West Bench is a charming suburb of Boise located roughly five miles west of downtown. Churches, businesses, medical centers, and schools reside in West Bench, but the neighborhood still offers a suburban vibe. The area’s residential streets are lined with ranch-style single-family homes and apartment communities that range from affordable to upscale. The neighborhood boasts excellent public schools and offers a family-friendly environment. Near the south end of town, you’ll find an abundance of retailers, restaurants, family-friendly entertainment, fitness centers, and more. Boise Towne Square sits just a few miles south of West Bench and offers over 180 shops, including department stores and casual eateries. Residents enjoy proximity to Downtown Boise for work and play, as well as access to surrounding attractions like Ann Morrison Park.

Property Ratings at The Seasons Apartments
The walls and floors are paper thin and the whole complex in general is shoddy. You will hear the people below you and people above you walking. This includes your upstair neighbor's loud morning alarm and your downstair neighbor's snoring at night. The general aesthetic of the apartment is just not good and you can get something for a lot better in neighboring towns. To go on, the amenities building is never available to you when you need it. The hot tub was closed 75% of the time during my lease. My AC was broken for WEEKS until the service request was finally fulfilled. Finally, management is hard to reach and withheld almost half of my security deposit for some very questionable things. Beware of this complex and management.
The Seasons really worked with us when we were applying. They were honest with expectations and deposits/fees. They helped us in hold the place while we delt with our procrastinator roommate. I can’t praise the maintenance enough!! Two minutes after putting in my work order the manager called to arrange my maintenance needs! When I moved in they fixed all the issues I found the same day. They keep the grounds safe, clean and well maintained! They are professional! We had an ancient fridge that was near death and it was replaced within 2 hours of our maintenance request. The office is great as well. I’ve heard some tenants say the manager isn’t nice but Erica is amazing! Property management is hard work she has to be strict for everyone’s safety but the staff is very kind, understanding, non invasive and they care about their tenants. The apartments are not your brand new tip top of the luxury but even a little dated they are spacious with wonderful layouts! ESPECIALLY for the price! In a market where rent is sky high The Seasons is still under “market value” that similar sized/aged apartments are. I love my apartment and it works great for a couple with roommate (I live in a 2/2 that is basically dual masters on third floor). Also they come with washer and dryer! For the location being by the mall it is shady and quiet on my patio. All I see is trees. Once in a blue moon do I hear noisy traffic. It is apartment life, I do hear my neighbors below occasionally yell at each other or my neighbors next door’s bathroom fan but for apartments it’s relatively quiet. People below said they hardly hear the upstairs. The neighbor below them has been there for years and hardly hears them! Apartments life means you will occasionally hear neighbors! Also as someone super sensitive to cigarette smoke. The entire property is smoke free!! As well as pet friendly. I’ve never seen poos in the lawn either. Parking can get cramped but everyone gets one dedicated spot and it doesn’t cost extra. They pay W/S/T and you’re responsible for G/E etc. When it snowed our sidewalks and parking was immediately cleared/salted. My only complaints is the kitchen doesn’t have much storage & no dedicated pantry. I am a weary renter having worked in property management, I’ve seen and delt with shady practices with slum buildings... I LOVE The Seasons! I am a year in here about to resign lease & so happy!
These apartments aren't worth the luxury prices they are asking for on the website. Management is raising the prices without anything to show for it. It doesn't look like they have upgraded any units since they were built in 1989. The playground was never fixed since it broke. Floor boards creak and you can hear footsteps clearly. If you are moving to Boise, look elsewhere and don't get suckered into a lease. Don't trust the managers here. They will act nice to you and then treat you and your property as an apartment number later. Knock on someones door and ask them about noise levels and see for yourself. Have a friend go to a top floor and you on the bottom. Don't just make a decision based on the management, website and the model apartment.
The following in an opinion of a previous/current tenant: Do you dream of vividly hearing your neighbor shutting doors, washing their clothes and walking through their apartment? If so, read on. It might be so bad that you can track your neighbor's movements because the floors creak so much. You may want to think twice about bringing/having kids in these apartments because the floors transmit, rather easily; low frequency sounds like thuds and bumps. Crying baby? You better hope and pray you live near some very understanding people. Management friendliness is just so-so. At first, the management appears friendly to you but the quality of management appears to be sub-par. It appears that they have nowhere close to a regular maintenance routine. Rather, it seems they are only interested in fixing things that are broken instead of preventing them from breaking in the first place. Parking is pretty standard for an apartment complex but could be better. The upside is that the pool is very enjoyable in the summer. The exercise room appears minimal. IF and that is a big if, you share walls with a retired couple or someone who never is home, these apartments can be great, but I would not suggest for active adults, a family or anyone in the least bit sensitive to noise. On a side note, it is sad that those retired couples are apparently being priced out of this complex. But please, do not be fooled by the beautiful looking metropolitan apartment they show you, the material condition of the rooms you will live in might be quite different. It appears to me that this complex is certainly not luxury which the website and staff claim.
I have lived here for a couple years now and I love this place. I had some random problems but they were fixed fast and Ashley and Erica are awesome. They care about making it a good place to live and they will help in any way they can.
Really great apartment complex. It's close to a very busy part of Boise, yet it's tucked away in an area that is peaceful. The staff is really helpful and are always available for anything you need. There is a pool and a basketball court, which I both utilize. I haven't had any problems since moving here a 15 months ago. It's definitely worth the slightly pricey rent.
