With the rugged Wasatch Mountains dominating the landscape, Carterville locals never tire of the scenery. Relatively flat terrain magnifies this spectacular view and tree-lined streets add freshness to the district. Most of the area's apartments sit in the shared residential and commercial properties in the southern half of the neighborhood. Carterville Park provides residents with ball courts, playing fields, and five acres of idyllic green space.

The Riviera is a good place to live. There's nothing especially awesome about it, but nothing especially bad about it either. If you want a reliable, clean, convenient, and reasonable location to live (especially when attending BYU), the Riviera is worth considering.

I love living here at the Riviera! The parking here is awful, not enough parking spots for all the residents, especially those who don't go to BYU and can't park anywhere else. Everyone should be able to park in a parking spot if they live here, but I understand with space. The riv is really fun! So many amenities! GYM, volleyball, etc! Lots of activities, and GREAT ward and social environment! The riviera management also puts on fun events as well!

I honestly really enjoyed living here. I had no issues with the management and I enjoyed my ward. I love that we have close access to volleyball as l as other amenities. Parking is unnecessarily expensive and with a pass its still extremely difficult to find a space. The upgraded apartments are nice though and if they offered private rooms, I would probably stay here.

Overall, I loved living at the Riv. We obviously had moments where we had things break and a lot of the amenities were closed because of COVID but I would expect that from any complex. Other than that, I've loved the Riv community and the complex location is ideal. Utilities being included in rent price is also really nice.

I love the Riviera, every aspect has been amazing and I never thought that any off-campus complex could be remotely as nice as this. Of course, all opinions are subjective and I feel like this is the place anyone should go for. The amenities are perfect, and the staff are amazing and personable. I really have enjoyed my experience thus far and havent yet experienced issues. I hope to continue living here for as long as possible!

The Riviera has a pool w/hot tub, two laundromat areas (1 large, 1 smaller). Accessble location. A bit pricey, but the rooms are pretty nice and spacious for college dorms. The doors are on the outside of the rooms (rather than an interior hallway) which allows for great airflow when the weather is nice. The granite countertops are great for putting hot pots/pans on, hvac works great too.

Dishonest and will keep any money they can
They have made me pay multiple fees stemming from their lack of communication. They blame it on the resident's not understanding, when it comes from their team not explaining correctly. I have had to pay over $100 in fees because of this, and the assistant community manager is extremely rude and not understanding of any situation. They absolutely will not give refunds and will steal your money.

They will keep your deposit no matter what
While this is comparable to a lot of Utah housing, the level of honesty of the people is in my opinion questionable. When my boys moved out, we spent the entire day cleaning. My boys are perfectionists, and I was there to double-check. Imagine our surprise when they failed the cleaning check (for the first time of the entire year). We wasted an entire day because of Riviera threats, and I bet NO ONE passes. It's a big pay-off to keep all these kids's money. I have written them an email and will up date if they decide to be honest, but in the meantime, no thanks. My boys will go elsewhere next year, and so will my other children when they graduate from high school. I will not recommend this place.
