Property Ratings at The Smith
The Smith is excellent, we are only leaving because we moved to another state. The only issue is we had to break our lease early and they were not flexible with letting us buy out the lease—we had to pay the remainder of our rent. The floors are a bit thin so we could hear the people above us. Other than that, the community is great, loved the amenities.

This is a beautiful building with wonderful amenities. I've never lived in an apt building before, and thanks to a lot of light and a rare private balcony, I am loving it! With just one week in, I am in awe of the features The Smith thought to include when designing this building.

I currently live in the Smith Apartments, a modern residential area in the heart of the city. The apartments are very modern in design, with great lighting and a very quiet living environment. Residents treat each other with respect, the management team is very responsive and any maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner. The location is extremely convenient, with supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby. Public transportation is also very convenient, with buses within walking distance. The interiors of the apartments are luxuriously furnished and the kitchens and bathrooms are equipped with modern amenities. The gym and swimming pool are the highlights of the apartment and are well equipped and maintained, I often work out there. Overall, Smith Apartments provided a comfortable and convenient living environment that made my daily life very enjoyable.

Was underplayed how prevalent construction noise would be prior to moving in and was promised amenities in the other building that were stripped away as the new building filled up. Otherwise, nice build and friendly neighbors.

Things had to be fixed when I moved in, but overall the maintenance people were very quick and It was a new building. Lots of events for residents.

Very Beautiful and clean apartment building with many amenities everyone is welcoming and in good spirits. If you ever need anything the concierge is available 24 hrs a day to help you.the property is very visually pleasing.

Building is extremely clean and neighborhood is walkable. Was pleasantly surprised by the other residents as well. Everyone is extremely friendly and of similar age.

great location and finishes! I love the convivence of the parking garage to the building. Front desk staff are so nice and very kind- really appreciate them! The walls are very thick I never hear neighbor noise. The downside is the ventilation at least in my unit. The den while we knew did not have windows, it does not have an air vent either. This is hard with the only window/air vent being on the other end of the unit and working in the den. We had to purchase a fan. The TVs not connecting to any kind of streaming service or HDMI cable is disappointing as well if we wanted to have friends over and watch an ESPN event. The fire pits do not work 50% of the time either and no one seems to know how to work them.

The staff is great. I think that’s the only reason I like living here the staff is amazing. Some of the residents are really cool and sweet. I could really see myself raising my daughters here

The Smith is the best apartment complex in the South End 100%, potentially all of Boston (I just haven't lived in them myself to say). The amenities, the staff, the location, the community, and the entire infrastructure makes for a fantastic home.

Very luxurious building with great amenities. Close to downtown, chinatown and copley square. I just don’t like that there’s a lot of pets and most of the time they are unleashed and go poop everywhere.

The Smith is an amazing place to live! The apartment complex has high-end amenities with a 24/7 concierge which is great. The apartment grounds are always well maintained and the units themselves provide lots of storage for apartment city living. I’ve enjoyed my time at The Smith so far!

I had a very pleasant experience staying in this apartment. It is elegant, quiet and cozy, and I was able to enjoy the sunlight flooding the room every day. The apartment is well equipped and the management is friendly and efficient and any problems are solved in a timely manner. The neighbors are also very friendly and always have a warm human touch. The location of the apartment is very convenient, with an abundance of dining and shopping options around, making life more convenient and enjoyable.

I really enjoy my stay at the Smith. It feels like you live in a Hotel where every thing you might need for a happy living is around you. The pool, the gym, the common space, the garden ... You step out of your appartment and it feels like you went on a trip. The neighbors and staff are very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
