Property Ratings at The Seasons of Carmel
Mostly great I like living here for the most part. The only thing that could be better is parking spots and making the parking lot brighter. It is very dark at night and I believe encourages car break ins which has happened on numerous occasions over the last year ian

New Resident I recently moved back from Georgia and the staff at Seasons made my transition seamless. Thanks to Nancy and Payge for all their assistance. I love my new apartment.

It's wonderful to hear that our team, especially Nancy and Payge, made your transition smooth. We're thrilled you love your new apartment! Thanks for choosing Seasons and we're here if you ever need anything.
If you are unfortunate enough to have an upstairs neighbor here, you will hear every single step they take magnified as the sound comes down through the floor. There's also a lot of noise from the garage door going up and down all day and night. My flooring has huge gaps in it vinyl planking, which they will not do anything about. The apartment was dirty and in disrepair when I moved in, and the management did very little about it. Outside doors are often broken for months, there are drainage issues, lots of dead landscaping, dry brown grass, and problems with the pool. For this price point, there are many, many better options out there. Keep looking.

I've lived here for a little over a month and love where I am! My apartment is a little pricey, but I have the Madison, spacious 2BR layout with a beautiful kitchen & bathrooms! Safe & secure. Entry doors are in a locked area similar to a hotel for added safety. Can't get in without a key fob or piggybacking off of others. If you're a dog owner it's the perfect place. Let's of socialization amongst owners, a bark park, trails for walking, & a dog wash in the garage. Great area convenient to 465, Nora, & Carmel! Loved every minute of it so far!
Please, I telling you now, save your money! Do NOT LIVE HERE!! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST YEAR OF MY LIFE! YOU PAY TOP $$$$$ FOR A NICE KITCHEN. NOT WORTH IT!! There is nothing between apartments. In fact - the sound from upstairs is amplified! When they drop something, it sounds like a bowling ball. There's a 50lb kid upstairs that sounds like an elephant running through the apartment. I'm not exaggerating. This is the most uncomfortable living experience of my life. And Seasons of carmel could care less.... STAY FAR AWAY!
My wife and I moved into the Seasons right after we got married. We were in one of the 2 story buildings with a 2 car attached garage and we couldn’t have been happier. The floor plan was really nice and open and we had more than enough room for storage. Though the apartment was already bigger than any of the other new apartments in the area, the vaulted ceilings made it feel huge. I think they are like 16’-17’ tall in some areas. We never heard any of our neighbors and overall felt very at home. We just recently ended up buying a house closer to my job downtown but we now we miss some the features and amenities at the Seasons. When you’re living there the whole place just feels like a nice community. The balconies are bigger than normal and almost everyone has quality furniture and plants out. The clubhouse area has TVs, a pool table, and a shuffleboard table which is always great to have friends BYOB and hang out instead of going to a bar. Not to mention the convenience of having a decent sized fitness center you can walk to in the morning instead of having to make a trip to the gym. I’ve lived in a number of apartment communities around the north side of Indy over the past several years and this one is head and shoulders better than the rest. If we were ever to move back north, we would probably consider moving back in rather than buying a house

I've lived here for almost 6 months, and I am so happy. My husband and I moved here after owning our own home in Chicago. We were a little apprehensive about apartment living, but have found ourselves very happy here - we never even feel like we are in an apartment because we never hear our neighbors. We love the open floor plan in our place, and everything just feels like a real home. Except one thing, you don't have to fix things yourself, because they have a maintenance team who helps with those things...! Someone even collects trash from your front door. The staff here in general is just amazing, they've all gone above and beyond what I'd ever expect. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

7:30 in the morning on a saturday running big machines right outside my apartment is not ok. We pay way to much to have to put up with this. Not only that but construction is ongoing since we moved in. I don't understand why my review was removed I live at these apartment and said nothing but the truth.

