While Capitol Hill may conjure images of national landmarks and policymaking, it’s also one of the largest and oldest residential neighborhoods in D.C. Rowhouses of various styles and periods sit along tree-lined streets in Capitol Hill, as well as several apartment buildings and condominiums. Known for its walkability, Capitol Hill is teeming with community gardens and local parks, including Stanton Park and Garfield Park, in addition to all kinds of international cuisine. The historic Eastern Market and Barracks Row offer a wide range of culinary delights and shopping opportunities.
Capitol Hill is convenient to multiple Metro stations, I-695, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, allowing residents simple commutes and travels.

Property Ratings at The Rushmore
Amazing building. I have been here for a year now, and the building is quiet. There's a gym and an amazing rooftop that you can see the capitol from that I love! In a great area with plenty of restaurants near, but not too much that it's crowded, and the manager made my move in so helpful, I'm so grateful to Angel.
Management changed over the summer and it was a nightmare the transition. The area is very unsafe and it became really unpleasant to live there.
Property Manager at The Rushmore, Responded To This Review
We're truly sorry you feel that way, though we can't help but disagree with your assessment of our community and management team. In fact, we're proud of the five-star environment we've established here, and we remain committed to improving our service as opportunities arise. In any case, please contact our leasing office directly if you wish to discuss your thoughts further. We're always available to help!
Serious security concerns when I lived there. I moved out within a month with managements permission to break lease but was charged an additional month. Much better value and management companies in DC.
