North Laurel lies 20 miles southwest of Baltimore and roughly the same distance from Washington, DC. This suburban swath of Laurel offers upscale houses and apartments for rent, all with spacious lots and plenty of breathing room for residents. Well-maintained green spaces and an overall sense of the natural world make North Laurel a sought-after Maryland locale.
You’ll find the majority of the shopping and dining opportunities in neighboring communities, but there are a few local spots to be found along Scaggsville Road. There are plenty of parks along the Patuxent River, but when it comes time to head to the city, the Columbia Pike and Interstate 95 will ferry you anywhere with ease.

Property Ratings at The Seasons
The seasons is a great community to live in. From the residence to the staff it's a nice vibe and it's pretty peaceful. Our leasing staff is always super helpful and informative. They are always personable and responsive when something needs to be taken care of and I appreciate that from them. It makes living here a breeze. Tina, Dana and Monica are amazing! but Tina really be holding us down. Thanks again!

Hi User! Thank you for recommending us in your review! We’re glad we made your experience with us a great one and will be happy to help you again soon.
Title kind of says it all. Management is almost impossible to get ahold of, and they are VERY demeaning when you do go visit them in person. They sent out eviction notices to EVERYONE last week (the week of Thanksgiving no less), regardless of whether you were behind on rent or not. Management sent a very weak hearted "oops" letter that took no responsibility for the incident, nor assured it wouldn't happen again. This is in-line with my every other experience I've had with management. They determined I was responsible to pay for repairs to the coax cable (for internet) when it was damaged during A/C repairs. In addition, the cable guy was delayed in repairing it after finding a nest of rats in the the Air handler room. Maintenance is good about responding to work requests, but they're workmanship is poor at best. Further, I've had to submit about 20 repair tickets in my 5 months staying at this community (average of about 1 per week). I could go on and on about problems I've had with this property, but I think there's a maximum message length for reveiws and I'm not trying to type this all out for a third time.

Hello User, Thank you for your feedback. Please accept our most sincerest apologies.
Terrible place to live. Do not rent house here. !-Rat houses every were and rats are every were. 2-If you come here, no matter how many years you stay, they will charge you $50-$100 for each hole or dirty wall. 3- anytime you need maintenance, they bring excuse why they cant fix it and close the ticket. 4-very very rude and unfriendly staff. 5-you have one option to pay rent and that is online, and then they charge you extera $50 for convenience pay method (online). What if I don't want be comfortable and want to pay check and avoid $50. THERE IS NO WAY.

ROACHES and poor responsiveness from management. Moving in a signing the lease was easy, our leasing agent Maria was super helpful and pretty responsive through the whole process. The first day we moved here we encountered 3 roaches the size of my thumb. We let management and maintenance know and no one came to do a bug treatment until 3 months later. Meanwhile, there was not a day that went by where we didn’t encounter at least one roach. There’s were several other issues we had where maintenance did not respond in a timely or efficient manner. I emailed the community manager and even the regional manager and no one ever responded to my emails. I was able to meet with the community manager but only after an incident that resulted in the ending of our lease, which we were actually happy about because our experience here was so terrible and we have a toddler to consider. The community manager was not pleasant at all but still professional. Still nothing was done to reconcile the issues we experienced besides an apology. It seems like leaving a bad review is the best way to get a response from someone around here.

I want to move to the Laurel area so I visited the Seasons Apartments because they had good reviews. I see why, I was greeted and helped by Tina. She is awesome! Tina answered all my questions and I left with the information I needed about the property. More rental offices should have people like her.

Lived at The Seasons for about three years. Rent is reasonable for the area, but you can do a lot better. Apartments are old, and have a lot of maintenance issues--flooding from faulty plumbing, ACs that break every summer, and repairs often require that they turn off the electric or water to entire buildings. Location is also awful depending where you are in the complex. If you're on Covered Wagon Drive, know that you will be about 20 yards away from a McDonald's and gas station, which means that there will be a lot of traffic and noise right by where you live. Make them tell you which unit you'll have before you sign. The neighbors are also just... bad. Noise--late at night and into the early morning--is a constant issue and management addresses it only by sending an e-mail to all residents every once in a while. I've seen drugs done openly on patios and in the parking lot. Dogs are often off-leash, and many residents don't pick up after them. Seriously, no reason to live here. There are cheaper options available if you're willing to travel just a little farther to DC. And if you DON'T commute to DC, there's absolutely no reason to live here.

