Downtown Phoenix is home to some of Arizona's most important cultural institutions, entertainment centers and professional sports teams, so residents never need to go far to find fun. The dining scene is top notch, featuring an eclectic mix of over 100 restaurants to satisfy any appetite. Performance venues of every size host symphony orchestras, rock bands, comedy shows, and theater productions regularly. A variety of museums and the University of Arizona campus boost the area’s intellectual capital, and residents enjoy quick access to pro baseball and basketball games just down the street.
As a major commercial center, the neighborhood’s high rises house dozens of corporate offices, making it an ideal spot for urban professionals who want the ability to walk to work. The extensive sidewalk system makes it easy to walk anywhere, and green spaces like the lush Margaret T. Hance Park provide gorgeous oases in the desert sun.

Property Ratings at The Station on Central
If you love terrible customer service and also enjoy getting your maintenance order requests ignored, this place is for you. The fact that it is almost impossible to get ahold of someone to talk to at the leasing office is mind blowing. Don't bother sending an email either because those will never be replied to. They have an emergency line for maintenance requests but it's useless. I have submitted 4 separate work order for water leaks and mold issues and it has not once been resolved.

Worst living experience my roommate and I have ever had. My biggest regret in life is signing a lease here because the apartment is completely unlivable due to our upstairs neighbors being insanely loud and the management being useless about it. We have talked to the neighbors directly, talked to management, called security, called the cops, and done everything reasonable to alleviate the situation. The complex does NOT enforce their quiet hours and is knowingly violating Arizona's law of Implied Covenant of Quiet Enjoyment. They want $2,000 to transfer units (which we cannot do) and are completely inflexible to a payment plan or waiving the fee as we are not the ones causing the noise. The management does not care if we suffer and just want to nickel and dime you. All hours of the day and night my roommate and I are subjected to stomping, crying, screaming, parties, and intentional noise from the upstairs' tenant's child in addition to the adults. It has gotten so bad this month that I have had to leave my job and relocate back to my parents because not sleeping for more than 4-6 hours is affecting my career and health. My roommate has nowhere to go and is miserable. The management is inefficient in responding, not fully answering questions over email, and in person are completely unhelpful. Management told me "You can't control how people live" in response to the upstairs neighbor's "living their life". YOU are responsible for ensuring a livable space for your tenants! YOU are responsible for enforcing quiet hours and cracking down on excessive noise outside of those quiet hours! It's affecting MY life! Neither of us signed up to be chronically annoyed or sleep deprived or dealing with a hostile upstairs neighbor when we signed this lease. There's a reason this place has 2 stars and it deserves less. I'm shocked at how bad this complex is. It must be a great business model to not care about your tenants because they're trapped in a lease and can't do anything about it and making sure they won't return. Awful, incompetent management. Congratulations on making 2 tenants lives miserable for a year long lease. I cannot wait for this hell of a lease to end.

The staff is friendly, the residents are great and its a great location. Pool and gym are great when open. Unfortunately they do not take security seriously. There were 3 car break-ins last night, mine included. This is an ongoing and increasing problem that management/owners are not taking seriously. The gate locks are constantly broken, always at least one or two not working. Lights at entry point will be out for weeks. The crime issues in the complex are getting worse and worse and their only solution is adding more lighting to the garage and internal campus. Its just not safe here anymore and will continue to get worse because the management doesn't take our safety and security seriously.

Resident of a 2Bd/2Ba unit on the second floor from 2018 to 2020 Pros: Good location for Phoenix light-rail and Indian School Park. The common area allows for a lot of natural light thanks to the large windows and open floor plan. The kitchen counters have sufficient space for two people to be cooking at the same time. Master bedroom closet is large. Bathrooms have two cabinets for storage. Cons: Significant water damage following every rainstorm. -The living room ceiling as well as the balcony ceiling collapsed from the collection of rain water. -This occurred three times in about one year, and to many units in the complex. -Bedroom windows leaked during rainstorms. Mismanagement of critical repairs. -The second ceiling collapse event went un-repaired for six months and then took one month to complete, rendering the living room unusable for half of a year. The long wait was partially due to the long list of units that required similar repair. -The first ceiling collapse went un-repaired for over a month. -The third ceiling collapse went un-repaired for at least a month and was still un-repaired upon move-out. Most notably, no form of compensation was provided for any of the water damage events. In Summary: This complex has potential with well styled kitchens and a heated pool, but the inability to maintain structural integrity during storms proved it to be an unsafe place to live. Additionally, the management (not the staff), offers poor customer service.

