Property Ratings at The Roosevelt Apartments
You would never believe this building is 100 years old with the upkeep put into it! I pointed it out to the manager that everything looks so new. She explained that they’ve renovated most units, and continue to do so to make the building look even nicer. I love the feel of the building and the quiet.
I have been a resident here for the past year, and I am thoroughly impressed with the amenities offered. The lobby is a great hangout spot on a sunny day. It has chairs and beautiful plants, it's so relaxing. The neighbors are so sweet and don't cause a commotion. There is a bunch of grassy areas around the outside of the buikding, making it a great spot to walk my dog.
I love living here. I frequently have surgeries and the elevators help a lot! They make it so that I’m able to check the mail, do laundry, and get any bags in easily even during recovery. Without them I’d have to climb 3 flights of stairs like I did in my previous apartment. The staff is well mannered and addressed any concerns that I have within the same day or later in the week. My neighbors are quiet and ask how I’m doing often. It’s such a nice place
I'm really happy with this place. Working at the hospital means that I'm not home often. I come home to find my packages conveniently placed near the mail boxes. When I work nights and sleep days my neighbors are quiet enough that I can sleep without any disturbances. The 2 entrances make it easier to carry groceries and bags into the building, especially on busy days.
After spending a year in a newly renovated studio apartment, I recently upgraded to a spacious 1-bedroom unit. I'm thrilled with the amount of space the apartments offer, and I'm grateful that my landlord was able to accommodate my need for extra room to accommodate my growing collection of belongings!
Since living at The Roosevelt Apartments many years ago, there have been several improvements made within. There’s a new property manager that takes great care of the building and its tenants. The newer maintenance crew addresses repair and emergency issues promptly. The new owner makes sure needs are met in a reasonable timeframe. It’s clean in every aspect. My neighbors are polite & respectful. The building is always quiet, especially considering how many units are here. You wouldn’t know otherwise. There's new security locked doors and 24/7 surveillance cameras that keep everyone safe. There’s lighting and cameras to the parking lot and sidewalk of the building. There’s 4 new washers in the coin-op laundry room that are regularly maintained. There’s a beautiful courtyard out front that is very inviting & peaceful. There have been many updates to the interior of the building. It’s pet, elderly, and child-friendly. We have a maid that cleans hallways, stairwell, laundry room, and common areas daily. It smells and looks clean.
I work late nights and live in a 2-bedroom apartment in this building. It's reassuring to know that the parking lot and sidewalks are well-lit and monitored by security cameras. Additionally, I appreciate that the owner has changed the keys to the security lock metal doors, ensuring that only current tenants have access.
My grandmother lives in this building, and I visit her a lot. It's always super clean and quiet, which is nice. The place has a really welcoming vibe, making it a great spot for her to live. I always feel at home when I'm there.
I have a friend who lives at the Roosevelt. This friend is looking at elderly housing because she is afraid to complain. Repairs are not done in a timely manner. My friend has been unable to use the laundry room for a few weeks. Likewise, this friend said a note was put on a few neighbors door saying they must pay an additional $25 dollars more then their lease. The people in this building don't complain mostly because they are older, or addicts. There are a lot of break ins and drug activity. The police got one set, but the staff is questionable. The staff, especially the manager, are extremely unprofessional. There are nasty messages written in markers from the manager to or from whoever all over the area near the mailboxes and front door. They have signs on the outside saying they are improved but I don't see how.