Bed bugs! Bed bugs ! - no wonder they make you sign a bed bug addendum to have you pay for treatment in case you get bed bugs during your tenancy. Though they get to choose the contractor for you, when the job is not done right they diss you and make false claims that you did not do the pre-treatment preparation right and that is why the treatment did not work. They dont supervise or even come by to ensure the the treatment is done right by the contractor. And although you pay for the services of the contractor they will not tell you how long the warranty is or if there is one. As long as they are not payign for treatment of the bed bugs they dont care. They dont care if the bugs spread to other units because they will have the tenants pay for the treatment anyway. They also have very rude, uncaring and unprofessional management that will bash you and not try to help you. Keep off this place like plague!

So I have lived here since December 2020. I have enjoyed it so far. People seem nice. Parking sometimes is an issue, but its manageable. Tons of families so my kids made friends easily. I moved here so my kids could walk to school since it is on the property. The office is so accommodating. Always doing something to help and assist the community. I was able to get my vaccine because they had offered it on property. I look forward to summer and being able to take my kids to the pool.

I have been living here since January 2020. Everything for the most part has been great. Some residents need education on how to live, but other than that it has been good. I would like to point out that since living here the office has had multiple food drives for us, there has been pet food drives as well, COVID testing at the office (didn't have to go anywhere) and now I got an email we can get our vaccine at the office on 5/10/21. This team has really went the distance when it comes to providing services to us during a global pandemic. Thank you team Seasons for all you have done for us.

Hey, I am a recent move out. I loved living at Seasons. Lived there for 2 years. Only moved due to my job relocating me north. I must say I was nervous to move out due to the reviews I was seeing. But i am posting a review as everything went good for me and felt the need to share. So I did get a lengthy packet of papers that i did not fully read when I had to terminate my lease. However; I did the best I could when moving out. I got a statement from user CPerryman that outlined my charges. They were pretty straight forward and I was aware that they would be charged. Due to moving out before my lease ended, I called in when I got this statement and spoke with Casey. She went over the account with me and explained line by line. She also offered a payment arrangement for the balance of termination fees to help me out as well. So I will say I did not follow the paperwork but was charged accordingly. So don't always go off of what you read. The office was also super helpful during my 2 years there. Hope my review is helpful!
I have been very disappointed with my experience at The Seasons. Maintenance issues get dragged out for weeks, appliances are old and cheap, the management team is rude. Do not move here.

Great place to live. Love my apartment. The leasing process was pretty easy. The office ladies were so nice and welcoming. I did my move in report with my agent and she was so nice. I went to the office for the gym and that was a pleasant experience as well. So far so good!

Hi everyone. I am a newer move in and have had a great experience thus far. The leasing team was great and my apartment was good. The community is very clean and maintained. I had a maintenance issue and they handled that same day. Coming from another community that took weeks, this is top notch! Recently I had a complaint and worked with Mirna and Casey in the office. They were prompt and responsive and I felt heard and guess what- issue was resolved. You all will love it here. Thanks for what you do.

Good place to live But you'll pay to renovate the apartment when it's time to leave for Normal Wears & Tears. You'll pay to replace to carpet for the next tenant no matter the conditions, even if you get it cleaned professionally (No stains no tears). It's simply the norms here. The place is good, no question about it. If you plan on moving in here, spending more time acquiring about the end of your final lease (when you leave) or else you will be surprised. After 3 years here, I was slapped with $1200 for repairs for normal wear & tear.

Thank you for your response Traci. We do apologize about your disappointment. Please know we follow the lease under move out procedures. We also send a notice to vacate confirmation outlining the move out procedures as a refresher. Lastly, we take photos of the condition the home was left in and it depicts if charges are warranted. Should you need the photos or invoices the property paid, just let us know. We are happy to send them. We wish you the best of luck.
Hey, I have lived here now for about a year and a half. I love it! I love my neighbors and the building I live in. People are so helpful and nice. One thing I would ask is that people take better care of their patios. What a mess sometimes! But the ladies in the office are always helpful and easy to work with. Casey has been responsive when it comes to dealing with issues I am going through and Mirna has been such a great help during renewal. Monica and Patti are awesome as well! Maintenance is quick. You will love it here if I say so myself :)

If you are friendly with mice? Feel free to move in to The Season! They are complementary with the newly renovated apartments. Great vinyl floors on most first floor units, pretty open floor plans for 700 sqft, and a townhouse-like feel if you get a first floor or two story unit. So while you are sitting/sleeping in your apartment with nice aesthetics, you can hear the mice/rats running/dancing (whatever they do) in the walls, in the ceiling, or scraping at the walls to create new holes. But don't worry, maintenance will come and lay sticky traps down and seal up the holes with steel wool until the SUPER MICE and rats open up another one and chew on your dishwasher's hose until it leaks all over your kitchen. Feel free to leave fruit out on the counters too; they always appreciate a delicious apple as a snack ;) Oh no? You don't like that? Well, if you do sign the dotted line out of ignorance like we did, you can just pay the buyout of 2 months rent on top of your rent that is due, so you can leave within 30 days. (If Mice/Rats were not a factor, would have given 4 stars)

I have lived here since October and have no complaints. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The leasing staff is extremely prompt in their responses and happy to help. Their maintenance requests have also been completed same day. I would definitely suggest giving this place a visit!

