Property Ratings at Simon Cycle Building - 10 W. Broad St.
TL;DR, if your time and your health are precious to you, there are DEF better options in the city. All the nuisances and extra charges (and maybe the remaining mold) are surely enough to leave you with a headache and unnecessary stress. The walls are super thin, and the front units share walls with a business that occasionally has events. Of course, you can hear the music and the bass throughout the entire apartment, so if peace and serenity on a weekend/week nights are important to you, I think there are better options in the city. I've reported numerous incidents to the property manager in which she was unable to resolve. Additionally, our room had mold and water damage in which they failed to fulfill the promise of fixing all of that before our move-in date. It took numerous months to get that resolved, and the mold/damage had spread to numerous rooms. Property management refused to lower our rent for the inconvenience and the toxicity of the mold during those times or let us break our lease, so they obviously don't care about your health. Additionally, if anything needs to be repaired with your apartment, expect an extra charge to appear in your rent. The doors are constantly being wedged open, so unwanted people/non-residents have made ways into the apartment building and stayed in the halls during bad weather.
This apartment is located in central downtown and it's perfect for those people who like nightlife. Restaurants are right outside your door. A lot of events occur outside. I have never had an issue, anything that has needed to be fixed was immediately done by the maintenance staff . I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
