I loved living here! I lived here for 2.5 years, but then had to move out of state. The staff is incredibly friendly and more than happy to assist. They even throw some parties throughout the year for us residents. They are super quick to fix any issues (usually within 48 hours from my ticket being submitted). I do feel safe here, as well. You can hear the train, but other than that I loved it!
Thank you for 8 great years at The Ridge! I moved here the day after college graduation and made it my home. This has been a great community to live. Thanks to the Manager and the staff for everything! Fran P.
The staff is nice enough but these apartments are overpriced for what they offer. Not to mention that when you move out they charge "automatic fees" for painting and cleaning that is all designed to take your entire deposit. LIVE ELSEWHERE!!! I assure you I am not some shady tenant running down a company who gave me what I deserved. I left the apartment in better shape than I receive it and paid my lease out to buy a home. I then received the paperwork that told me of all their charges. After further research I'm not even sure it's legal. They charge for routine maintenance and force you to leave the electricity in your name for weeks after you move out to avoid having any overhead. I would say their business practices are borderline criminal at best.
The staff initially seemed to be welcoming and helpful; however, over time, their true colors were revealed. The staff was not only inconsistent with information/prices, but they were also dishonest and completely untrustworthy. If you're young and seemingly naive, they will most definitely try to take advantage of you. WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD! I will never make the mistake again of renting from this company.
We moved in a couple of months ago and haven't had many problems! Some problems that we've encountered are: (1) We were given parking stickers to put on our car windows so that we could park closer to the buildings and were told that this would be monitored. We've not seen very much monitoring, but we have seen people let their friends that come over park closest to the buildings, therefore sometimes we have to park far away. (2) This is a gated community and we had to pay a lot of money to get the clickers to open the gate. This is fine, but there is a visitor stall before the gate that has a screen with everyone who lives there's gate number. I've gotten several phone calls from the gate when I wasn't expecting anyone just because they wanted through the gate. Also, there is a sign on the gate that says that the gate closes after each car, but it doesn't, so you don't even technically have to have a gate key or use the visitor entrance. Also, some of the guests believe that they need to enter the gate before you do after you've hit the gate key. I've been cussed at and told to get out of the way because I was following the speed limit signs. It is so easy to complain about all of the bad stuff, but let me talk about the good stuff. This management company takes real pride in the appearance of their grounds and how they treat their people. Every morning when I get up to go to work, I meet a grounds keeper at the bottom of the stairs to say Good Morning while he picks up the trash around the parking lot. Also when we first moved in we had some problems with our air conditioner. It was within the day of the complaint that someone was there to fix it. Since the summer began, they have been doing lots of renovating to make sure the residents get the best service and live on the best grounds. All of the good things about the Ridge makes all of the bad things seem not so bad! I really love living here! (:
The management at The Ridge is very helpful and any maintenance requests are seen to as soon as possible. I've lived here a year and just renewed my lease because I like the location so much. My neighbors are quiet for the most part and I haven't had any issues here yet.
I have been in this procress of finding an apartment for my future husband and I and I could not be more happier with the decision we made. These apartments are super clean and nice and the staff was one hundred percent friendly and helpful every step of the way.
I am a current resident of the ridge, it is awful here and i am counting down the days until i can leave. Now the apartments in general are good and the environment is okay, its the staff that is the real problem. This is the 2nd time they have "lost" my rent, and after being charged late fees, they "find' it. The manager is extremely rude, not helpful and disrespectful. Its not worth it to live here. Every month you turn in your rent there is always a mistake with something. all the time i have spent arguing with them over their mistakes is completely draining. If i could do this all over again i wish someone would of told me what a hassle it was going to be living here and i would of moved somewhere else. So SAVE YOUR MONEY AND KEEP LOOKING. The ridge is not worth your time.

While looking for apartments, I found the Ridge at Meadowlake to be in the exact location that I was looking for. The friendly staff answered my e-mails and all of my questions promptly. The staff let me know all of the ways to contact them at any time. I was very pleased with the hospitality I was shown while looking at apartments and all of the information I was given about the property. I have only been here for a few weeks but I love the fact that there is volley ball, basketball, pool, computer, fax and exercise equipment available for my use.
I have watched the transition from a great, respectable, community degrade into an apartment complex full of folks you would not want to live with. Loud neighbors, booming music in the parking lot as if this is the ghetto, and difficult management. Since the management has changed this apartment complex has also changed...for the worse. It is not worth the price.
I loved my apartment, just not the distance I had to drive to and from work (work in North Little Rock). Other than that I would've resign my lease here. The office staff is very pleasant, for the most part the grounds were always clean, and anytime I needed a repair maintenance was always timely. Plus I think you get a lot of apartment for the price. Now it's back to the city for more money and less square footage.
I lived at The Ridge at Meadowlake from 2009-2013; from the first day I walked into the office the ladies that walked me through the leasing of my apartment were a class act. The few times I had maintenance issues they were handled promptly and professionally. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone moving to the Conway, Arkansas area.
I love this complex. The staff are extremely friendly and they are always available when you need them. Maintenance are always there that day to fix whatever you may need. Highly recommend this place. The only drawback I've found is that parking is a little full.
Besides incredibly thin walls, grounds crew blasting their leaf blowers just about every day, a tiny gym, and terrible parking enforcement...the office staff is about the most disrespectful group of people you will ever meet. I got orders to deploy with the Army and they are currently fighting tooth and nail not to let me out of my lease because of my roommate situation. Because getting your money is all they care about. Don't live here.