I love living here. Moved in March 2018 into a townhome and it is so nice and always feels like home. They are fast with maintenance and they are quick with responding to questions. I am hoping to stay another year. Also, the area is quiet and safe, which is def a plus!
I stayed here for about 16 months. During my stay I was fairly pleased but I was very upset on move out. The apartment grounds are keep up decently and maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. The management office is responsive and mostly reasonable (see below why I say mostly reasonable.) They have free trash pickup from your apartment door and plenty of dumpsters. Parking can be hard to find especially after 6PM and on the weekend. On move out I was told my apartment passed inspection and was properly clean. About two weeks later I receive my final move out statement and was charged $110 for carpet cleaning. When I contacted the management office I was told that on move out I needed to provide a receipt of professional carpet cleaning or pay a $110 fee. When I told them there was no place in the lease stating that I need to have professional carpet cleaning on move out I was told this fee is something that they do for all residents and they couldn't not charge me the fee due to some fair housing law. They also agreed that my apartment was sufficiently clean. I contacted the Howard County complaints office to dispute the fee. When Howard County got involved The Seasons changed their story and now was saying there were grease stains on my carpet and that the apartment was not acceptably clean on move out. There were no "grease" stains on my carpet and I have a voice mail that states my apartment was acceptably clean and an email that states it was clean. I really didn't want to leave a negative review but I feel I was treated very unfairly on move out.
New management is HORRIBLE the worst!!! They will tell you a bunch a lies and will NOT honor your lease. They will rob you of your security deposit upon moving out.
If I could give less than one Stars I would give -10 Stars for the following reasons: I had moved into this location March 24th 2017. My beginning months of living here were excellent!! The staff is friendly the place is clean and the apartment was quiet. Sometime in May the leasing office called me with a complaint from other residents living in my Cul-de-sack complaining that my cats had used the bathroom outside. So I started cleaning up and watching my cats very closely as I had never expected them to use the bathroom outside. I've never seen them use the bathroom outside. The very next day I get another call from a different person in the office complaining about my cats needing to be on a leash. Yes I get the point about the signs all over the neighborhood pets much be on a leash but cats are cats. Should the squirrels be on a leash as well? Anyways the whole cat situation is the least of my worries at this point. In July my father passed away and my mother became sick and I needed to break my lease and do an emergency move into El Paso Texas. This is something I can't control and I completely agree to pay for the breaking lease charge. They had added in several charges that did not apply and are very unfair and very unreasonable. I was expecting to pay approximately $3,000 instead I get a bill $6,225.23. This is highway robbery and never in my life will I pay this amount to this apartment complex. They far from deserve it and I can make payment plans with them but not in the agreement of the $6,225.23. I can make agreement payment for the $3,000 that I owe them for breaking my lease all the other listed charges are complete BS I make these comments to let all future residents know that if you rent an apartment from this place one your cat needs to be on a leash and two you have to make sure that you repaint the place and rip up the carpet and place your own carpet down before you leave the place otherwise you're going to pay your life. If you're planning on renting from this place may the Lord be with you.
I’ve lived there for 2 years. I loved it at first but things went downhill after a year. A neighbor refused to leash their dog. It’s hard when you walk your dogs and an unleashed dog approaches your dogs and agitate my dogs. My fellow neighbors/friends and I have complained but nothing happened with the people with the unleashed dog. I have told them to leash their dog because it’s the law and I was reprimanded by Patti for telling someone to leash their dog. Patti said, “dogs are like children and people don’t like to be told what to do with their dogs”. It’s safety issue. There are so many children running around late at night. A friend of mine had her bicycle stolen of her porch in broad daylight while she was home and left it unattended for just 10 minutes. There is so much trash and dog poop. The dog park is a breeding ground for bacteria. My dogs have gotten sick a few times. Overall, it’s a nightmare living there and the new management really don’t care about anything.
I have many times tried to contact them about violations of the lease agreement but they do not care. They will not contact you even though it puts many people in harm. Since they do not enforce part of their agreement how many other parts do they not enforce? Most of them that actually take time unless they can get money from the person.

