Not exactly what it is heavily promoted to be. For example, not just student housing. There are families walking around as well as older adults living there. Also quality of apartment is not the best as far as fixtures and repair work/paint jobs.

I’ve been a tenant at The Social Blue for nearly three years, and unfortunately, my experience has been riddled with issues. Most recently, when I tried to renew my lease, I was told the new lease agreement would be sent to me by the end of the day—which never happened. I was also assured by the staff that I could keep the same unit and room I was in, only to later find out that the lease had already been signed by someone else on the very same day I accepted the renewal offer. This lack of honesty and mismanagement was incredibly frustrating. The issues didn’t start there. When I moved into my current unit, they didn’t have it ready until nearly 3 PM, even though my lease stated I could move in at 9 AM. Once inside, I discovered black mold near the AC vent. Initially, the staff told me there was nothing they could do, but after escalating the issue to the property manager, they finally moved me to the unit I'm in now. Other problems include my mailbox key not working when I first moved in, requiring five different keys to be cut before it was resolved. Additionally, packages delivered on Sundays are left unsecured in front of the office doors, since the office is closed, leaving them vulnerable to theft. While I had hoped things would improve over time, it’s clear that mismanagement is a consistent issue here. If you're considering renting here, be prepared for significant headaches. My experience has been deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend this complex to anyone looking for reliable management, secure facilities, or clear communication.

I love my roommates. They did a roommates matching and I did a lease takeover. Management takes forever to get things done though. And half of the gym equipment doesn’t even work.

It’s been a pretty good stay so far! I am loving the witness center, the pool looks nice, rooms are what was expected, and living is fine. I would definitely recommend trying to find decent roommates before joining a 4x4 but I’m sure it could workout good either way. Some little things have been annoying, such as the stair master being broken the ENTIRE year.

Apartments are nice but environment is not great. My car got stolen from the parking lot and our upstairs neighbors made an absurd amount of noise despite the 3 noise complaints that were submitted.

The apartments are cute, not that well kept though. There is a lot of dry paint dust on our floor that we were unable to clean up and a few whole here and there. Other than that they are very nice. The location is convenient and the complex is well kept other than the over flowing trash. There is a very nice park area in the back with hammocks and grass that I like to hang out it.

Not good. Was told I could pick up my keys to my new unit at 9am via the email they sent. When I got there I was told the cleaners were still cleaning the room. At first I was fine as things happen but after 4 hours waiting still haven’t gotten the keys to my u it and I’ve turned in the old ones. This isn’t acceptable

Decent place to live as a college student. It is close to MTSU. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to campus and park. Maintenance comes eventually to fix problem.

there is poop everywhere and nobody picks up dog poop and there is always trash in the parking lots. The backyard is a great place to hangout with friends and is a great opportunity to seek friends for our dogs!

Great place to live as a college student. The closet is very spacious closet. The neighborhood is quiet. The only complaint is the parking. Sometimes you have to park a few buildings away from your apartment. Office people are nice and maintenance comes in a timely manner

Okay but too pricey for the issues I’ve had. Maintenance requests take a while and some of the problems they do a “temporary” fix so I constantly have to put in the same requests. They also need to do something about people not picking up after their dogs.

My stay at the social blue has been amazing so far I have had no problems. One of the things that is great for me is how close it is to MTSU.

It was a smooth move in, had a much better time than my last apartment. Although I do know other people who had issues with their move in. And post move in there have been some issues. Other than that it’s a solid place.

it’s been a good experience so far and have had no complaints. i really like the gym but wish the stair master worked because that’s my favorite part of my workout.

living there are pretty good and comfy. i like to live there because it is zone to college that i’m going to which is easier for me to drive back and forth without wasting amount of gas. so far it’s good living there

Pretty good I like the gym and pool. The staff is really nice and will help you with things around the apartment. Wish there cleaning company did a better job with the deep clean at the beginning of move in.
