Eleven miles northwest of Philadelphia, Roxborough’s convenient locale provides residents easy accessibility to city attractions in a charming, yet modern neighborhood.
Prior to the 1854 Act of Consolidation, most of Roxborough was part of the Roxborough Township. The area was a thriving and successful textile mill, which helped fund many of the community’s schools and parks during that time.
Nestled between the Schuylkill River and Wissahickon Valley Park, there’s plenty of natural green space and settings to go around. Locals enjoy fishing for trout at the park, and going on evening walks at the Manayunk Canal in their free time. Many delicious and trendy restaurants encompass Ridge Avenue – but a popular, no-frills eatery is Dalessandro’s Steak, a cheesesteak shop by the Walnut Lane Golf Course.
Residents are comforted by their direct access to Interstate 76, SEPTA bus and rail services, and Thomas Jefferson University East Falls Campus.

Property Ratings at The Station at Manayunk
Beautiful apartments with terrible maintenance issues. We first noticed a leak in our second bedroom in 2017. Reached out to maintenance and they “fixed it”. It is now 2021 and we have continued to have leak issues in that bedroom that has led to hundreds of dollars in furniture loss and one replaced carpet. We are constantly told the issue is fixed, only to have to emerge again a few months later. Thankfully, we are moving in July and will never return.
Great experience living here, no problems what so ever and proud to call this my home. I just wish the sink came with a garbage disposal other than this,I love my apartment, clean, modern and spacious! I recommend units that faces the water/woods, so peaceful, less noisy and offers privacy...compared to the front which faces the train tracks/parking lot. Safe and convenient area, in-between Center City and King of Prussia. Garages are large enough to fit your car and to be used for storage at the same time, I suggest adding one for sure if you do not want to search for a space everyday and night. Residents and Management Team are nice as well, complex is well taken care of, hallways are vacuumed, grass is cut regularly, and complimentary dog waste bags are offered.
I lived here for almost 2.5 years without any issue, but towards the end of my lease (and after a few management changes), I started running into serious problems with maintenance incompetence and front office reliability. Problem One: This past winter, my hot water heater gave out. When emergencies like this happen, they instruct you to call the emergency maintenance line, which I did. However, it took over 5 days and multiple follow-ups for someone to even acknowledge that they never received the initial message. The unit was eventually replaced, but I went 5+ days without hot water in the middle of winter. Problem Two: I discovered (via another tenant accidentally entering my **locked** unit using her key) that my front door's top lock was broken. I reported this to maintenance as a high-priority, security /emergency issue. They did not handle this as such and even waited a few days to come and fix it. Problem Three: Leading up to my move-out date, I gave a few notices (at least three) regarding my new forwarding address for security deposit refund purposes. It's now been almost a month since my lease ended and still no refund. When I called to follow up, I come to find out that my refund was mailed to an address that is not even remotely close to what I documented with the front office—it isn’t even a previous address of mine or anyone I'm associated with. I was told, “there must have been a mix-up”. While problems one and two were eventually resolved and a resolution for problem three is in the works, it's all a facade and definitely not worth the money spent to live here. Don't move to the Station at Manayunk—save yourself the headache.
I had a great experience living here. The location is great with easy access to hiking/biking trails and a SEPTA station to get into the city. Management was always helpful and reasonable.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your home here at Station at Manayunk! We strive to provide our residents with the best in apartment living and are pleased to hear that was your experience. Thank you for your 5-star rating!
Honestly this is the worst place I have ever been forced to live in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We would be woken up to the sounds of mice walking around on the hardwood floors or go to take a shower to find a mouse staring at you. Mice ate through our entire pantry multiple times. The lack of professionalism and complete lack of care for their residents is unbelievable. We moved out months ago and are STILL owed our security deposit. There is never anybody at the leasing office to help you. We moved out early and have come to learn not all apartment complexes in the area are this bad thankfully. Truly the WORST place to live in Manayunk.
I found these apartments The Station at Manayunk, honestly a hidden gem, I have traveled all over the world, and I served in the military. The Station at Manayunk is truly a family, from the moment I walked in they had there welcoming smile. I just felt like first class royalty, trust me know Im a flight attendant who takes pride in her passengers. The apartment is beautiful, stainless steel appliances, high ceilings and enough closet space. They also have Garages for rent, and is not to costly. I loved my Garage especially for the winter. But the awesome part is you step right outside and there is a train that can take you to the airport, or center city, whatever you choose. I just love living here. And also they have bikes you can use, to ride the trail right behind the Station at Manyunk. Manyunk has such a nitelife, full of great food and shops. I love it here, its so easy to get to places. From the Management team to the Janitor, they are amazing, and if you have any issues, you can write it up and it is taken care of immediately. You will feel at home from the moment you arrive. I love it Here!! ...Cherry
I moved to The Station at Manayunk from out of town, so this has definitely been a great place to start off at in Philadelphia. The Property Management team is very welcoming and they respond to any requests timely. Being next to the station is an added benefit, and also having a nice fitness center on site. I had an ant problem when I arrived, but they took care of that right away. The only con I can think of is that with me living on the first floor, I've had to kill quite a few centipedes. There's a space under my front door, but I'm going to buy a door sweep, and hopefully this will put a dent in the issue. I also spray my apartment frequently with Raid, so usually when I do find the centipedes, they're already dead or dying. Overall, it's a great apartment, and I'm happy to have chosen this place being new to the area.
I moved here from a center city high rise for a shorter commute to work. First, the quality of the apartment building is fantastic - the floors, the kitchen, the windows - everything. Second, having the train next door is the most convenient thing I've ever had while living in an apartment, not just for my commute, but for friends who are visiting or for when I travel. Highly recommend!

