The Smyth

overall, I have been satisfied with what the Smyth offers. I do think for the cost of rent, there should be a limited # of overnight guest passes and reserved guest parking. They could be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and have to be returned after 24 hours... seems a bit crazy for what we pay in rent that is not something offered for guests. Starting to feel a bit like the cost of living here is higher than buildings that offer more, such as a state-of-the-art gym that offers classes among other things.

Excellent place to live. Convenient downtown location. Professionally run building with a great leasing and maintenance staff. Just renewed our lease.

Great space, interior design is sleek and functionally optimized. The administrative design (staff and protocols and opportunity for input) is effective and "tenant friendly" and focused on aesthetics as much as safety and building condition. A safe building is cool. But a cool safe building is even better. I am also, impressed by the operational improvements made to generate income. Some very creative and inspiring.

Best rental we ever had, totally recommend. The building is brand new and the management and maintenance are great. They are always doing touch ups on the hallways, making sure the common areas look good. Definitely recommend.

I love living in this building. Super spacious and beautiful apartment. The staff are super attentive. Really very good. In the summer the pool is super cool, there are always events. The neighbors are great. Anyway, everything is super cool.

The Smyth is such a wonderful holistic living community. Not only does it have beautiful apartments and amenities, but all of the people are great too. Residents are all friendly professionals, and the management is the best I've had in an apartment complex. I've had very few issues, but when I do they get addressed right away. I'm going to renew here as long as I am in Stamford CT

Best apartment experience I’ve had to date. Management is great, the amenities are awesome, and I’ve never had any serious issues with my unit. 10/10 would recommend if you can look past the high price point.

The Smyth has been great. Move in was easy and everything is expected. We have been taking advantage of all of the amenities so far. We love it here!

Building events are very creative and well planned out. Maintenance team communicates well and is hard working. The building is a terrific place to live.

From being shown the apartment to moving in to now being almost 2 months having stayed at Smyth, overall experience has been no less than seamless and beautiful. The location is fantastic, amenities are fabulous, people are courteous and staff is friendly.

Exceptional amenities and building maintenance. And easy billing. The building staff made moving in seamless and smooth. It's a great building for young professionals, and also nice amenities for my kids.

So far I have had excellent experience. It’s difficult getting push cart in the building door. Need something to hold doors open and also some kind of brake on pushcart

Building amenities are so impressive - it feels like living in a hotel. Everything is always clean and if anything breaks/malfunctions it is addressed and fixed immediately.

Our time at the Smyth has been nothing short of amazing! The security in building makes me feel safe everyday. The staff is so welcoming and makes a new city feel like home! The amenities are always well kept making things from working out to working from home an enjoyable experience!

Very attentive management team, building is always clean, maintenance is timely in handling requests, excellent amenities. My only complaint is with other residents not being respectful (i.e. not picking up after their dogs in the dog run)

I recently moved into this building and so far it had been a great experience. Concierge and maintenance staff have been responsive and able to help with all of our requests. The building itself is beautiful with many amenities including a beautiful rooftop area.

The apartment community members are friendly, kind and thoughtful. A decent bunch of people. They are easy to converse with and share the same thoughts about the wonderful experience living at the Smyth.

A great environment, always clean and the community is all so friendly! Going home is like going to a nice getaway, you truly never want to leave!

The Smyth is by far the best community I have lived in thus far! The units are beautiful, the amenities are top notch, and all the staff from the leasing team, concierge, and maintenance crew and so polite and helpful. And location is very convenient. Love it here!

Amazing property with so many amenities and beautiful finishes. Most people have dogs which is another huge plus! Staff is super friendly as well.

My wife and I just recently moved in. Upscale apartments and amenities. Dishwasher is kind of basic though and the sliding door only opens to one side which means it’s impossible to clean the glass. Other than that, it’s a very nice place to live.

Really great place, awesome amenities and location. Wish it was cheaper of course but you do get a lot for what you pay. The gym is above expectations for a free apartment building gym.

The cleaning staff, concierge and management has been attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We feel save and the building is maintain with care. We especially love the attention to detail and the community activities hosted by Amy and Jordan.

The leasing experience here at the Smyth was silky smooth thanks to the hard work of the leasing manager, Ben. The management and event planning teams are top-notch, and truly care about creating a sense of community in the building. The attention to detail in the apartments, and in the amazing array of building amenities is absolutely impressive. Every day I wake up at The Smyth, I feel as if I am living in a phenomenally well run hotel. After having toured around 15 apartment communities in Stamford, I can confidently say that I made the right choice in calling The Smyth my home.

The building is nice & clean & my apartment is great. I love tge water pressure on the shower. I would recommend the Smyth to my friends & coworkers

The place is great, beautiful, and clean overall. The dog park is impossible to use due to being always dirty and smelling horrible, I took my dog the first day being super exited about the perk, and never again. Communication among the staff could be better for instance, yesterday there were some boxes outside we asked for it 3 times around 3-4pm we left the building and got back around 11pm and boxes were still there, not ideal when you’re paying for good service. Other than that as of yet, everything else is good.

Everything has been great so far — except parking gate and lack of response from front desk with Uber eats and friends and family having issues. If someone is let in the building why is there so much extra security in the elevator? I appreciate security however the extra fob scan in the elevator should start at 10pm. The beauty in a doorman building is convenience— to get calls and texts saying I can’t move in the elevator makes no sense.

All the facilities and the persons at the Smyth are fabulous. The friendly neighbors are great . Am enjoying the billiards ?? table and the game room

Super efficient building and communications. Well-designed apartments with perfect appliances and effective amenities. The rooftop gym, pool and viewing areas as truly the cherries on top.

Great building, amenities and gym/community/co-working areas are top notch. Kudos in particular to Jordan & Amy, they're an amazing catalyst in creating social opportunities for neighbors to get to know each other, make friends and find career/business networking opportunities. I think their presence here elevates the whole experience in that you're not living in a building full of unknown neighbors, but you actually know many of the people you live with, kind of like a social club.

Beautiful building with fantastic amenities - service is extremely helpful and accommodating. We just transferred from a studio to a 1 bedroom and the process was painless, the new apartment was cleaned so well and ready for us to use - everything working, no issues.

I really enjoy living at the smyth. My experience moving in was easy and the staff was helpful in assisting me. The building super and maintenance staff has gone out of their way to make sure that the apartment was in great condition to move into and if I need anything they are quick to come and help. I fortunately have had no issues with my apartment or any of the appliances. Everything has worked the way it should and I would certainly recommend the Smyth to anyone considering living here. Another thing I like is the community events and how the building goes out of their way to bring everyone together for events.

I am a new resident but loving it here so far!! Everyone has been so friendly and the amenities are awesome. Very spacious compared to other buildings nearby.

We are absolutely amazed by this building! The amenities are top notch - the gym, the common areas, the arcade room - all are comfortable to use and very very stylish. The building is spotless, staff does a really good job maintaining it. And most importantly, we are very happy with our apartment - the plan is well thought through and utilizes the space very well.

I love The Smyth! My apartment is spacious and has wonderful light, fixtures and appliances. Water pressure in shower is heavily. Amenities are many and views from 17th floor are amazing!

Everything is just perfect.. the leasing team is very helpful and the concierge is very cooperative. The apartment is exactly what I needed.
