Cleveland is a city where spirit meets sophistication, and nowhere is this dichotomy more on display than Downtown. This lakefront district packs a whole city’s worth of attractions and amenities into a fairly compact area, making it easy for folks to walk or bike anywhere quickly: to work, to get a bite to eat, to a ball game, even to catch a flight (Burke Lakefront Airport sits right on the shore of Lake Erie). Like many Midwestern cities, Downtown Cleveland features a skyline filled with grand architecture, from the historic public buildings to the vintage skyscrapers to the magnificent monuments dotting the landscape.
Quicken Loans Arena, FirstEnergy Stadium, and Progressive Field are all only a few blocks away from anywhere in Downtown, giving residents direct access to professional sporting events and major concerts year-round.

Property Ratings at The Shoreline
I moved in over the summer to Quay 55 and have loved living here! I searched high and low for an apartment complex that had everything I wanted. I looked at other properties downtown and Quay 55 blows them out of the water. Yes, the rent is a little higher than properties downtown, however a lot is included! Two of my favorite features are the fitness center and the lakeside pool. Both of which have been recently updated and improved. The office staff is very friendly and will take care of any issues or questions you may have. The on-site maintenance staff is also very friendly and anytime I've had a maintenance request, it's been taken care of within 24 hours! Overall, I am very happy with my decision to move to Quay 55. Having breathtaking views of downtown Cleveland and lake Erie, along with great amenities, spacious apartments, friendly management and office staff makes Quay 55 one of the best places I've ever lived.
Quay 55 is bar none, the best place to live in Cleveland. Just step one foot on the property and you will see what I mean. It screams luxury with every detail. The staff is professional and friendly, the apartments are loft style suites and it is extremely modern and beautiful. I just visited the property for the second time today and I am obsessed. I cannot wait to move in!
The first time I visited Quay 55, it was love at first sight. I have been a resident here for a year and a half now, and can say these are THE BEST apartments to live at in the Cleve. Pros: - The leasing and maintenance staff is extremely friendly and prompt at taking care of requests. Most times, I just end up sending a quick email and the request is taken care of by the time I get back home from work. - Plus there's always coffee, candy and goodies up for grabs in the lobby ;) - The community is nicely secured and safe. And there's a person on duty at all times. - THE LAKE AND THE POOL! I mean, the sights are to die for! The pool right by the lake is a point of envy for all my friends that have been here! And watching the sunset over the lake on summer evenings.. Amazing. - The apartments are loft style with in unit washer/dryer and are all new/modern (or atleast they look like they are.. I'm not sure). Downsides: - The rent is a bit high, but is comparable to some of the apartments Downtown. But there's free and ample parking (outdoors!). I am a Resident Physician, and can live here on a Resident's salary. So that's saying something. The drive to work via MLK is pretty sweet too :) - There are no neighbourhood shops and stores like in Downtown. This can be a bit annoying sometime when you're just out of milk! I heard there used to be a coffee shop around in the past, but I guess it shut down or something before I moved in :/ But hey, there's sheep (and a Llama) for company that come to the grazing area right outside the complex, and stay there all summer :) Overall, I would highly recommend this place! The place, the people and the views: are all great.
I have lived here for 3.5 years (late 2012- mid 2016) and have had a wonderful experience. During this time I have lived in both a one bedroom and two bedroom apartment. This building is a converted warehouse and has loft style apartments. The best part of living at Quay 55 is the lake. You literally live BY the lake and have gorgeous sunsets everyday. The management (Aspen Square) and the manager (Samantha) are absolutely superb. For any maintenance issue or other requests all I've had to do is drop a one line email and they take care of it within 24 hours. They have been renovating parts of the building constantly and it looks beautiful. The only reason I left was because I was changing cities, and am actually sad to leave the place. Pros: - Gorgeous sunsets - Lakeside pool - Clean and gated community - Secure - Great management - Free Starbucks! - Loft apartments with new utilities - Sheep in the backyard all summer! - Grill, poolside patio furniture - Right off the interstate, yet quiet - Close to the city Cons: - Not walking distance from any stores or shopping areas For anyone looking for apartments in Cleveland area, this place is a must visit. Highly recommended!