We are so happy to hear you love calling Station at Manayunk home! We love those gorgeous hardwood floors, too! Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
The Station is superb. LOCATION: Unbeatable. My apartment is literally 50 yards away from the the Ivy Ridge SEPTA station, where you can hop on the train for a 20 minute ride into Center City (i.e Jefferson Station). Ivy Ridge is one stop removed from Manayunk station, and is about 8/10 a mile away. As such, it is only a 15-20 min walk from the Station to almost all the bars and restaurants on Main Street (trust me - I make this walk several times a week). While that may be a further walk to the bars than an apartment on Main Street, the Station offers a much shorter walk to your car, which will be parked in the Station's spacious lot (or a private garage stall which you can rent) rather than crammed between two SUVs on a steep hill (because that was the only spot you could find in Manayunk). For ease of access to Philadelphia and its environs, I honestly don't think there is a better apartment complex around (and believe me, I looked for a long time before I settled here). Under its present management, I wholeheartedly recommend the Station at Manayunk!

Wow! Thank you for recommending Station at Manayunk and leaving such a nice review! We are so pleased that you are happy to live here.
Newer unit. Can hear most things from neighbors and definitely from train. Parking is tight and sometimes have to park a building or two over. Pet friendly but don't enforce leash rule and not too much grass to walk them.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. Our goal is to make our community a place that everyone enjoys to call home. We do love pets, and for that reason we enforce a strict leash policy for everyone's safety. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would like to investigate this matter further, please stop by the management office so we can speak with you directly.
This is a great place to live. The apartment is located right outside of the train station to make commuting to the city very easy. There is also a bike/tow path that is along the river that goes from behind the building to the main street of Manayunk for an awesome weekend nightlife. Parking is relatively easy as well. I love the atmosphere here.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a nice review! We care what our residents have to say and use it to help make our community a home for everyone.
Amazing place to live. Its not in the city of Philadelphia, thus area is very safe and calm. Septa train station is but walking distance from the apartment itself. For food and fun, there is Main street which is again, within walking distance. Apartment is located in a very convenient are. I recently moved here for graduate school and simply, I just love it.
The apartment is updated and very comfortable. The surrounding area is safe. Located right on the Ivy Ridge train station- easy access to the city. Staff members are so helpful and are always there!
