Property Ratings at The Saint Mary
Stay away! Management is horrible. We had no hot water for MONTHS and every time we called ( that they answered) they would send someone to “feel” our water, and then not do anything about it. We took cold/lukewarm showers for about 4 months. The blinds are so thin that you can see inside of every apartment, so be ware if you move there anyone can see you. Some of the maintenance people were incredible rude, unprofessional and incapable. We asked to change our air filter when we moved in, and he said he couldn’t do it and laughed at us for asking that. From the whole crew that works there there was one nice guy , that was new. And he is the only one that actually helped us. People get their bikes stolen all the time in there and the trash that you pay extra to be picked up sometimes are not picked up, or they leave half of the recicle trash in the trash. After you move out they will find many reasons to charge you and milk the money from your insurance or from you. The apartment looks amazing on the outside, but the headache you will get inside is not worth it. I do not recommend living there. I vouch for the bad reviews i read in here.

Where to begin?...dog poop everywhere, paper thin window shades, trash in the hallways, shared hot water that is unreliable at best, constantly broken electric gates and loud neighbors, all of which the front office pretends to care about but never follows up on. Let's be clear - this place wants you to sign a lease and then leave them alone. Beware. You have been warned.

The Saint Mary has exceeded all of my expectations! I moved here from the Midwest without having an opportunity to tour the apartments in person but Preston gave me a virtual tour and was able to answer all of my questions. This made a stressful move, much easier! Visually, the apartments are stunning! They are very spacious and all of the appliances and materials are high quality. I have yet to hear my neighbors (which is a major bonus after previously living in a building with thin walls). The pool and gym are top notch and the grounds are well kept. There are a lot of different areas for my dog to go potty and roam around, and they also provide little baggies for you! If you are not a downtown person (like myself) this location is perfect. It is in a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighborhood and every major area in Austin is not more than 25 minutes away. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience here so far and would recommend The Saint Mary to all!

I gave this apartment a one star but I wish I could give it zero. My sister and I lived here for 1 month until we had to terminate our lease early because half of our electricity never worked. Since we work from home, having our electricity working is a must! We let them know that it didn't work when we first moved in and they didn't send someone to come look at for over a week. Even after they finally sent someone (after multiple phone calls and emails), our electricity still didn't work. We tried getting in contact with the main office again to let them know and they would still never answer. We would call multiple times in a day and still no one would answer. Eventually they sent the electrician over again, and they still didn't fix anything and we still had no electricity. We kept calling them and emailing them again to let them know and they still never responded. We eventually emailed them letting them know that we wanted to leave because it was not right that we never had working electricity. They still didn't respond. Three days later, they decided to send someone, without our knowledge, to come look at our electricity. As two young girls, having a strange, old man knocking on your door first thing in the morning and being expected to let them in was a terrible feeling. We had no knowledge of them sending anyone and they still hadn't responded to any of our other messages. When we explained to them why we couldn't live there anymore, they were very unprofessional about it. Whoever I was speaking to would not give me any clear answers and kept avoiding our issues. Even with the very clear issues as to why we were leaving, it felt as if they were somehow our fault. We were charged so much money to leave when they were the reason why. I felt as if we were being taken advantage of because we refused to argue against the charges in fear of being charged more. In summary, move somewhere else! While I'm aware that there are a few good reviews about this place, it is in your best interest to stay far away from The Saint Mary. They pull you in with good deals and a nice outer appearance but they are not as pretty on the inside.

I lived here for a month. Yes a MONTH. It was the month from hell. Absolutely horrible customer service, very unprofessional, and extremely unhelpful. While living there our electricity never fully worked which was a big issue because I run a business from home. I contacted them multiple times about it. It was just a waiting game on when and if they would ever get back to me. They finally sent out someone to fix it and it still wasn't fixed. They sent someone out again and still no change. I finally said I had enough and I would like to terminate my lease. After that they sent the electrician out the next day without notifying me whatsoever. A strange older man knocking on my door first thing in the morning was not nice. As a young girl this is not a nice feeling knowing that my apartment building is just sending people to my apartment without my knowing and then I'm expected to let them in. That was one of the final straws for me and I continued with my lease termination. I feel as if I was really screwed over throughout that whole process. Never once throughout this whole process did I speak to a manager. I was scared to argue too much in fear they would take even more money from me. IN SUMMARY STAY AWAY.

This place is amazing. Built well, best appliances, huge floor plans, views, lots of dogs, great neighbors. We love living in this quiet suburban area called "Circle C". These apartments are super nice and the management makes it worth while to live here by working on making it better, and hosting cool and safe events throughout the year. Any reviews you see that are older than a couple months are about previous management. COME CHECK IT OUT!

Absolutely love it at the Saint Mary Apartments!! The images of their units is what first drew me and husband to come take a look and we were not disappointed!! The apartments are beautiful, we have been complimented every time our few visitors have come over. The pool is incredible (especially for the hot summers!) plenty of space to socially distance yourself in chairs and in the 2 pools. I’ve only been to the gym a couple times due to the pandemic but it has great equipment and sanitizing wipes! The staff is very attentive and helpful and every neighbor I have met so far has been delightful. There are families, single professionals, young couples, single parents etc. which we love! Every walk of life is here at the Saint Mary. I’ve also heard great things about maintenance staff but have never had to call them ????. Overall a great, beautiful, welcoming community.

I've been living here for about a year now and absolutely love the modern finishings, the beautiful amenities, the area, the people, and staff! I previously lived closer to downtown Austin but I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle while still remaining close. The area is so nice and clean and there's hiking and biking trails all around. Close to wineries and breweries as well! Maria in the front office is incredibly helpful and always going the extra mile to make sure resident needs are met. I highly reccomend these apartments
