Property Ratings at The Ridgedale
The apartment itself was okay, but the maintenance service was absolutely terrible. Getting anything fixed was a struggle—there was no follow-up on issues no matter how many times I reached out. I eventually gave up on repairs and just learned to live with things broken or nonfunctional. Move-in was also a headache. The apartment wasn’t ready, with several drawers and doors poorly fitted, and the place was dusty and unclean. The only reason I initially moved in was the affordable base rent, but the high utility charges quickly erased any savings. Overall, I would have recommended looking at other options around the Crossroads area, as there were definitely better apartments available.

We really loved living at The Ridgedale! My wife and I rented a 750 sq. ft. 1x1 for a year. We enjoyed the great floor plan and the central location to Bellevue. The fitness center is spacious, has nice equipment, and has TVs to watch sporting events while working out. We miss the EV charging stations, which our current apartment complex lacks. David and Victoria, the office staff, were friendly and attentive. Mallie, the property manager, was a total pro at getting stuff done. We were sad when we had to move out, and in my wife's words, "It was the first apartment we lived in that truly felt like a home".

We're overjoyed to hear that you and your wife loved your time at The Ridgedale. It's wonderful to know that you appreciated our floor plans, central location, fitness center, and EV charging stations. We're also glad that our staff made a positive impression on you. Your kind words mean a lot to us. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Location and units were both nice. Constant construction and management will charge hidden fees so be aware. They don't answer their phone and the office never seems open. If you can tolerate an incompetent management then you will feel right at home.

My boyfriend and I have really enjoyed living at the ridgedale. It is a nice quiet and clean place to live. We always feel at home when we come home from work. They are also very dog friendly, our pup Jax loves it here as well.

Expensive place with poor services. No enforcement of rules in community. Garbage is kept outside the apartment door by the residents (through out the day and many times during the whole weekend). Ideally it should be kept out only an hour before the garbage collection timing. That ways, other residents will not suffer with the bad smell of the garbage. Also, many times Trash is not properly tied by the residents that leads to leakage and foul smell. There should be more stricter rules enforced by community office. No cleaning of common areas (e.g. Stairs, Area under stairs, etc.).. Overall not a very satisfactory experience.

The apartment complex itself is good. But since Avenue 5 assumed the office I had many bad interactions with the office Ill just move out, there are thousands of empty apartments in Bellevue.

Prior to new management, my maintenance requests would be open for days or weeks before completion. This time, I was pleasantly surprised to see that maintenance already arrived to handle my request within just a couple hours! I appreciate the quick arrival.

The Ridgedale is actually the best apartment I've lived in in this area. Especially if you have one or two cars. The location is really central and the layouts are awesome. Been here for several years and would recommend.

I am staying in Ridgedale for around a year. There are many points which I like about this place. The property is clean, renovated units are truly special with new appliances and 1 bedroom floor plan is very spacious. The office staff are so friendly and genuinely kind. They have well equipped gym, two pools all maintained with great care. The property is conveniently located with nearby access to I90 , 405 and crossroads. Special mention about Britnee who is "to-go" person very helpful and welcoming. She is responsible, responds quickly and provide great insight into any questions regarding the property or the surrounding area. Anyone can look forward to have good time here (be with family or alone)and have splendid time.

Beware..!!, if you planning to move to this community. Starting this year they have introduced some weird rules/conditions in their lease agreement. Mostly, in apartment communities if you have to move out before your lease expiry due to any reasons, you pay money equivalent to 2 months rent and break the lease and move out. HERE IT'S NOT THE CASE. Here, if you mov out, you have to keep paying till the time your apartment got rented out again (or till your actual lease expiry date), which here it could take months. One of their another trick here is that they will not even show your apartment to interested parties and will keep them showing their other vacant apartments (bcoz they are anyways getting rent from you for the vacated apartment). That ways, most of times you end up paying rent for many months after you moved out. This happened recently to some of my friends who had to move out due to some reasons.

Stayed there for over 2 years, this is not for everyone. The good: - Upgraded units (also the bad as they do it while units are occupied, most of the times on a 1 day notice to enter. This includes upgrading kitchen drawers (2 visits), installing fire alarms (2-3 visits)) - Quick help on maintenance The bad: Listing few here - Common areas and parking places not well lit (no wonder they had a homicide few years ago) - Most arrogant and unhelpful staff - Not enough free parking space. Its a nightmare if you don't cough up extra money for a reserved spot. - 2 beautiful pools that are never open - 1 state of the art gym that was under construction for whole 2 years I was there! - Break-ins targeting Gold and Electronics. Once I asked staff why residents are not informed when there is a break-in in the community. Answer was they do not do it per policy, but they do disclose if someone asks. Excellent way of cautioning residents. - Valet trash: This sounds like a perk until you move in. They don't pickup on weekends when it is need the most. Your neighbor's trash may pileup just outside your door on weekends or from morning till evening. Imagine hopping your way out (over trash) to office on a beautiful Seattle morning! Units are not worth the price, they make sure to rise the rent to ridiculous levels when renewal is due (and renewal notice will only be sent just a day or two before the 20 days mandatory period - to make sure you don't get enough time to decide).

