I went by to look at the property and make plans for an upcoming move and I was impressed by their commitment to going the extra mile. Therese made everything so simple and was very quick with communication! Her office girls were also very kind and helpful. Looking forward to my upcoming move!
All these fake 5 star reviews are a joke & fake and its management writing them. Look at this filthy place. No Security. No Cameras. The Tenants will tell you the truth and a walk around the complex will show you how trashy and unsafe this place is and they have so many hidden fees and want to fine residents for stuff and do not enforce anything at all. They are all talk and no action . This is a very bad apartment complex. Worst Apartments around here. These apartments will never change . How many new management have this place had in last 10 years and nothing is ever done. They do not care about the tenants.
We just moved out of here. Cops always here and they break into everything. Property is always Dirty and Filthy. They charge too many excess fees to residents and way too much on rent. Rough apartments to live in.
Don't recommend these Selena Apartments charges excess fees. Had to get Fire Marshal out here twice for no Fire Extinguisher and Gas Leaks in Laundry room and no Smoke Detectors. This place is half empty now. Tenants got tired of it. Look up how many times Harris County Sheriff have been here in last 3 months. Total Negligence. Avoid moving here.
No laundry rooms at all. Work orders never get taken care of by the office ever. They never listen to residents.

I would not recommend the Selena Apartments. There is alot of crime there. Office people never take care of apartment repairs or request. They never clean up the trash on the grounds. They have no security and its very unsafe. The apartments have lots of Rats & Roaches. They have no laundry rooms for tenants to use. I would avoid living here. Its a nightmare here. We broke lease and left along with many others.
Roaches are horrible, no emergency a/c repair to fix ours laborweekend ekend, we had to go to a motel. They did not compensate us anything. Management was getting things in order but now the new manager is moving the same people in that were tearing up the place and doing all the shooting. The double homicide Thanksgiving day was the end for me.
Lots of upgrades, the staff is great. The unit layout and renovations are perfect. Can't beat it for the price.
The new management team has truly made a difference. The team is quick to respond to calls and takes care of maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Don’t rent here unless you want to get the run around after almost 2 months they still didn’t have an apartment ready they kept giving the apartment I was supposed to get to someone else after my move in date was set they tried to give me an upstairs when I specified downstairs from the first day I spoke with them. They never answer you right away it’s always let me call you within 2 days and still they never call I had to go up to the office multiple times to get answers. They don’t know how to communicate and need to get people that know what they’re doing. Do not give them your business .

This is originally the Graham Apartments and it’s been shootings, reckless kids breaking things, pool doesn’t work. My bathroom ceiling water and tile falling off. They have abandoned apartments with windows bussed out. They don’t fix ANYTHING! they say they will and don’t. My bathroom tubes need to be fixed. The Selena didn’t change anything yet, but the name. Their more focused on the new apartments and making model apartments and not the actual tenants that has problems. They have really bad sewage issues that keep over flowing out the ground with poop. It smells really mad.
The new management is extremely kind and responsive! They're making many improvements throughout to make all of the apartments brand new inside - new appliances, bathrooms, flooring, lighting - great value for the price too! Recommending friends to move here also.
New management is doing an amazing job. Lots of amenities and a very nice staff. Great place to live.
This place is horrible inside & outside. When I say you can't get them to fix anything, The people in the office tell you move out and they will not put it on credit. Every other day the water is off, it is BAD, so if you are looking for a place to stay you would be better staying under a bridge. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!
This complex is quickly deteriorating. I have not had hot in almost a week with no time table on when it's due to be fixed. The property is constantly being sold to new owners. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner. The crime in the complex is also rising.
They do NOT complete maintenance. I've been trying to get my disposal, dishwasher, & toilet fixed for over a year. When I sent mailed requests for maintenance, they refuse it. I am also supposed to be All Bills Paid, as they advertised this, & that's why I moved here. However, 6 months last year, they billed/charged me for utilities, then December, wanted me to renew my lease for March 21. If I went month to month, it wouldn't be ABP, but if I wanted to stay ABP, rent would go up.approx. $100. That was cheaper than paying deposits on utilities myself & moving wasn't an option, so I renewed my lease at that rate. Last week, I received another bill for utilities, & upon speaking with Celina the manager, they stopped having ABP units in October (but I renewed in December?). She took the charges off, but redid my lease at a lower rate and said I could not be ABP. Aside from personal issues, the grounds are not kept up. The parking lot has all kinds of deep holes, trash and dog poop is everywhere, the mail boxes look like they've been through war, and the worst thing is the plumbing. The sewers FREQUENTLY back up and there will be raw sewage (toilet paper etc.) in the parking lots and on the sidewalks. They don't come through and hose off the sidewalks. I have boots for when this happens and all shoes are left at the door for this reason. Don't come here.

I lived here for 3 years and I finally moved out of this dump! This is the worst complex ever, they don't fix anything and there's trash and dog poop all over the grounds from the other nasty tenants who don't clean up after themselves or their pets. Also they don't have enough maintenance to maintain the property. They are constantly changing property managers and office personnel every few months. Dont move here! Go elsewhere! Not worth the rent you pay for!
This is one of the worst apartment complex I have ever came in contact with. November 5th is when my husband and I applied for an apartment. Alicia started off very nice and very helpful after receiving our admin fee and deposit and all of our information stopped contacting us. I informed them I wanted to move in December 15th Alicia called me on November 19th stating that she would talk to the property manager Matthew and give me a call back that same day. Unfortunately Alicia did not feel that I was important enough to contact me and decided to send me a text message December 4th. After receiving less than exceptional service we have decided not to move forward , This apartment complex have decided to keep my admin fee and deposit stating that they will be unable to return it because of a clause in their contract. The funny part is that I never actually saw this clause nor did I sign anything Alicia also stated on the phone that I did not sign the clause. Somehow they are still continuing to not return our deposit. Furthermore once I asked Alicia when I would be able to talk to Matthew due to the fact that he is the property manager she proceeded to be rude and told my husband to have a nice day. I have decided to seek legal advice as to my rights since I am new to Houston. If I was you I would definitely stay away from this apartment complex. Do not I repeat do not move into this apartment complex.
This is by far one of the WORST apartment complexes in Houston. They never fix anything and their is thief and Teens break windows, drug dealers.. bad clientle.. do not live there

There is never maintenance around the request by residents go ignored for months and you can call and call the office staff and they never send anyone. I have been here a week and turned in a inventory sheet with things on the front and back from the stove not working to the toilet not flushing and much, much more. I am tired and frustrated with the staff already and the maintenance guy walk around all day dressed like they are going out not like they are there to work. Please do not make my mistake and move here you and your family will regret it. The toilet was brown when I moved in and the tub has orange stains from the brown water. DO NOT MOVE HERE please look at others site reviews and see what people who live here have to say it will save you time , money and the headache

These apartments need alot of help. I have lived here 8 months and in the 8 months I have a spiral notebook that is half full of notes on this complex of bad things. From a killing across from me to maintenance man not showing up for weeks at a time to calling the office to get on the list for extermination and they till this day have not come or called us to say they are not coming. Office has changed managers 3 times since I have been here and this manager doesn't even look at u when entering the office and doesn't speak.

I went to look at a model and was not impressed at all. Model had worn out furniture, air vent hanging out of the wall, door jams all beat up. I was thinking if the model looks this bad, they don't take care of anything and the actual apartment probably looks worse.

nice apartment but the only problem there it’s not totally secured ,anyone can get in and get out ,overall the apartments clean no roaches and its always have maintains guys working around when you need something they will help you to fix it in time