I have lived at the Seasons of Carmel since Oct 2015. I understood when I signed my lease that the complex was still under construction but was told every thing would be completed by Dec at the latest. Well it's now August 2016 & it's still under construction. There is still earth moving equipment sitting outside my garage, mounds of dirt with large rocks embedded in them, PVC pipes, bales of hay, a lone port-o-let & weeds up to my knees. I have inquired several times as to when this mess will be cleaned up & the area finally landscaped & all I get is sometime in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Well that deadline has been passed by several months. They even lightly suggest the weather has been the culprit! We had a very mild winter & I don't think rain has been much of a factor this spring & summer. I don't appreciate paying my rent every month & having to see this mess every day. I am embarrassed to have friends & family over. As far as the noise...everyone who has written a review complaining about hearing every neighbors conversations & foot steps is 100% correct. A young lady lives above me & you would think she weighs 400lbs from the sound of her walking around. I bet she doesn't weigh more than 100lbs. There is no sound proofing in these apts. at all! Plus, the only carpet is in the bedroom so it's noisy all the time. I can hear everything my neighbor next to me does or says! I have never lived anywhere that the noise was such a problem. I will not be renewing my lease!!!

Blown away! There is really no other way to put it. I have been a resident at the Seasons of Carmel for almost 5 months now and I absolutely love my experience so far. The leasing agents are all so friendly and welcoming, the apartments are all beautiful, and not to mention an awesome 2 story workout facility, that is by far is the best apartment complex gym that I have ever come across. The leasing staff plan free resident events every month that are truly amazing. To say the least, I am super grateful to be apart of this special community. I encourage everyone reading these reviews to please disregard the ignorant and negative comments about the Seasons. In a nutshell, this place is amazing and I am proud to call it my home. Also, a brand new Pool is about to opened. Going to be a great summer at the Seasons of Carmel!!!!!

I'm so disappointed reading all of these negative reviews because I absolutely love my apartment at The Seasons of Carmel! I moved in in November and have no complaints. I have not been inconvenienced by the construction. The fact of the matter is that I (along with all of the other residents choosing to lease here) knew I was selecting a "new construction" property that was still very much under construction and in the process of being built. That was part of the attraction for me - the opportunity to be the first occupant in my unit. Therefore, I anticipated delays, construction in progress, and the responsibility to communicate any issues I might have as I am the first person living in my unit. Fortunately, I have not had any issues. Some of the below complaints in the other reviews just seem petty and ridiculous to me. No the pool isn't complete, BUT - this is an outdoor pool in Indiana we are talking about.... I wouldn't be swimming in the months of November, December, January, February, and March if it were so that doesn't bother me. I've never had any issues with the gym being too full or having to wait on a machine and I work out during prime times both before and after work. I moved from a community down the street in Carmel and my most recent electric bill saved me over $100 due to the energy efficient appliances at the Seasons. The amenities here are top notch and don't even compare to that of the complex (same price point) that I moved from. I urge everyone reading reviews to check out this property for themselves and form their own opinions because I love my apartment and my new community!

I went to the resident event last night (which by the way, doesn't get ever mentioned at all how many events with free food and wine they have for residents!) and heard some people talking about how there are some nasty reviews online and couldn't believe it. Turns out it's true. I love my apartment, I don't get it! And I have never been bothered by the construction. It's a new apartment complex and I knew going in that it was still under construction. I don't get how so many of these complainers forget that. I rented my apartment in August and everything was clearly still under construction then. It looks like everything is done now other than the pool (but it's February so it's not like we could use the pool if it was done right now anyway). The staff is awesome and always so helpful whenever I have any questions. I've lived in other Barrett and Stokely complexes before and have had good experiences there too. I just can't understand why people seem so unhappy here. It really is a beautiful place and I shopped around a ton and nothing compares to my apartment here. It's disappointing that this place looks like it's getting a bad rap online because my time here has been great. People need to get a life!

We appreciate your feedback and are thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your new home at The Seasons! We are also glad to hear that our Resident Events are well received and a place where residents can get to know their neighbors and our team!
This is quite possibly the worse construction I have witnessed. The Countertops are cut incorrectly, never sealed, water and bacteria soak into them, you can see signs of scratches, dents and cracks and chips in everything from appliances to sinks to the tile in the bathroom. And if you love hearing your roommates personal lives going on inside your apartment - then this is your place. I feel like I have 5 roommates since I can hear clearly conversations and noise on above me and on both sides. If you have pets - pay for a DNA swab that is to ensure the grounds stay waste free - um - no! There is animal waste EVERYWHERE even on sidewalks. And sidewalks and common areas - all under construction and destroyed. Huge cracked broken patches on walk paths. Dog park was last minute shoved on a hill where it retains water is basically unusable unless you want to wash your dog everything it goes out. Ceiling light in garage doesn't work, sliding glass door comes off track and hardly ever wants to latch so I just don't use it anymore. Mud and construction debris EVERYWHERE. Sadly, you can't really hold the office staff accountable. All of these issues are from poor management company. If anyone was paying the least bit of attention to these construction teams they would see they are not skilled, most of their materials are flawed and the physical structures couldn't possibly been acceptable insulated and soundproof. Absolutely a travesty. Prime location for something very nice to have happened and now a poorly built disaster zone sites in the middle of 3 neighborhoods. I am sure they are overjoyed just as much as the residents getting ripped off every month. Also to prospective renters - they charge a $20 convenience charge to pay your rent online. They also have no visitor parking cleared out for certain locations so forget having friends over because residents are using what little extra parking is available. And notice anywhere you see a good review they almost all start with 'I can't wait to move in' I am sure they are all changing their opinions now.

