only CON that I would have is that rent here is a little pricey but it's bc of the location.

The retreat has been an amazing place to live. We have only one maintenance request when we first moved in and it was resolved that same day. We have not had any other issues with the apartment or the staff. The staff has always been super helpful and understanding. Although I will be looking for another apartment next year due to personal reasons I would definitely recommend living at the retreat!

This is a safe place to live. It' in a great part of town close to so many things when it comes to eating, shopping etc. The staff is very friendly and is in constant contact If needed for anything.

The parking is awful. We can rarely find a spot near our apartment. There' also a lot of compact car parking spots but compact cars don't park there... forcing people with larger vehicles to.

These apartments are really spacious and rightly located in the Hamburg area where majority of shopping can be done within 5min of travel. Hamburg area is one of nicest locations in Lexington. Kristin and Holli are very nice and will take care of any issues.

Retreat has been an amazing apartment community the last year. Kristen has been great and made the move out process easy! They had my apartment and carpets cleaned for a fee and just move out! Holly is nice and always happy. The head maintenance guy Joe, is really nice. He will come over as soon as I ask the office for a request. They all are so helpful and will be missed.

I really enjoy living at Retreat! It is really close to the highway and shopping. The ladies in the office have been nothing by helpful. You can call Kristen or Holly at anytime and they are willing to help. The maintenance staff is very quick to respond and the people who live here are really nice as well. Just overall a really great place to live.

This apartment meets my needs, excellent location. I feel at home at the Retreat Apartments.

I enjoy living at Retreat at Hamburg! The community is a quite community and the inside of the apt is up to date. I really love that it comes with a washer and dryer. It is very close to 75, which is great since I have to commute out to work each day. The maintenance staff completes my requests very quickly and the ladies in the office are very nice and helpful. I would recommend this community to anyone!

I would recommend for anyone that needs apartment living. However, sometimes it is hard to co-habitat because of noisy neighbors.

Holli in the leading office is absolutely amazing. She has been a joy from the first minute. She was definitely a big motivation in my decision to move to Retreat at Hamburg.

Based solely on the maintenance interaction I would completely recommend the community. Obviously this would just be one part of my overall assessment.

It's in a very good location, and it is a beautiful, very new building with updated features.

The community and unit were very well kept and I enjoyed our experience.

A quiet, relaxing place to live. Sir Barton Way is not full of traffic and you are close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centers.

Great area. Clean and quiet community. Perfect for young adults looking to move away from the college environment.

The only thing that would cause me to not recommend this apartment community is the parking. To elaborate, majority of the spots are compacted and most of the residents park in the visitor spots leaving no spots for visitors.

Great location. The property looked well kept and inviting. Looks like a nice place to live and call home for the future.

Price is the only negative. Rent Continues to increase each year.

The first reason I would not recommend the apartment is because the grounds have gotten increasingly unclean. There has been cat litter and cat feces spilled on one of the staircases for a long time that has still not been picked up and there are cigarette butts littered throughout the grounds. There has also been an increase in people not following the rules of the valet trash service which makes the complex looks dirty, as well as people not picking up after their dogs. There is also an issue of large vehicles parking in compact spots extremely close to cars that are already parked. However, I would recommend the apartment in terms of maintenance of the individual units and location of the apartment complex.

I will recommend this apartment complex because it's a great place to call home. Great community and the location is excellent.

Overall, this is a lovely place to live. I'm very happy with our transition from a bigger owned home.

Natalie did a wonderful and thorough job telling us about the Retreat. She has excellent people skills and I would recommend the Retrear based solely on how she treated us.

The features of the apartment complex and the apartment itself is a terrific value for the rent rate and location of apartments. Natalie was very friendly and did a fantastic job explaining everything to us while we were meeting with her. I felt like when we left, I had all the information we needed to make a decision and our experience was more personal at Retreat at Hamburg Place than other complexes visited throughout the day.

I would say the apartment itself was great. The parking will be the reason you move out.

I love the community but I don't feel it is kept up to "luxury" standards. Again, pet waste everywhere, tons of smoking residents, the hot tub and grills have been broken on numerous occasions, concrete stained and not "blown" to remove dust and leaves up in the stairwells and landings

Maintenance wise, I would recommend this facility. However, the repeated little letters left on everyone?s doors to scold them is getting tiresome and would be one of the first things I would share with someone thinking of moving into this facility.

Admin and maintenance staff, location, price, overall just a very good place to call home. Very happy I found the Retreat Aparment complex at the very last minute.

This community has fantastic maintenance services that respond within only a couple hours of submitting request. They are very respectful of your property and very polite. They try to fix your issues within the first visit so they don't have to bother you multiple times on one request.