I would give this place a better rating but giving it one star due to Monica in the maintenance department. She’s awful. She will not work with you or be compensated for inconvenience during huge maintenance issues. Recently had a water leak that started from another apartment. Took them over a week to resolve the issue. When I asked for the carpet to be reclean for missing spots for moving furniture, she canceled the request. Gold Oller is doing cosmetic updates but don’t be deceived the apartments are old and basic.
From one of their incompetent emails "Please make a note that we are currently in the process of making changes to our Resident Payment Portal. This means that you will not be able to utilize the resident portal for submitting or accessing your payments as of the close of business on Thursday, January 17, 2017. " No where in the email does it say that autopays that are already set will not go through. You have to call them and they pretty much indicate that they are morons and expect you to figure out how to pay them since they cannot figure out how to walk and chew gum at the same time. They should have waited till like Feb 2nd or something so people with autopay (which I think they would love) would be able to give them their money. They know it is going to be an issue but cannot figure how to get their heads out of their butts.
Moving to another state by yourself after graduating from college is truly a challenge within itself. I researched the Laurel community as much as I could and The Seasons came up as one of the best. My first interaction was extremely positive, and I've never looked back. They made the leasing process very easy and were flexible with me as I transitioned from state to state. I'd definitely recommend this community to others! Tons of options and a great staff to help you make decisions.
It is really amazing to leave in this comunity everything is near and the people in the office are very respectul and responsible
I have young children so it's important to live in a place that is convenient and safe. With a playground and swimming pool there is always plenty of entertainment for them. There are also many other young families in the community so it is great that they can play football or baseball in the common areas with their friends. Also, the management is friendly and helpful. Anytime I've had an issue maintenance has arrived within an hour even during evenings and weekends. The Seasons Apartments is a great place to live.
The Seasons is in a great location. The neighborhood is diverse, quiet, and right by the highway which is convenient. I love the amenities: gym, pool, tennis courts, and plenty of parking. I love my duplex and it has in unit laundry. The lay out is adorable and it is an awesome first place for me! There is plenty of storage and I love my kitchen it's perfect for me! It's also a dog friendly neighborhood which is a must.
This townhome community is a great property. The common area are well maintained.

Thank you! We’re glad you appreciate our well-maintained and welcoming community.
We moved in very last minute when our other place wasn't ready. The leasing staff was awesome at getting the process completed quickly. The apartment was in good shape upon move in; only minimal neighbor noise. Love the pool, gym and business center. They are good at upkeep - getting the lines repainted in parking lot now (needed). Only issue is with enforcing rules - feeding cats, cars with flats and people working on cars. But overall, I would move in again in a heart beat -- just not next to the cat lady.
I have lived in several complexes in laurel and this is the best one by far.I have been here 1 year so far .I feel safe when walking my dog at night. There aren't people loitering outfront which is a big deal to me.Quiet neighbors thank goodness. I usually can find parking right out front. I love the laurel area. Shopping and stores is all around. But I was ready to give up on the area before finding this place. The seasons definitely saved the day for me. The move in process was pretty rapid. And I was desperate to get outta my last place. So far so good!!
The apartments here are very clean, updated, and conveniently located close to everything Laurel has to offer. The staff was very helpful walking through the leasing processing and the maintenance crew is incredibly fast and handy! My roommate and I would absolutely recommend these apartments to others!
I've only lived at The Seasons for two months, and I don't have one complaint! From the application process down to the maintenance response...this place is awesome! The staff is ALWAYS a pleasure to talk to no matter what the issue may be. The landscaping is always beautifully manicured. It's quite and I feel safe even on the latest, darkest nights. So far, my neighbors are pleasant and and so are the pets...oh, did I mention the dog park?!? I think I like the dog park more than the dogs! The location is even convenient...close to 95 and shopping! Although I've only been here for 2-3 months, I don't see that anything I've mentioned above changing! And I can honestly say that if I didn't some day want to own my own home, I'd never move!
This is a wonderful place to live. These apartments are in a great quiet area. The staff is very professional and pleasant. Any issues you have the maintenance team usually resolves in the same day. The doggie park is great. There are pools on both sides of the complex, free gym with great updated equipment, and tennis courts. If you want a great place to live in Laurel try the seasons.

The Seasons In Laurel is a great place to live. The Management Company is great and the Maintenance Dept., is always quick to respond. The complex has 2 pools, a gym, cyber cafe, playground and more! And if that's not enough, one of the best elementary schools in Howard County. MD, is 2 minutes away ON FOOT!!! It's the perfect location in the Washington DC Metro area...close to DC, Old Town Alexandria, the National Harbor and Baltimore!!