We are aware that we've been able to work with you on this, but if you have any remaining concerns, please give us a call at (855) 327-8956. Thank you. - The Team at The Station On Central
The staff including the manager Kim (with the exception of Armando) need to be train/re-trained on customer service. They are rude and seems like I was bothering them when inquiring information.
I’ve been living here about 6 months. The apartments are nice inside. I like it mostly due to the location. The pool is nice as well. The office people are friendly. One complaint... they recently painted the outside and now they look HORRIBLE. Whoever picked out the colors to paint them clearly didn’t have a clue what they were doing. The colors are terrible. Bad move for the property management. These apartments had potential.
Both my car and my roommate's car have been broken into twice, one costing $800 to fix. There have been 14 break ins in the last year and management has no plan to do anything about it other than offer their apologies and remind you that they are not liable. Also, doesn't seem to matter what you drive, the drug addicts that freely call the parking garage their home will break into anything. The water has been shut off with no notice or warning. The rooms are nice, minus the bugs that come and go regardless of how spotless you leave the kitchen. Maintenance requests typically get fulfilled within a week. Bottom line, you can pay a lot less to get the same amount of safety and security that you get here.
I have lived here at The Station for 3 years and I absolutely love it here! The amazing pool, exceptional management and very prompt service from maintenance when needed are my biggest reasons for staying. The price for my completely renovated 2 bedroom apt is also extremely competitive for the area! Anytime I go into the office I can count on the rental agent, Armando, who is always extremely pleasant and professional, to help with my needs. The manager, Kim, and assistant manager, Sydney, are also constantly present. They always come and say hello, engage conversation, tell us of the exciting renovations coming and remind us of the Starbucks machine in the lobby (they both know I have a coffee problem obviously). Around Christmas there were some issues with packages left at the door coming up missing. (Amazon doesn't charge, as everyone knows, when this happens). I notified Kim and almost overnight the gates were all re-keyed and tightened up for security! Literally problem fixed overnight! The grounds are kept up every single day. I have never seen anything unpleasant around the grounds. There are trash shoots on every floor leading to the compactor and on the first floor there are bins that never seem unpleasant. It truly does feel good to know that the money we pay to live in such an awesome area is valued. I cannot thank the management enough for the help that they have given us and the appreciation that they make sure we feel! Before Maxx took over, the property seemed to be falling apart. Literally the fire doors didn't operate properly and the entry gates were a joke. Between these issues, and many others, and the renovations that have been going on, I definitely have seen a difference since they brought the new management, Kim and Sydney, on. Thank you Kim, Sydney, Armando and Maxx for recognizing that where you work and invest your time is where so many people work and invest their own time in order to proudly call home!
Where to begin? First off, I hope you like having a hot house during the Arizona summer...because your AC will probably go out. I lived here for two summers and each summer the AC broke. Moreover, it will take forever to get it fixed because there is so much red tape when it comes to repairs that maintenance can't fix. The only thing you will get from management is a bunch of excuses as they gleefully take your rent. When you first view your new nightmare of a home, you will think, WOW, this is great! And like any polish, it quickly wears off and you will notice the horrible craftsmanship and figure out that their solution to updates is a coat of cheap paint. Last but not least, hope you have a crappy car. This gated community is home to thieves that steal from your car. For me this was an unwelcomed $400 bill. Best of luck to you if you decide to move here, you will be in my prayers.
The new management has failed at pleasing their tenants. They are con-artists at taking your money and leaving you with the feeling of disappointment. For example, the BBQ stations are flimsy and unsafe, all the walls around smell like pee from pets doing their business, the security deposit is astronomically high, maintenance is slow and low quality. Downtown events make mobility difficult. Plus, their exercise equipment is out of order more often then not. Lastly, thin walls make it easy to hear your neighbor's business. One positive note, they have a Starbucks coffee machine that everyone takes advantage of.
Horrible. Power in two rooms hasn't worked for 6 months office team has done nothing about it. I strongly suggest staying away from this location if for at least peace of mind
i have lived at the station on central for the past year and a half and have to say I have lived at better complexes. When I initially moved in the apartments were going through new management mad thank god. The old management never followed on maintenance and ignored noise complaints by other residence. The problem with these apartments is when they updated the interior they didn't update and fix the exterior problems. When I first moved into my apartments my mast bathroom had to be gutted above my shower due to a leak from the apartment above. Did I mention the leak was over a year old and did my apartments honor my request to reduce my rent that month for the week I was without a bathroom...no and the excuse was because I had a spare bathroom in my guest room. I complained about the inconvenience of sleeping with the smell of mold coming from my bathroom and the open hole in the ceiling that had to air out for week before they could reseal it. I will say they did treat my maintenance issues ASAP but my concerned was the inconvenience of having maintenance people in my place for a week and the discomfort of sleeping in a room where mood had been collecting for the past year.
I've lived here for 13 years. It's been good on and off depending on who was running the place which changed a lot. The current people want to raise our rent, and start charging for our dogs that we've never payed for. We live in a an old non-renovated place so why should we pay as much as the people living in brand new apartments.
I've lived at the station on central for over two years. In that time, I've really grown to love the amenities and residence. The location is superb, right next to the light rail, close to uptown Phoenix and Camelback corridor, and the Biltmore There are some hiccups with follow up regarding the front office, but it has never been anything too obscene. Overall, I would reccommend this apartment complex to anyone!
