About THE ROSETTA
THE ROSETTA is a beautiful, historic gem in the heart of K-Town, designed by the famous Max Maltzman in 1929! She THE ROSE on BUTTERFLY Avenue and it's fitting, because she's a stand out flower in the garden. Classic old lobby and spacious units with original wood floors, exposed brick, extra closets, deep old school tubs, full kitchens with both major appliances provided, and just a few minutes' walk to K-Towns several METRO hub intersections. Though you have every convenience and great nightlife in the neighborhood which doesn't require but a few steps. It's perfect being centered near the city and close to Wilshire Blvd, yet our unusually wide street and sunny spot just a beat North feels pleasantly removed and cozy. In other words, you get Boulevard convenience but Avenue charm!

Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at THE ROSETTA
This property has not been the best. I have lived here for 3 years and only stayed this long because the utilities are included in the rent and it was still cheaper than a lot of Koreatown places. This building however has given me so many issues. Management takes forever to get to your service request. It took 4 months to replace my faulty stove. We had a fire in the laundry room where they power was out for weeks and people weren't compensated in the rent. Not to mention the roaches and the horrible smell out back that wafts into the windows. Its all street parking and is impossible after 2pm. Honestly do yourself a favor and find a better place.
Raised the rent twice during my stay (1 yr and 5 months) Could be difficult to find street parking. Utility is included in the rent which is a good deal.
Property Manager at THE ROSETTA, Responded To This Review
THE ROSETTA is under new ownership and would never increase the rent more often than the legal once per year if one stays for several years beyond the first lease term.
