DO NOT waste your time even thinking about living here. Try the apartment buildings anywhere but this complex. Management is horrible. Best thing about this place is that I don't have to stay here.
Living here has been a nightmare! Worst mistake I have ever made. If you never leave your apartment, don't want to use your patio, go outside, enjoy the area around it and you don't mind a rude impersonal staff then this is the place for you! If you have pets or kids be prepared for a horror I can't begin to explain. I have been counting down the days until we could get out of this nightmare.
Beautiful 1,200 sq feet, 2 bedroom, 2 bath unfurnished a balcony with 9 foot ceiling, open concept apartment with a spectacular view of the Colorado Rockies next to Macintosh lake. Wouldn't want to miss the friendly environment surrounding nature sounds with beauty. Pet friendly community making you feel at home with loved ones
After interviewing several apartments we chose the shores. Just driving through the gates our first impression was this feels like home. It was the 1st of December and the grounds were beautifully decorated along with many blue spruce trees. We stepped into the clubhouse and were greeted with warm welcoming smiles. The clubhouse is super nice with a conference room a computer room and gym for the residents to use. We were in a hurry to move and the staff bent over backwards to help make that happen. We rented a lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment and it had 24/7 around the clock maintenance. When it would snow the sidewalks were salted and shoveled by 6 a.m. and periodically throughout the day. Anytime we needed anything fixed the maintenance guys were there within minutes. The staff held events throughout the year to bring residents together. We got to know our neighbors in our immediate unit and everyone looked out for each other. This apartment complex is one of the safest apartment complexes we have ever lived in. Pets are welcomed at the shores and when I mean welcomed I mean welcomed! The managment does not frown at all about having pets. We think that is one the reasons the apartment felt like a community. We loved talking walks with the dogs around Mcintosh lake and enjoyed the unobstructed views of the mountains, that is something we will certainly miss. Your less than 5 minutes to shopping, 10 minutes to lyons, and right down the street from Hygiene. Overall we had a splendid experience with the shores and would highly recommend them to anyone!
Great neighborhood. Good neighbors. Lake right across the street and gated community is awesome but makes the price high.
This is an extremely nice area and having the lake right across the street is awesome. But the apartment is much smalier than I'd prefer and the price is very high. I've seen houses for rent that are very nice that are the same price. All together great neighbors an good area but high priced.
Clean, friendly neighborhood with great staff and reasonable rent.
