I just love being a resident of this complex. It is very secure, clean and pleasant. I love the location. I am super impressed with management and services this place has to offer. I am a happy resident of the Standard.
Overall after 4 years i still enjoy living at the Standard. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Amenities are always clean and functional and parking has gotten a lot better.

It's really good to stay here and we feel safe aswell. Its a great community to stay. We can commute to mid town in just 5 min by walk. There is a dog park which is absolutely good. Community is neat and clean. They take garbage on regular basis. Underground parking is really wonderful where we can park our car in alloted place which is extremely safe for our vehicle. There is external parking as well for the guest then can park at any time but for particular period. There is longue which is extremely beautiful and great place to invite friends for any occasion.

There is almost immediate resolution to any of the apartment related issues. Have had a great experience so far. Anna and Aurora have been of great help and are very approachable. I love the amenities, they have a gym, game room, terrace and swimming pool.

It is a great place to live! The staff are very responsive to calls, emails or any requests for service! Kudos to Olga, Aurora and Joe! The place has great amenities and excellent for your furry companions. Quiet place and good insulation. You can barely hear your neighbors! Ignore the negative comments about the fire alarms, it’s good to know that the system is working whether it’s false alarms or not! Great location and close to everything whether you have a car or not.

The Standard is a very lovely apartment complex. I moved here with my girlfriend and I’m glad I did. Facilities are top-notch; Gym, functional Pool/Whirlpool, Lounges and just so much more at reasonable price. Five months in, I’ve appreciated my move to the Silicon Valley by the experience here more than ever.

I moved in end of August and so far I have nothing but great things to say about the standard. The leasing office made my move in process seamless. I used a pod which was able to be placed in a parking spot near back of building. They provided a dolly to assist with unpacking which was super helpful if you dont have movers. Theres security guards at night in parking garage so it feels super safe if youre pulling in late or out in early mornings. The amenities are great and well kept. Theres a mixture of young professionals and families. Its nice location with cute coffee shop and fun brewery right across the street, within walking distance to Safeway, Starbucks and other restaurants. Highly recommend living here!

I was going to hesitate posting this because posting a critical and negative review of an apartment complex you’re currently living in isn’t advisable… BUT this has to be the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in and I’ve lived in a half dozen. I shared all of these concerns with management months ago, and anything that was improved was just replaced with a new problem or a smaller issue becoming worse. For starters, the crime. Stolen motorcycles from inside the garage. Stolen packages from the mailing room. Drug deals going down in the neighboring parking lot. If you move in here, you’d better have insurance on your personal possessions. Secondly, the fire alarms. The last time I lived anywhere there were so many fire alarms was my college dorm. They happen in the middle of the night, the early morning, middle of the day, you name it. You like to sleep? This apartment ain’t for you. You like to smoke in the middle of the night, wake up the whole apartment, and not have to pay any consequences for your actions? Come on in. You don’t have a clue how to cook anything without burning something and lack the wherewithal open a window? You’re in luck! Join your own fellow peoples. The final kicker is even though there are non stop fire alarms they still need to conduct a 2-day long fire alarm inspection across the entire building. You read that right: 2 days of fire alarms blaring. In a 9 month period there have been 15 fire alarms not counting the 2 days of tests. Third, the constant state of maintenance. Elevators going out of commission, key fob scanners breaking randomly, lights breaking, you name it. One time I tried to get some maintenance done on my fridge and was told I’d have to pay $50 for it. That’s called a shakedown kids. This place is so not worth it. At half the price it would be worth the constant headaches but considering the plethora of similar options in San Jose and neighboring areas, you’re better off looking elsewhere.

Management has absolutely no people skills, RUDE. Mail room was vandalized and broken into twice this year. Many of my packages have been stolen. I had a confrontation with an. intruder on the 4th floor and neither security nor management did anything to address it. My car has been broken in to three times. My neighbor's car was broken into and nearly stolen this past week. CONSTANT fire alarms. Key fob system goes down sporadically and recently has been down for a week causing more intruders to come into the building. Security is a joke. Did I mention management is rude and never gets back to me? I'd look elsewhere.

False Alarm consistently, one or twice a month in the middle of the night. Car broken in in both gated garage and outdoor parking. Bikes are stolen inside of the bike room with locked doors and camera. Super noisy on the side of the light rail!

i've lived here for years. it was great when Amy was here with her staff. there was a change in management this past year and they are terrible. they never respond. i've had so many packages stolen, my mail box has been broken into, my car has been broken into multiple times. they supposedly have security but they are no where to be found. we are paying so much and all amenities have been closed, rather than sanitize them for us between uses..there are a ton of other apartments around, do yourself a favor and don't be fooled by the looks. find a different residence

-lived here 3 years, change of management in mid2020 ruined apt -ton of stolen packages & car and unit break-ins -new management is TERRIBLE they don't care about residents & almost NEVER respond to emails or calls -security is useless -COVID is the excuse to not accept packages & close all amenities. other apts allow use of BBQs and rooms if scheduled & sanitized

The Standard really does set a new standard for living. The community amenities and apartment itself are all well maintained, beautiful, and luxurious. Leasing staff are also very friendly and accessible for any and all questions about the property and logistics to rent. I've been recommending The Standard to pretty much everyone that asks!

Nice pool, its great that we can reserve it. Pretty clean. The units are quite big and its definitely a quiet place. Maintenance team is very responsive. So far, one of the best residence in terme of commute-quietness-cleanness-space-proximity to downtown-pricing balance one can find. Management is new and thats ok but some of them can be unprofessional, hence give you a poor experience.
