North Atlanta refers to several communities in the northeastern stretches of Atlanta. Among these communities are Brookhaven, Chamblee, and Doraville. While each community has its own distinct flavor, all of them are largely suburban with vibrant stretches of commercial areas and tranquil residential neighborhoods clustered on tree-lined streets.
North Atlanta is accessible to the iconic Buford Highway, where delectable international restaurants and cafes abound, from Vietnamese fare to Colombian cuisine and everything in between. North Atlanta residents typically enjoy easy access to I-285 and I-85 as well as Marta’s Gold line.

Property Ratings at The Savoy
New renters and lease renew-ers watch out, you are now forced into their $75 a month internet plan (whether you use it or not) which is only 250 megabits. For perspective, Xfinity had gigabit connections for $55 a month. This is a shady practice.
Property Manager at The Savoy, Responded To This Review
We appreciate you sharing your concerns. Our goal with the internet plan is to offer a convenient, high-speed service tailored for our community’s needs. While it may not suit everyone, we believe this option provides consistent connectivity without the need for residents to set up or manage external contracts. However, we understand it might not meet everyone's specific requirements, and we're always here to discuss individual needs or feedback. Please feel free to reach out to our team directly if you’d like to chat more about this.
When needing as temporary (annual) place to truly live this is the location. Quality grounds, gym, well kept up property. You will not only feel welcomed but invited! This community is a must see and then you will want to stay. Spacious and quiet!

Love it here. Apartments are clean, and secure. Staff is polite and does a great job taking care of the apartments.

Thanks for the 5 stars! We appreciate your kind words about our staff and community! Have a great day!
Love my apartment! It’s a great space for the price that I’m paying. I have a view of the lake which has ducks, and turtles. My daughter is so amazed by the ducks. Office changed a few time over the last year, but i have no complaints.

Thank you! We're honored that you took a few moments to write us such a glowing review! We're so glad to hear you're loving our community and the adorable wildlife that also call The Savoy their home. Hope you and your daughter have a great day!
I have lived at The Savoy Apartments for 2 years now and I will NOT be returning. Do not let the nice photos fool you. Management is always changing. The last manager (Stephanie) never introduced herself, but was very quick to try and tow people cars for parking in a parking space. They send out automatic emails and then want to blame the system about you getting wrong information. Mold has been growing in my apartment and the Morguard company wants to make you responsible for everything for fixing the problem before they step in and do something about it. I would not recommend living over here to anyone. These apartments are nice on the outside, but the office staff is trash and think the tenants are beneath them. I can’t wait to move. The only positive thing is the maintenance team.

Hello, We appreciate your feedback and we're sorry to hear of your frustrations. We understand it's unsettling to experience change within the management team. However, we strive to provide the best for our residents and we want to assure you that The Savoy is in great hands now with Malcolm is our community manager. We'd like the opportunity to resolve any further issues and, hopefully, instate a better relationship. Please email our community manager, Malcolm, at mallen@morguard.com to schedule a meeting so that we may address and resolve any past or current concerns. Thank you, The Savoy Team
I used to enjoy living at the Savoy. I lived here for over two years and my first year was great; I felt safe and the complex stayed fairly clean. Unfortunately, things have gone extremely down hill over the past year. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for somewhere to live. Even my neighbor who has enjoyed living here for over 9 years is trying to get out ASAP because it’s gotten so sketchy. It’s not rare to see cops in the building multiple times a week dealing with domestic violence and other weird situations. Oh and don’t be surprised if your car window gets smashed overnight, break-ins happen quite often in the parking garage. We had four in one month last year! I hope you don’t need to use the elevators because a least one of the three of the elevators at the complex is broken at all times. The stairwells are disgustingly dirty and management doesn’t seem care to fine people for leaving trash in random places, including the parking garage and hallways. The parking garage is a cluster as well - It’s unfortunate that they won’t put in cameras to ensure the safety of their residents. Maybe if the gate was working correctly that would help but they just leave it for weeks and weeks when people run into it. Before, old management would fix the gate within hours of it breaking. I’ve also had packages both lost and never arriving to my door because there is so much miscommunication with the front office. Honestly the front office is a whole cluster within itself with incompetent staff. Back to safety, I have seen people using rocks and trash to prop open main doors where normally you would need a key card to get in. I have notified the front office multiple times and they haven’t done anything. It’s no wonder we have so many car break-ins and random people walking through the hallways. Also, there is constantly trash, cigarettes, large full trash bags, and old food in the stairwells. The hallways will always smell like pot or cigarettes because the residents treat the complex like absolute crap. The trash compactor is always overflowing and people (including non-residents) are leaving couches and old furniture in the street by the trash compactor. But thanks, management, for redoing the stone work by the pool, that’s really what we needed. The only good thing is the square footage you can get for the price and the maintenance team. Totally not worth it though to feel unsafe! Don’t move here!

We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your last year living here. Since you moved out in May and our new management team just took over at the end of April, you unfortunately weren't able to reap the benefits of the many improvements we've recently implemented. For example, we now have 24-hour security patrolling the parking garage consistently throughout the night, and we're pleased to report no car break-ins have been reported since January of this year. We do have cameras covering some areas of the parking deck, and we're currently in the process of installing several others throughout the community. Also, we've rearranged our cleaning schedule and now provide an additional 4 hours/week of housekeeping services for the hallways. The hallways, parking deck and stairwells are also monitored and maintained daily by our maintenance staff. If you're willing to discuss your Savoy experience in more detail and/or interested in learning more about everything we're currently doing to better the community, please call our office anytime at 770-455-0039 or email our community manager, Justine, directly at jhammack@morguard.com. We're grateful you chose to call The Savoy home, and we wish you all the best. Sincerely, The Savoy Team
The Savoy Apts are very spacious the best in perimeter you're not gonna find any apartment in this area for the size that you're getting and the price point.I have been a resident at The Savoy Apts for over eight years I have seen a lot of management come and go and I have to say Tome by far is my favorite I have read some of the past reviews about management everybody's entitled to their opinion but the one thing I will have to say is that she is fair she is by the book. And when you're living in community of apartment you have to be by the book . She's cleaned up the residency there use potholes in for the residence parking she came in and had those paved we never had a grill by the pool so we were unable to barbecue during the summertime she had that installed. That was a big plus having a barbecue . She tackled a parking issue because their were people that were abusing the parking. She hired a cleaning staff to come in and clean the hallways clean the elevators clean the mail room. Like I said I've been here for eight years and I've seen a lot of management come and go I can tell you with 100% certainty Tome is the best manager I have seen personally so far. Yimeka
Property Manager at The Savoy, Responded To This Review
Thank you SO much, Yimeka! Your kind words are sincerely appreciated! We're incredibly lucky to have you as a loyal, longterm member of our community, and we hope you stay with us for another 8 years or more!
My car has been broken into not once but twice. They still don't have any cameras and have not increased security to the complex. But they hired some fake security who patrols the lot but really just sits on the first floor. This is an expensive not updated complex that doesn't understand how important it is to keep you and your property safe, probably because none of the staff actually lives here. I can't wait until my lease is up!
Property Manager at The Savoy, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback, and we're very sorry to hear your car has been broken into. Please note we have requested that the local authorities provide the community with more frequent patrols, and we do have cameras installed in certain parts of the property. If you're interested in sitting down to disucss your concerns in more detail, please contact the office anytime to schedule an appointment with our community manager, Tome. We look forward to working together to improve your Savoy experience! Sincerely, The Savoy Team
The apartments at the Savoy are very spacious and the best of its kind in the Perimeter area. The only downside to living at the Savoy is the parking and Its very hard to have guest over.
