Property Ratings at The Ridge at Chestnut Hill
I recently renewed my lease to live here another year! I love my apartment. The maintenance team is great and responds quickly, even to minor issues, and my interactions with the office staff have always been wonderful. We are close enough to Meijer that you can walk across the street to pick something up. I have also never had an issue with finding parking. On the rare occasion that my lot fills up due to guests, there are other spots in the lot right next to it. The neighbors are always friendly, the apartment has quite a bit of storage space, and the apartment walls are pretty thick. The only downside is that we are not able to use our fireplace. There is some sort of issue with it where the smoke detector nearby goes off whenever it is run. We had the maintenance team turn the gas off for it soon after we moved in so we didn’t have to worry about it. Besides that, I have no complaints about my apartment at all. I feel safe and happy here. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience living here!

Thank you so much for the review and feedback! We appreciate it!
I have been living here for a year and a half and I don't have many complaints. During the summer you have some kids running around and they are pretty loud at night but they go inside at some point. I have had a car gone through once, but that was because I left my car unlocked and they look only a few dollars I had. For the price close to Easton, you can't bet it. Everyone seems to mind there own business but if you do something that they do not like, then they will tell you on. The pool closed at 4 the whole summer so I never really have had the chance to swim. Overall, this is a safe bet to move into this complex. I lived in Whitehall so I feel much safer here.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate your feedback.
I was charged $270 upon moving out of The Ridge for “marijuana odor.” First of all, I actually have never smoked marijuana in my life, nor has anybody ever smoked near me, much less in my house. This is AFTER I had called them to complain about a marijuana smell lingering around the complex. I have ASTHMA, and my lungs are sensitive to fumes as such. This place is ridiculous.

This is my 4th year at the Ridge. I love it here - friendly neighbors, quiet area, great office staff and *phenomenal* maintenance staff. I have yet to have an issue that hasn't been fixed or resolved by the staff in under 24 hours.
I am going on my third year living here, and the pros/advantages outweigh the negative. They include: -One of the best priced 1 bedrooms apartments in the area. (And I have researched them all!) -Older complex that is well-kept and affordable compared from the plethora of new/expensive builds in the area -Tucked away from Hamilton Road, but accessible and near everything you need. (Food, Meijer, and easy access to the 270 Morse Rd exit and the Little Turtle Way 161 exit) -Quiet neighborhood that I feel safe in as a single woman- including well lit sidewalks and breezeways -Washer and dryer in unit, which is a huge incentive -Small complex that is easy to direct visitors to -Andy the matienence guy is friendly and helpful
I've lived in a 2 bed, 1 bath, townhouse near for 3 1/2 years now. It's not bad. I can walk across the street to Meijer 24/7. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance (not too far). During my time here, I have had an issue with the AC, the quality of the bath tub, the roof above my porch after a storm with high winds. They were all fixed, and it didn't take too long for them to do it. The only thing I was disappointed in was when sprayer part of my sink broke and water was spraying everywhere. It took them 6 month for them to fix it. Also, I think that it was a manager or something of both apartments that was working that day. I hate that guy. He pouted when I came into the office and asked for help shutting off the water. When we got the water shut off, I told him that I put the sprayer back, about 5 seconds later it broke and water started spraying everywhere. He called the maintenance people and the story that he told them was that I broke it while messing around under the sink. He completely made the whole thing up to blame it on me. I hate that guy, but the rest of the people that work here are nice. The turnover on employees seems to be high though.... Parking is good. Insulation between apartments could be better. This apartment complex is related with Chestnut Hill Luxury Apartments, which is across Hamilton Road. They have a gym over there and another pool that you can also use. There is a pool at this location too, and a community garden. The garages are small and expensive for having manual garage doors and no electricity, but I haven't had a problem with it. The neighbors are polite, and I am not a fan of kids running around. It's not bad. Actually, when I came to look at the apartment, one of the people yelled at the kids for making too much noise and running up and down the stairs. I was impressed. They have gone through a lot of people working here though.
