Property Ratings at The Retreat at the Park
Expensive, packages stolen, cars being broke into, parking disaster, noisy, USPS puts stuff in wrong mailbox and you never see it. Good for a college student who's mommy and daddy pay for everything. For the hard working trying to make a living out there it sucks. Kids running through breezeway screaming and riding bikes. Nothing is done until family has moved out of apartment. That is when it stops. Too many issues for the common person.

Management sucks & the apts are infested with bugs!!!!!! Management is going 2 try to remove or write under any negative review but TRUST ME: GO ELSEWHERE
Wish I could give ZERO stars. DO NOT waste your money living at this place. It is unsafe and the employees are sorely... I mean SORELY incompetent. It is almost laughable how incapable they are at doing their jobs. Additionally, cars get robbed AND stolen out of the parking lot, along with packages from your doorstep. People sit on the stairwell of the breezeways smoking illegal substances. Walls are paper thin. Buildings are filthy. The list goes on and on and on. So many other halfway decent places to live in Burlington so do yourself a HUGE favor and do not live here. You will regret it.
I was actually embarrassed for the people who work there when speaking with a lady. Basically she spoke on behalf of the owner, who wasn’t present and surely would have taken interest in this conversation! Some people never cease to amaze me! You couldn’t pay me to step on that property again!
We have lived here for about a year and a half. Any issues we have had have been quickly taken care of. Management has worked with us to make sure issues are handled in a timely manner. My only real complaint would be the type of paint that was used in the apartments. If you accidentally touch a wall it lifts the oils out of your skin and leaves a mark. With kids it’s hard to always keep their hands off the walls. When you try to wipe it off it leaves places on the wall. Other than that we have had a great experience. Love the convenience of being close to everything and having the pool and valet trash service!
The facility is nice and modern, and the price is reasonable. However, grounds maintenance is substandard. The main entrance area is maintained to look nice and inviting, but all the other grass areas are neglected and not mowed regularly. Also, the pet waste stations frequently have over-flowing waste receptacles and regularly are out of pick-up bags even though a fee is charged monthly for this. Just last week a warning was issued about potential fines for not cleaning up after your pet, yet several of the waste stations have been out of bags for 4 days - what does the maintenance crew do all day, not cut grass, service the stations, or keep the landscaping clean that is for sure. Management should spend some time walking the property and being sure it is being properly maintained and that property rules are being followed instead of sitting in their offices all day long. The only way to have rules work is to enforce them! With a little attention, this could be a really nice property. And another thing - when will the new grill area actually be ready to use? Management does not seem to be able to answer this question. Again - nice facility, but lacking proper involvement from management.

I moved in last October with no hassle, a great rental rate and a brand new gorgeous apartment! The staff is amazing, I hear VERY little noise from the neighbors. It's actually surprising how quiet it is. The only complaint I have is the dog poop. People are very inconsiderate about taking care of the dog waste. Other than that, by far one of the best places in the Burlington area for sure! Plus, the office staff....amazing!

FOR THE PRICING, THESE APTS ARE NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. HONESTLY, THEY PRICING NEEDS TO BE IN THE 600 RANGE DUE TO THE LOUD NOISES YOU HEAR NO MATTER WHAT. WHEN THE AC/HEAT KICKS ON AND OFF YOU WILL HEAR THE LOUDEST NOISE EVER. ALSO, HOW STUPID IS IT TO HAVE A CLOSET BESIDE THE BATHROOM INSTEAD OF BESIDE OR IN YOUR ROOM-HORRIBLE WAY TO MAKE AN APT. THE TOILET WHEN FLUSHING SOUNDS EXTREMELY LOUD AND THERE ARE TOO MANY LIGHTS-PRODUCING SO MANY BUGS AT NIGHT. THE LAST PERSON WAS RIGHT--MANAGEMENT IS NICE UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY MOVE-IN. THE PRICE OF THESE APTS ARE SO HIGH THAT EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO MOVE-OUT AS SOON AS YOU MOVE-IN THEY CHARGE YOU CLOSE TO $2000 (STUPID). ALL IN ALL, MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO CONSIDER TAKING THE COST OF THE RENT DOWN REALLY LOW BC THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY AN ARM AND LEG FOR A PLACE OF SUCH LOW-QUALITY. WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED. CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE-OUT.

The walls are to thin. You can hear everything you've neighbors are saying and doing (everything). The out side noisy is bad as well. Management is nice until you move in. The pool doesn't look big enough for the amount of tenets that will be renting. I've visited numbers of times can couldn't rest do to the stomping and banging from surrounding neighbors. When your neighbors cook, the smell permeates throughout your apartment. Location is good, but to noisy.