Extremely laggy parking lot construction. A parking lot construction had started when we moved in and its really too slow. If someone comes after 8pm, there's no empty lot and barely two on roads. Even not enough paid parking lot. When we asked for a paid lot, they gave us someone's else's and those occupants put a note on our car saying "its our lot". Trash can. No trashcan was given for a week. Utility bill mess. This was the biggest mess. We never got our first hard copy (it contains online logon info). And ridgedale was so eager to send out multiple warnings- "if not paid in 10 days, serious action will be taken. After 2 more days we got the bill on post mail. Extremely late. So from all these, the leasing office is incompetent. They will charge $2000 for a month. Suggestion- Just go somewhere else or buy a home instead.

After looking at many apartments, I choose to move into the Ridgedale Apartments, and I couldn’t be happier. The whole experience was great. The apartment is completely renovated and they did a beautiful job. I have seen many so called “Renovated” apartments and was not impressed. The attention to the details is great. Once inside, it does not look like your typical apartment. The kitchen cabinets are all new and the appliances are stainless steel. The refrigerator is a full size, not apartment size with 2 feet between the top of the refrigerator and the cabinets. They have a sliding door off the living room onto the balcony, but the window extends another door length which lets in so much light, it is amazing. I moved from a two-bedroom apt to a one bedroom apt and there is twice as much storage here then I had in my two-bedroom apartment. I leased the apartment from Britnee, the Assistant Manager and she was amazing, very professional, yet extremely personable too. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Everyone in the leasing office has been wonderful and have gone out of their way to make me feel welcomed. I am very happy with my choice; with the rental prices so high, I at least feel I am getting more for my money than many other places I looked at.

i lived in this property for 3 months now, While signing lease the management told us they are done with 99% of the construction and there is no construction pending in this property except the gym. But last month the leasing office posted notice to remove vehicles before 8 AM so that they can paint asbestos in the parking lot and the parking lot will be closed for 3 days. I called leasing office and asked them where can I park my car when the parking lot is fully closed. The answer was to park along the roadside or park in front of near by buildings. (Which I never expected, I thought the management were smart, but I was wrong). On the day, I wokeup early and parked by car along the roadside and went to take shower and get ready to office. I noticed they covered all the parking lots. I was not able to get out of my apartment, I called leasing office to let them know there is no way I can get out of my apartment. The answer from leasing office was irresponsible. "you can walk over the curb or walk in the lawn". To be very honest, no management would let their tenants suffer, but this management did this. poor management. They are not ready to accept that they are wrong. My lease comes up in another 3 months, I'm leaving this place and I would not recommend this to anyone.

The management is so rude!! They hung up on you (Mia) Though renovated but appliances upgraded are of poor quality and fails every now and the. I am stuck because not been able to wash clothes since Saturday. Recent problem to me has been pest control. There is a mouse in my house but no resolution. They had a maintenance guy that has been frames in burglary charges. I have every reason to be annoyed from this apartment. There is no way I can escalate to management.

The management that is on the local property is horrible. We had lived there for 6 months, paid three months in advance and used their automative system. After getting confirmation email that rent was paid, it never was taken from account. When we went to see why is had not been deducted they required a money order and charged 150 in late fees. This happened two months in a row. When we went to pay rent again,, this time with a money order, manager would not accept payment stating we owed 4000.00. I do not see how that is possible. We had all receipts for rent and she still said that we owed. She would not even talk to me she went in her office and shut the door. I came back next day and a person from their regional office was there. Thank fully she took all my reciepts and took everything to regional to fix. Part of the problem was we got a free months rent when we moved in and that had never been deducted, plus the rent we were trying to pay, plus she kept adding 75.00 late fees, but wouldnt accept payment. This still hasnt been figured out. I hope regional send me what we actually owe for august. At least I have email from there and we are going from there. I can tell tell you when our lease it is we will find another place. It is pretty bad when you are trying to pay your rent and they wont take it. Property is ok, just a place to sleep. Summer, they liked to have never got pool open. They are not quick to respond to issues. There are two girls in the office that are great,, but then you have Aria or whatever her name is then a secretive woman in a room behind a desk that you can only hear, she never handles problems, just tells the others what to say. Please. Run a business like it is suppose to be ran. The girls that were there when we first moved in were fantastic. This is what you get when a company changes leasors. Luckily the regional person we got to fix all of this mess, was our original person we signed lease with… Look around and let this be your last resort.

Moved in 2014, they were in the middle of rennovations. The rennovated apartment we moved into is very large, high quality appliances. Parking has not been a problem at all in the year we've been here. The price however has increase a lot since then. Our 1b1b is 1265 a month for us, but online is listed for 1610. Other than that the neighborhood is a nonissue thus far and the staff are all friendly. Overall 4/5 stars for me. They lose one for the dramatic increase in price, but if you can get a deal on one then go lock that price in and you won't regret it.
