Property Ratings at The Scarswold
Looks pretty from the outside, but this place has all the problems associated with a 100-yr old building. We had flying squirrels and cockroaches in our unit & Could never get them under control. Old bathrooms that can never be updated. No soundproofing whatsoever, so you hear every dog, toilet flush, and your neighbors. Nothing you can do. Every time you turn on the A/C you get a face full of mold. Turn on the stove vent, and half a cockroach flew across the kitchen. Just tired of the constant pests. No place to park, so you have to drive around Garth Rd until you find a spot, then walk, which is annoying and inconvenient. Never used the fireplace, but it looks nice and is real. The Super and his family is very nice and helpful. Garth Rd has many conveniences, like restaurants and the train station. Good luck
