Weehawken is a relatively small city in Hudson County, overlooking the New York skyline. It contains the entrance point to the Lincoln Tunnel, providing additional routes into the city.
Both affordable and luxury apartments can be found along Park Avenue, which also houses some of the community’s best shopping experiences.
Lincoln Harbor is Weehawken’s business district – and it’s on the Hudson River. The city has many attractions, including panoramic view points from the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to George Washington Bridge.
In addition to the tunnel, locals can commute into New York via the ferry – the ride is only a few minutes. Just like the cozy waterfront restaurants, residents enjoy summer concerts at Hamilton Park.

Property Ratings at The Simone
My wife and I moved in as our first apartment together and we've had a great experience. The interiors of the apartment are modern and the building is extremely well kept. Management is about as as responsive as I've found with other buildings. The cost is significantly less than Hoboken down the street and the commute to midtown is great. The patios are also fantastic. If our jobs didn't relocate we would have stayed.
Aesthetically the building and units are very nice but that is where it ends. Management is non existent other than to collect the over priced rent they charge. They are unresponsive and act like they are doing you a favor by letting you live there. The naked arrogance of management is astounding. As discussed in previous post security is non existent and I have had packages stolen and management did nothing. I highly recommend to continue looking.
The apartment looks good during a walk through but after moving in you realize how unresponsive the property management really is. The land lord has put the laundry machines in the lease as the only appliance to be the "tenant responsibility" because they are specifically aware of the likelihood of them breaking down. If you are looking at the the place as a potential rental, knock on doors and talk to other tenants about there experience. If you decide to move forward with a lease, make sure you put EVERYTHING IN EMAIL and do a PHOTO SURVEY WHEN MOVING IN and immediately request repairs for any and all issues! They will charge you, and have others, for damages not done by you! I would highly not recommend this property after living here over a year, but if you think it is right for you be prepared to have poor property management and be screwed by the landlord over your deposit. FYI the parking on ground level is free! so don't pay for the garage below with compact spots that will end up scratching and denting your car! Back story on the construction of the place is that the building was build sub-code by a inexperienced contractor who also was shafted by the land lord. a build that was supposed to take 18 months took 3 years and with the building finished around 2015 as a high end contractor myself you are likely to have many repairs and issues with the apartment. Also three times in a span form October 2016 to May 2017 packages were stolen from the lobby because the side door out of the parking area is left unlocked. (police reports where filed) in addition to multiple bikes and even a motorcycle.
It takes months to get anything serviced (AC, heat, water, etc). The management speaks very broken English. They try and increase rent after your lease is already signed and people I've talked to have had trouble getting their damage deposits back. The rooms are nice but be very careful as the management will try to screw you out of your damage deposit, etc...
Living in this building is very convenient, but management is awful, nobody cares about all the problems in the building, no security for you and your family, it takes months until somebody comes to fix anything in your apartment, they increased the rent without notice, when you try to contact landlord is not possible Please find other places to leave for the sake of your kids
