Dubbed “the Heart of Georgia” due to its central location and Southern hospitality, Macon is approximately 90 minutes south of Atlanta. Recognized for its renowned musical history, Macon is the location where many artists like the Allman Brothers Band and Jason Aldean got their big break. After all, Macon is the city “where soul lives.”
Just like its passion for music, Macon believes in top-notch education. This city is home to a number of college campuses, including Mercer University and Middle Georgia State University. This family-friendly city boasts excellent public schools as well. Residents and visitors alike adore Downtown Macon for its small businesses and historic sites including restaurants, services, and specialty shops like Parish on Cherry, serving up the best gumbo in the city.
The Big House is a major attraction that celebrates the musical career of the Allman Brothers Band, while the Hay House and Cannonball House represent the city’s architectural history.

Property Ratings at The Station at River Crossing
I lived here for almost a year and absolutely loved it. I toured the other complexes in the area, or had friends who lived in other complexes, and I can say this is the best in the area. It’s safe, secure, and the rent is reasonable. I had a one bedroom and it had a ton of room and a huge kitchen. I really enjoyed having the cable and internet included in rent. The property staff are awesome and very easy to approach. The senior manager, Mrs. Moore, was incredible from day one, all the way through my move out. She has made the complex feel like a community. The staff have events every months and the amenities (pool, gym, grills, dog park) are all top notch. If I hadn’t relocated to a new city for work, I’d still be living here. If you’re looking for an apartment complex in Macon, this is the spot!

Cleanliness rating is a 4. Management is rude and condescending. Many of the tenants are very noisy. Building is poorly built and the apartments are very small.
Customer Service here is horrible. No one is ever in the office, no one answers the phones. I’ve sent emails and no one ever responds to my emails. I just feel like I’m being ignored and I’m wasting my money living here! They shut the office and amenities down and didn’t notify anyone until 2 days later. I can’t wait until my lease is up. If I could give 0 stars I would. Before I even moved in I had to contact corporate in order for someone to communicate with me.