Poor construction, can hear everything from neighbors, moved in the end of September and picked up, oh I don't know, 20 nails in our painted parking lot, discussed it with management that someone was going to get a flat (brushed me off), then I got the flat, they didn't care. Every month there is a new "convience fee" showing up on my already astrnomically prices rent bill. Now, because I face the pond and INCOMPLETE pool, I get another fee. DO NOT MOVE HERE, you will not be pleased. The city of Carmel should be ashamed to allow these thieves to be part of such a wonderful city.

The Seasons of Carmel is nothing but an over priced, cheaply built, partial residence in a nice area. Everything that is not complete is what residents rented for. I move in in October. I was told the garage, pool, and elevators were not complete as far as amenities go. Big lie! Since end of November-beginning of December they finally gave us mailboxes, opened the fitness center, and dog park. However, their website states that we are on the Lenape trail. That is an erroneous lie. Across the street in a different subdivision is where the trail is. The other amenities are not here yet either (paw wash, garden view with observation deck, pool, etc). Have been told will be done soon, need to be patient, construction is ongoing, blah blah. The management do not care. My closet collapsed due to screws being too short. Sliced my leg and broke multiple sentimental items. They told me to turn it in to renter's insurance. All appliances are not balanced, granite not sealed, and flooring coming up. My porch has yet to be completed. This could've been a good complex had the hired the right construction workers, taken time to put the place together, actually took pride and put good wood, sealed granite, etc, and waited to open after everything was complete.

I was one of the first tenants in the main building, and I couldn't be more disappointed with the quality of construction. The builder cut so many corners building the place. I can hear everything my neighbors do. My heat bill is also significantly higher than other apartments I've had in the past, furthering my thoughts on the poor construction. Oh, and that nice gym they take you on a tour of? It's already packed at normal times and the complex isn't even full yet.

We appreciate your feedback. Please contact the office at 317-706-4100 or info@theseasonsofcarmel.com so we can assist you in addressing your noise and electric bill concerns. We are nearing full occupancy, and our 2-story fitness center is quite the attraction. It seems to be that time of year, while people are working on their New Year's resolutions, and we are glad that our residents are taking full advantage of this great amenity!
My husband and I moved into the Seasons of Carmel 3 months ago. We were informed that construction on the complex would be done in October and were never told that there would construction vehicles, equipment, construction workers, dirt piles, etc. right outside our apartment (we live on the first floor). When we contacted the leasing office, they gave us no real answers but told us that it would be taken care of in the upcoming weeks. They have already missed their construction deadline and we still have construction equipment and no development outside our apartment. Our building is fully occupied and instead they decided to clean up all areas outside every other building but ours. The leasing office and property manager (Barrett & Stokley) have been no help and will not take responsibility for the fact that they have dropped the ball. It is very clear that they do not put the happiness of their tenants above everything else. We pay a lot of money to live in our apartment and our entire experience with the Seasons of Carmel and Barrett & Stokley has made us regret ever signing our lease. Moral of the story, they will not be honest with people signing leases about the progress of the complex. Also, do not expect them to take any responsibility for problems that arise while living here. I would recommend this complex to no one.

We appreciate your feedback. Managing a new construction community can be a delicate balance and delays are sometimes inevitable. However, we are excited that the mild winter has allowed our construction of the exterior amenities to be ongoing and we look forward to unveiling those in the upcoming months!
Miranda and the rest of the team is awesome. They are very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure the tenants are comfortable and happy. The place is still brand new, and the amenities aren't done yet, but they look like they will be top notch. For the Carmel area and my sq.ft. and quality, it's a great price. A month in and I regret not signing an 18 month lease already because I have no intention of living anywhere else.
